Horrible staff, self proclaimed head security was chugging a monster and kept saying that he makes a lot of money and only offered to help me if I gave him $1000. Also never in my life have I seen a coat check line so bad it took 15 mins for one coat to leave the room. Waited in line for an HOUR to get my coat and lost my friends coat which was on SAME hook. Disgusting attitude from staff we will not be coming back to this “club”. The place itself was way too packed, I’ve never witnessed such an unorganized establishment. Honestly, Dallas would’ve been a better time and that’s saying a lot as I’m a person of colour. Its honestly just a matter of time before this place shuts down.

Lost my wallet at this establishment, called numerous times to no communication. Approached them through guest list the next day, with two pieces of id and offered videos as proof of my presence the day before, and was still declined entry. Deeply regret trusting this establishment, and wouldn’t want anyone else to feel this feeling. Simply cannot say anymore.

Went for the first time tonight, it was extremely expensive to get in ($30/person) and once inside the atmosphere was off and there were a few creepy guys that made it unenjoyable. One of them became confrontational with my female friend and was being very aggressive and security guards saw and did nothing, we decided to leave after that as that man stood in a corner and watched us in a manner that made us fear for our safety.

Worst 2 hours in line to not even get in. Specifically made a guest list because it was guaranteed to get in by 11 if you were on the list. Saturdays is supposed to be ladies guest list only too…. Meanwhile it’s 12:00 and we’re still in line and people are walking up to the security saying “oh we’re on *Tyler’s* list” or another male name and we’re let in…….. so apparently the only was to get into that place is if you know someone..? There was also someone outside claiming to be the “manager” telling everyone at 12 that it’s a 3 hour wait. Not sure how that’s possible since bars closed at 2 but okay. Will probably never attempt to go again

Possibly the worst managed club i’ve ever been to, not only is cover 20, which is uncharacteristically high of waterloo clubs, but the security is also atrocious. There are no barriers enclosing the line, security didn’t walk the line once, allowed an infinite of people to cut the line with their friends, and eventually it got to a point where the entire sidewalk in front of the doors was crowded with people jumping the line and instantly getting in, Guest list line was 2x the size of the regular one. The security genuinely could care less about their jobs. The entire ambience inside is horrible, constantly being under-poured on drinks, and even had a bartender charge me 3 extra dollar for the same drink i had been paying less for all night. All around seems like they don’t want to continue being around in waterloo.

This club kicked out my friend after she was assaulted in the establishment along with her friends after we paid 700$ for the booth. The security made no effort to seek justice and resolve the issue, they even went went as far as to choke one of our friends unprovoked as he tried to find our stolen stuff. Do not recommend. Once they have your money, they won’t care what happens to you after.

They didn’t mop the floor before opening, so it was sticky like a mouse trap. Comically sticky. No beer, no debit, no visa. Booze selection mediocre, but drinks are cheap. Bottle service “booths” kind of lame. Sound system is low quality and very loud. Type of crowd: metal detectors.

Friendly bouncers, didn’t feel crowd was creepy like the reviews said. Music is the best in the city compared to the drink and pub. Shots were pretty much same price as the drink.

Although I was completely attentive and patient with them, Urban culture was rude and impatient when it came to interactions with me and a few other people. If they were completely douchey when it came to treating their customers correctly. Got kicked out for no apparent reasoning, as well as they refused to give me my coat when doing so. Hopefully you don't experience the same. Other than that, the place was nice

Staff are rude (especially if you get bottle service). The bottle girl took everyone's money and must have pocketed it bc we did NOT get as many bottles as we paid for. And all this as a regular supporter, never going back. Plus The Drink is more lit anyway 🥱🤷‍♀️

Place was dead on a Friday night until all the creepy dudes in a 30 km radius decided to show up. Felt like a fly trap the floor was so sticky… nearly lost a shoe on more than one occasion :(

Honestly prices need to drop, 80 percent of the staff need to be replaced including all security and customers need to be treated with respect or this club will go out of business in the next 3-6 months.

So I've been there recently. There was a diverse crowd. You can get drinks starting from $5. DJ was incredible. Dance floor and ambience are okayish.

Bad experience. Friend and I were both overcharged and had messages ignored by staff. Money was taken, we were overcharged and the front counter and the guy there refused to admit his mistakes. Out $20 for a 5 minute experience.

service was unprofessional and they charge an insane amount for cover considering their venue is not even full or half capacity, do better, drake would not approve

You guys can’t keep someone else’s stuff secure even after paying for it. Should be ashamed of yourself lost almost $50 for free yesterday night . And the DJ o my god he was pathetic 🤬 and the guy at the entrance seeking for $10 entry fee he just cares about those $10 . Nothing else he cares about . Zero customer service . My gf dies the better.

Bad behaviour of security guards. Make people wait for about 2 hours. And send other people directly without line. No quality of service. Totally dissatisfied and disappointed.

Very lit club and good security. I find it kinda sexist how girls don’t get to pay but guys do at 10pm. I do know at 11 both genders have to pay but still. They charge way too much for the side door or when it’s halloween like 50-60$ to get in, I could do so much with that money. Not trying to hate, just saying

Absolutely love this place. Diversified everyone is friendly welcoming environment! Well organized and managed one of the best Night Clubs in Uptown Waterloo. Very Popular, me and my friends had a blast recently. Also best djs from all over Canada. Security very Strict when entering which is excellent. The bartenders were skilled and attentive, creating delicious drinks that surpassed my expectations, Excellent value for the price. The club's cleanliness was remarkable, with spotless restrooms, well-maintained furniture, and a fresh atmosphere. I’m not sure why there are negative reviews about this place. Great Ambiance must visit place in K-W.

Fun club would be better if they had beer on all nights! (what club doesn't?) arrive early or expect to be waiting a while in line.

I arrived the other night to the private opening to check the place out. service is phenomenal and quick, bar tenders were fantastic and knew just how to make the cocktails I requested, and the prices are fantastic. The club itself is extremely roomy, well air conditioned, and very clean, all of the staff members appear to be well trained and I could definitely tell they have been in this industry in the past. If you have been in the area for a while you may know of this location previously as Beta Nightclub, I'm happy to say Erb and Culture is a promising tribute to the previous hotspot of Kitchener/Waterloo and will fill the void in the Waterloo nightlife we've all been missing. Erb and Culture is successfully aiming to be different from every Club/Bar in KW and I can't wait to see this place thrive!

Let’s be real, all their staff act like they work in a club in toronto. Been to alot of clubs and this is by far the worst one. 1) security don’t know how to do their job proper; you gonna focus on the super drunk girl pushing MY FRIEND TO A BOOTH AND KICK HER OUT? Or kick my friend who’s obviously just dancing to the music with your plausible clause to kicking him out being “too drunk” how ironic. 2) Music tenders to 18yos with their tiktok music Take my advice and save your money and go to the drink. Lameeeeeee

Rude security they called my boyfriend a lady for no reason then laughed about it. Drinks were WAY overpriced and there are containers of limes for everyone to grab from which is unsanitary. We tried to stay and hangout with friends but even they said this place just wasn’t fun like they thought it’d be.

Security got into it with a drunk that should have been kicked out. Because of the money being spent, management let them stay. 2 security guards had to be held back from other security from taking care of the problem. Any other club security would have taken care of the problem… money talks.. laws don’t matter here!

Went with my man to let off some steam, very nice looking club. The music was great. We had a blast. Felt very safe with security.

Nothing but praise for this place. The vibes, music, and staff are all amazing. I'm impressed at how they've set up the place, very sanitary and COVID safe. The shisha was awesome, and the option to order food to your booth is the perfect touch. 10/10!

Some security guards were really awful and didn't know how to serve a customer. I visited the location for the first time, and it was the worst experience I've ever had.

Is very good place to dance and drink, never had something negative to said about this place 😎
