On days when the dog wants to go out and play and he don't want to have to give him a bath or just to go and unwind from life. A walk through this forest is amazing. It's a great time!

This is a great park for hiking on trails through heavily wooded land. We only hiked about 2 hours so only covered a small fraction of the available trails. Make sure to check both sides of the bulletin board at the parking lot. On the back I found information on an the Maprika app to download. If you have a smartphone, definitely get this app! It saved us from getting lost several times. I didn’t see any restrooms but I don’t know for certain whether there are any available. We will definitely be back to this park.

Great place to wind around thick forest of trees, bushes, and other lovely plants. It has a lost in the woods feeling depending if you take side trails or not. I would reccomend bringing a map or saving one on your phone. You can always expect to pass another friendly face or two. Popular dog and horse place. This place has high ratings from me, but I have been saddened to see people leaving horse / dog poop on the trails and some littering of things like face mask.

Great little get away that's still very close to town. Went out later on my mountain bike to check out the side trails. A little confusing of a course but beautiful and maintained well.

I have only hiked briefly with my dog on the edge of this park/forest, but it looks beautiful and well cared for. I love that Kitsap County has preserved such locations. There are main trails wide enough for bikes and horses, then many intertwining trails probably only safe for hikers. All should beware of cross-trail traffic. Also, it looks easy to get lost in here if you are just wandering around. No camping! Olympic Otter

Wonderful park in the Olalla area that makes for a pretty easy and beautiful hike through the woods. There are markers placed throughout the trails, as well as online maps available to use. It would be a good idea to bring bear spray and some flashlights just in case (this is the woods, after all). Would definitely recommend for a nice walk out with family or friends or some time alone with nature.

Never ride alone at banner, really easy to get lost out there. Found myself bush whacking my way out and being a mile or two away from my car. Other than that, it’s a great place to ride.

A nice relaxing walk through the woods. Tried to find the lake, but it was all covered. I enjoyed finding beautiful stones along the way! See if you can find them :)

Great trails for walking, biking and horseback. Mount and dismount for the horses. Well maintained, quiet, various trails. Not busy, a good place to get away and enjoy the outdoors for a walk or ride.

Really a nice park in the neighborhood. A big open path, then smaller branches. Seems bigger than map, a few routes will trick you, but nice to wander anyways
