Incredible views of the lake after you walk past the gift shop. There is more parking past the initial lot. There is also a lookout point that was built into the side of mountain that has breathtaking views. Bathrooms inside gift shop as well as a small eatery for coffee and snacks. Highly recommend visiting to take in the views. 4th grade students can get a National Parks Pass which waived our entry fee.

This was a great place to stop to View Crater Lake. The guides from the Park Service were walking around helping visitors and guiding them through the area. There was plenty of wildlife and we got to play with snow in July. The cost varies, but it’s the standard National Park Vehicle fee.

Over an hour to get into the park, then a while to find a place to park. Remember to not go on a weekend if possible or start very early. Beautiful place to visit. Visitors Center was busy, but no waiting. Can't wait to go again when it's not so busy.

This is a great place to start your exploration of the area. The gift shop has a lot of nice tourist items at a reasonable price. They also have a little snack bar. The views are beautiful.

Visited on a weekend in mid June, 2023. Nice little visitors center. But the real action is right outside. Crater Lake is just breath taking beauty. Worth the trip to see this marvel of nature. They had roads closed because of excess snow. In mid June. But it's not surprising seeing how much snow we had seen driving in before entering the park.

Visited Crater Lake with family in 1968. Blown away as a kid by the size, the beauty and the idea a volcano had blown up leaving a lake on a mountain top. Moving to Oregon recently I have visited twice in non-peak times to enjoy the area without all the people. Something I picked up living for years in Wyoming. The drive to the area goes through fabulous national forests making the drive worth the time even without the lake. I think the next visit will include a stay at the grand hotel during the summer even with all the visitors. Included are photos from winter and the fall. Bring chains in the winter!!

The "Blue-ist" fun Ever! Crater Lake is the deepest lake in the world. Created by volcanoes and nature. It is absolutely stunning.

Really cute gift shop and visitor center. Very small. This is where we found the stamp for our National park passport. Better selection of random gifts here, the other one down the road has a better selection of clothing
