Fantastic park, great miniatures. Really impressive. You need a few hours to take a good look in everything, enjoy, have fun. Additional activities for kids. Pet friendly. You have a restaurant inside and small souvenir shop. Toilets are clean and tidy. Parking is free for visitors, without time limitations in this period of the year.

Suitable for spending a quality afternoon with kids. It has a large collection of models of some very interesting buildings from all over the world. The models were very carefully made to accurately resemble the original structures from the real world.

Amazing miniatures and the 4D movie was really cool! They have a gift shop with a lot of interesting souvenirs. Overall a very good experience. I definitely recommend it if you’re visiting!

Pretty cool expierence! My father went here 40 years ago so I recreated the moment. Price was a little high at 15 euros, but still a cool place in Klagenfurt.

The exebition with the buildings are great (but the entrance is expensive, no family ticket). The children also loved it, especially the working railroads and trains. And the reason for the 1 star is: the restaurant. It ruined the experience. Very overpriced, the food is bad, it's a rip off (small portions, with barely any sides, deep frozen, chewy meat, it was water with sirup instead of cola,...) and smoking is allowed, although there are many children in the park and in the restaurant too. So, if you visit the park, eat your dinner elsewhere.

A great activity for kids and adults alike. Minimundus has all the world's greatest marvels in one location, crafted with great precision and attention to detail. My only piece of feedback would be to improve on the route in the park itself. There are arrows painted on the ground which are supposed to show which way you're supposed to go, but most of them are only vaguely present at the time of visiting. This can be easily fixed by making signs in the grass fields depicting which way you're supposed to be heading. Unfortunately we weren't able to visit the indoor sections of the park due to the Covid-19 measures, but we'll definitely visit again in the future to get the full experience.

Amazing park where you can enjoy time discovering different famous buildings fffrom all over the world. Nicely decorated with green plants, old small trains and water , lots of banches in the shadow to rest and small fountains with drinking water, icecream cafe and restaurant to eat. Nice place for a family or a romantic walk:-)

Fabulous place to come with kids. Lots to discover and see. It's more or less child proof. Unless your kids are used to walk on grass and do so... Iced coffee in the cafeteria is recommendable.

(Translated by Google) This institution is maintained with a lot of commitment and attention to detail. It is a great pleasure to explore the structures and railways. Especially during the pandemic, it is nice to see buildings from distant countries at least as realistic models. Unfortunately, you cannot expect much from the local gastronomy, except that you will be full.

Top

Definitely a tourist trap with outrageously overpriced tickets. HOWEVER... the visit was still a pleasant and interesting. The facilities are well organized and, beside the model buildings into which obviously a lot of attention to details went into, there are model trains running along between them, providing another source of entertainment.

Great place, huge park with many miniatures from all around the world. the most iconic constructions. if you can't visit all of them in person here you can see them in one place in huge details. spent here more than an hour and still did not manage to see them all. great place also with small kids. some of them are moving or making noises. everywhere are small trains passing thru or ships. there is also an inside part which is not less interesting or can be used for times when weather is not as good. you can pay by card. souvenir shop included. there is also a coffee shop for a quick bite. highly recommend

Must visit in Klagenfurt lots of fun for adults and kids alike. Make sure you get the bundle tickets for good deals on the observation deck and lake boat tour. You get to see numerous attractions all in one. Don’t miss the 3D show. It’s worth the wait.

Explore the whole world in just two hours 😉 + Beautiful sculptures - some are actually impresive. + Entrence fee is 19 eur for adults (definitely worth it). - Can be very tiring if there is hot sun (not a lot of spots to hide from the sun).

The park is great! it has over 160 models of well known attractions. There is stuff to do, not just look at the models. There is a playground for children if they get bored. The park is well cleaned, there wasn't any trash on the ground. I recommend it, great place for children, a great place to spend a day in.

I have been to this place when I was a little kid and had great memories of it, so we wanted to show it to our daughter. It's conveniently located off a main road and offers plenty of parking spots. We visited on Easter Sunday and were surprised to see that they had special prices for that day (and were even open). Our daughter was less interested in the miniatures but more in indoor activities. There is a 4D cinema, a huge slide, a mini that you can drive, a soccer range, etc. Some of the miniatures are interactive or move, such as the space shuttle. There is a lot of love for detail, but I'd say it's more interesting for older kids or adults. They have a restaurant inside with a wide selection, a bit pricey but that's to be expected when visiting a park. This is a great place to visit when it's bad weather, we spend a few hours here and our daughter loved it.

It is a wonderful place to visit. Very good reproduced all the buildings from arround the world. What we also liked is that with the entrance ticket you get to enter to a short 4D movie/trip on the Chinese wall that is fun and you can also take 4 photos with a background that you can choose from 4-5 different ones and send 1 of them on your e-mail. What I found a little dissapointing that from Romania just 1 exhibit is to find. I expected to find at least Dracula's castle or Peleş Castle, or Voroneț monastry or other wonderful places/buildings from Romania.

TL;DR: The park is amazing but beware the ferris wheel! The Minimundus park is worth every euro. A lot of beautiful miniatures, many of them are electrified (with lights, trains riding on rails, moving/turning) with descriptions and info. I especially recommend the park during early evening hours, so you start with daylight and end in the dark. Walking through everything took like 2–3 hours but we were quite slow. You can eat there too, the food is a bit pricey but fine. Parking is free in front of Minimundus. Also there are bowls with water for dogs and drinking „fountains“ for people, which is a nice touch. The ferris wheel was, however, a nightmare. We were promised that we can go back to the Minimundus park after going to the wheel (it's separated), but the cashier (man in his 40s, clearly annoyed with his job and hating people) was really rude and unpleasant to deal with and told us that "done, miniatures park closed" 35 minutes before the actual closing time (although Minimundus staff promised us we'll be able to return). He absolutely refused to listen to reason or help us. Wheel costs 6 EUR per person (when you have MM tickets) for like 4–5 minutes ride and you can't pay with a card (everywhere else in the park are cards accepted). The view is nice but the staff attitude is really not worth it + you lose access to Minimundus you've paid for.

We had so much fun, it's a great place to take the kids to. The miniature buildings are very detailed and a few of them are interactive, the kids got a book with stickers to fill while following along and 4D movie was awsome. Definitely recommended.

Absolutely brilliant! It may look small but we actually spent almost 3 hours exploring the models! This place is a must for anyone interested in travelling or seeing the world. Can't wait to see them in reality too! Keep it up!

Minimundus is a miniature park in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee, Austria, that displays over 150 miniature models of architecture from around the world, built at a ratio of 1:25. It's one of the most popular tourist attractions in Carinthia, and is open year-round. The models are made from a variety of materials, including stone, brick, metal, and glass, and are incredibly detailed. Some of the most popular models include the Taj Mahal, the Eiffel Tower, the Statue of Liberty, and the Sydney Opera House. Minimundus also has a number of interactive exhibits, such as a model train and a miniature airport, which make it a great place to visit with kids. Here are some additional interesting facts about Minimundus: * The most expensive model in Minimundus is St. Peter's Basilica, which cost over 1 million euros to build. * The smallest model in Minimundus is a miniature cuckoo clock, which is only 10 centimeters tall. * The park is home to over 10,000 plants and flowers. * Minimundus is a non-profit organization and all of the proceeds from ticket sales go to support the work of Rettet das Kind Austria, a charity that helps children in need.

This was an amazing experience for the family. Highly recommended. We learned so much about the major landmarks across the world but also a lot more about Austrian architecture and history. The replicas are so impressive. Enjoyed the space shuttle launch. The 4D movie was ok, but not amazing.

A nice, tidy and clean place to get to know Italy in miniature. Everything is clean, the models are very neat, detailed and beautifully done, the environment around them is faithful with real miniature trees, the water surface is clean. Traveling by boat through Venice in a scale of 1:5 is also a nice experience. In addition to main Italy miniature and Venice, there is a lot of additional content. The only problem is that there is no shade during the tour of the miniatures, and on the day of our visit it was too hot

They have a mini car game (you get in the car then you see on a screen a movie from the park and the car is shaking) but is unsafe and can be even traumatic because the handle to open the door after the simulation is totally missing, so you get trapped inside. The mini car and was placed in an area where children are playing. What worried me is that I reported at the reception and they told me they are aware of the problem and there is nothing they can do... For that the 2 stars On the other side: I was really impressed by the level of details in the reconstructions and the general feeling in the park. Some of the exhibits were a bit interactive, wish there was more interaction.

(Translated by Google) It is located next to the Austrian Minimundus Klagenfurt. The fashion for miniature gaming cities (Minimundus) began in the early 1960s. In the Netherlands, the first such tiny town was built in Madurodam near The Hague, in memory of a young officer called Geroge Maduro, who died in World War II. Mostly the buildings of the Netherlands were made in a professional and lifelike scale. There is also a mini-city in Billund, Denmark, next to the factory of the world-famous LEGO toy company. The Austrian Minimundus is quite different: its greatest virtue is that not only Austria but also the famous buildings of the whole world can be found in a 1:25 scale. More than one and a half hundred buildings can be seen. This is one of the prides of Klagenfurt. 159 models dazzle young and old alike. Its slogan is "Little world on the shores of Lake Wörth", in German: "Kleine Welt am Wörthersee". Not far from the entrance you can see the Statue of Liberty in New York, near the White House. Among them are: St. Peter's Square with the Basilica from Rome, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, the Eiffel Tower, the Tower of London, the Venetian Bell Tower, a Loire Castle, the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, the Taj Mahal Vienna's Stephansdom, Schönbrunn Palace, Belvedere Castle, the Ferris Wheel of the Prater, and the Fisherman's Bastion in Buda. It is also the venue for several musical events. Minimundus runs from April to the end of October. Every year, the directors are waiting for visitors with some new building. Around the world in one day The 159 models of well-known buildings, trains and ships will take you on a journey around the world in miniature. The vibrant design of Minimundus will turn your journey around the world into a real adventure. Steam trains puff their way around and around while the cable railways are drawn along. And when the earth begins to tremble, it's time for the hourly spectacle of the space shuttle launch. The numerous animations in Minimundus fascinate visitors of all ages. For the purposes of this Regulation, the applicant is provided with a winter-friendly unit, which is provided with a separate type of connection to the unit, with the aid of a round-the-clock program in which it is used. The park is done very nicely, educational and at the same time entertaining for children (and grown ups alike) due to many moving features. (Translated by Google) Even if some models are a bit weathered and late autumn may not be the perfect time of year for Minimundus, the trip here is definitely recommended. It is impressive how the buildings have been recreated in miniature form, even more great when you have already seen and rediscovered a lot in the "original". The area does not seem very big, but you should plan some time to see everything ... it can hardly be done under 2 hours. The rocket countdown with built-in smoke and subsequent launch is a special highlight. The idea with the arrows for orientation and for the systematic "walk through" Minimundus is a very good one, but it should be perfected a little more. Either there are too few arrows or too many "faded" ones, in any case it was not always possible for us to follow. Great destination! Super Ausflugsziel!
