Lothian services were really good. I actually learnt of the other about the Chain of Lodges in Zambia. I can't wait to visit them.

The furniture is very old, and they only serve continental breakfast anything more you have to pay for , kudos to the cleaning lady she was excellent. She kept the room spik and span despite the old fittings. The food wasn't very good and they kept old flowers on the tables

It's a very good place. You tend to live life to the fullest. I call upon those who are disappointed or have been in negative minds to visit the place. I have never been at a place like Lothian house. It's very big and cool. There is no noise here. I found life easy when I first visited this place. For students close to CBU. You can stay here. Its cool and very close to Mukuba Mall. It's also close to the Barrack and there is a clinic. Thus, you are protected. Come see for yourself if you are trying to find where to stay

Needs serious maintenance especially with water supply in the bathrooms. Otherwise its a okay lodge with good price for rooms.

It is okay. The only challenge I have experienced in upstair rooms is low pressure on hot water. They should work on that.

Lothian House has improved from the last time I spent nights there. The rooms are spacious and quite clean. I never experienced any security issues during my 5 night stay. Meals were good including continental breakfast

Rooms are spacious but they have a lot of damages, most of them have old blankets and no warm water

The rooms are okay and the food is good. I especially liked their bread which they make themselves. However, water was a big problem during my stay. In 5 days I experienced dry taps, then muddy water coming out from the taps then couldn't get hot water in shower.

One room I was taken was not swept at 17:00 hours and leakages in corridors, very small pillows.

This is a government Hotel in parkland near Kitwe basic and balacks or army camp along Chandamali street or near Mukuba Mall in Kitwe.

My observations maybe be somewhat dated ! I was a guest there 40 years ago on two occasions over - in 1978 and again in 1979. At that time the place was capably run under what must have been difficult circumstance, by Mrs. Evans. I suppose she has passed on by now. It is heartening to find the place still a going concern so many years later. Good luck to all who work and reside there !
