We stayed here for 5 days and 4 nights. Everything is okey. The hotel price is reasonable. The room was clean and the food also good. The most important is the staff was very friendly and helpful. Thank you for all the services u given to us.

The hotel feels old, with old school furnishing. The service people were great and helpful. I do have a problem with the marketing staff, who in the promotion showcased a bath robe... But when we got there, staff informed us that it wasn't available. The poster for the ad was even in the elevator! It's just a short walk away from a good mall, so if you don't like the hotel options other food is easily accessible. We booked two rooms, and while I had a great view of the mosque, the other room, which was an end room, had a less than stellar view. While I look forward to long soaks in hotels, I had to sit this one out as the bathtub had anti slip grips that didn't look inviting. Outside of that, the stay was pleasant enough.

I just went the for a hi-tea in the ballroom. The food served was very scrumptious I would say. And the staff there were very polite and helpful. On top of everything, I loved the chandelier very much πŸ’•. There were also room to change our clothes. I really liked the paintings there, they look so artistic. And the location itself was very convenient as it is located in the town. Overall, I liked the service provided.

Elegant building with an exquisite hotel lobby. Equipped with valet services and located near a shopping complex and a mosque. The hotel's restaurant never disappoint me with their luxurious meals for quite reasonable price. For the room though, some of the rooms are furnished with old-fashioned furniture but are in great condition. I'd recommend replacing them with new furniture that suits the hotel's theme. Overall, a great place to stay in for a short or long period.

The price is too high compared to the facility provided. Such range price u might getting better and more spacious room at another hotel. But i must say the view is quite nice. Just a typical hotel with higher price than others. HATE their breakfast service, u got no freedom to choose what you want to eat only given choices of Western, Local, and etc. Choices also limited depending on your payment of room and you can add other choices at their cafe. Perhaps this is due to SOPs.

Room was spacious for queen bed with bathtub. Clean room and toilet. Very convenient location at the center of shah alam. Staying here for wedding reception and the service was wonderful. Breakfast was great with a lot of choices to choose from and child friendly. Kids below 5yo dine for free. Great!

I am quite shocked that the price for hitea in its restaurant has increased from RM55 to RM70 but the food served was worse than it was before. And to add insults to injury Senior Citizens pay the same price as adults. Formerly this same restaurant charged only RM46. I do not want to comment much about the food. All I can say I will not come here again if the foods taste as such.

I'm not a customer, but as a flood victim that stuck in Shah Alam very glad that this hotel allow us stay in their lobby and using their toilet, before that we visit others hotel nearby all security guard block us in the entrance and don't allow us to borrow toilet let alone stay there for a shelter, but this hotel everyone very kind and let us rest in their lobby, dinning area, washroom etc, I see they even provide some blanket for some elder and kid. Nowadays very rare have this kind of good humanity when everyone just care about money and fame, big thump up!

One of the most popular hotel in Shah Alam. This is a four star hotel with a complete facilities. The rate for car parking is on the higher side for Shah Alam. Nonetheless, there a shops on the ground level. Level 1 and Level 2 area for meeting rooms. Surau is located at Level 3. We came here for our Ramadan 2023 reunion.

Very nice hotel. The interior seems a bit dated but very nice, very cozy. As an overweight person, I find that the toilet bowl is a bit of a struggle to use. This is due to the bidet unit installed cutting the toilet bowl in half. Other than that, all is good.

The hotel had seen better days and overdue for a much needed refurbishment. May be good new to some (not me), this is one of the vey few hotels that still have smoking floors, a remnant from a distant past... much like its decor, likes of which I have not seen in 4 star hotels since the late 90s. Still... it's 4 stars... as staff do try their best.

Very nice hospitality. The rooms were very nice. They have separated floors for smoking and non-smoking rooms. However the vegetarian food was not available. Overall, it's a very good hotel.

Not up to what I have expected. Not worth for the price. Not well maintained. Our first room was smelly. Requested to changed and they changed it. The breakfast buffet is limited to 1 hour. Food tasted OK. Frozen roti canai.. No second visit.

Everything about the room is spectacular except for the toilet. Would love to have traditional toilet with hose. Loved the king size bed which can fit 2 adults and 2 kids.

Good value place to stay in Shah Alam. Hotel decor is dated but the place is kept clean and tidy. We were very satisfied with our room which was huge in size as compared to modern boutique hotels nowadays. Cleanliness was good. Front desk wad very polite and friendly as well. Definitely will return if we ever need a stay in the area in the future.

I had a great experience at this hotel when my family and I come to Melting Pot Cafe to have lunch, there were plenty of food choices and friendly staff. But there's one staff that serves my family with a heart even though he helps me keep an eye on the kiddos and he is very polite. If I'm not wrong his name is Anthony and he is a Trainee from Indonesia. Thanks for the experience, such wonderful service, and food!

The hotel has been around for more than 20 years. You just feel the evergreen atmosphere. During our event the services by their management didn’t dilute despite the long history. The place surely needs a make over but not their services.

The Grand Ballroom is totally worth it for a grand event or wedding reception. The meeting rooms, the pool, the parking and the bedrooms are outdated, smells old and in dire need of refurbishment. The restaurant is very small, but they do have the best satay in Shah Alam.

The receptionist staff are polite and helpful, however the cafe's staff are less friendly except for the front counter lady. Hotel rooms need thorough checking on the quality and maintenance of the amenities, I had mine with leaking (quite bad) shower hose. Furthermore, my room aircond really takes time to cool down the room temperature.

Location of the hotel is near to the amenities..easy access to the mall..just across the road and eateries places are just within walking distance.. front desk service is very professional and thoughtful..they upgraded my room upon request and give the best view..room is spacious and clean..bed and pillow are very comfortable and fluffy..the breakfast for me is pretty average..not that good but not that bad either..however, the 1 hr limit time for breakfast is really unheard of..at least for me..all in all a very value for money stay at this hotel..only paid for RM190/night with breakfast

The rooms were okay only. For those who don't smoke, be mindful to ask for your room in a non-smoking floor. The staff were friendly & helpful but the rooms were pretty old & the toilet not so well maintained. The location is not so convenient although there is a small mall opposite the hotel with a Starbucks.

Just had a nite stay 2 days ago. The condition and look of the room really need to be refurbished. Looked old style..really old..esp the carpet. The aircon temperature did not cool at all... The parking lift not in good look. Breakfast spread not that much..so so Room rate reasonable. Staff very friendly.

It is quite an old hotel but must have been renovated recently as the hotel have a new facelift and the room looks fresh. It is spacious and service is good. It is also located near a mall and industrial area. Quite far from PJ and KL though. Ample parking with a multi-Storey carpark and have facilities such as gym and swimming pool. The breakfast is mostly local dishes but ok if you like nasi lemak, roti canai and noodles. Very popular with local travellers. value for money.

Good Part: The lobby is luxurious. The hotel room is nice but appears a bit dated in terms of interior style. The bed is comfortable, and the view from the windows offers beautiful scenery. The morning breakfast is nice for me, although it may vary for different people. There are plenty of 24-hour food stores and convenience stores nearby. Need to improve: The only things that need improvement are the air conditioning, which is not cold enough. I adjusted it to the coldest setting, but it still didn't make the room cool enough for me to fall asleep easily. Additionally, the hair dryer was not working. I called the hotel service, and they came to repair it, which worked initially. However, the next morning, the hair dryer didn't work again. I would give 5 stars if these improvements were made.

Old fashioned room. Dirty bathtub. I dont think the room is made as there is a scribbles on the notepad from previous guest. Worst check in process. Took 30minutes to issue our keycard as the font office staff couldn't find our name in the system. The manager who is supposed to assist us even make matter worst. It seems that they doesn't have proper system in place to retrieve important information such as payment status. Our reps paid in advance but we were asked to pay again. Hence the 30minutes that we won't get back. Confusing road leading to hotel. Manual parking payment system.

They are very friendly and respectful , the room furniture is okay , having various food. The issue is in the A/C and the level of cleanliness , the room is not clean enough from the beginning, the towels have spots , the mirrors are not well cleaned, even the bathroom isn’t clean enough. Their housekeeping service is very bad , we call them to clean our rooms but all they do is to collect the trash without washing the bathrooms which annoyed us. Otherwise everything was okay with cooperative reception Overall i will rate our stay 7/10… 3 points lost for cleanliness and housekeeping services

Cons - Front desk staff was unfriendly and stare at you with unwelcoming attitude this has already gave me the bad impression. Probably poor service. Pros : Good value place to stay in Shah Alam. Hotel decor is dated but the place is kept clean and tidy. We were very satisfied with our room which was huge. Cleanliness was good.

Pro: The lobby is luxurious. The hotel room is nice but appears a bit dated in terms of interior style. The bed is comfortable, and the view from the windows offers beautiful scenery. I got the mosque view.. fantastic. Breakfast is ok. I booked Premier Room that offer me Premier Lift Access straight to Premier Room Floor. Cons: the air conditioning need to improve, which is not cold enough. I adjusted it to the coldest setting.

It was the best decision to stay at Concorde Shah alam. Checked in at 3pm, Went to the coffee house to ask them if they can setup a candlelight dinner. At first they said they needed at least 1 week to prepare. Since I told them it's our anniversary, they said ok. We went over about 730pm and they prepared a table decorated with flowers and a candle. While eating, a live band came to our table and they started singing all the love songs. While the 2nd song was being sung, the waiter brought a small cake. It really touched our heart. Such a short notice but it was done so well. Kudos to the waiters, managers and also the front desk. They all were very friendly. Not to mention room was big and clean and food was awesome. Definately recomendding this hotel.

Just a decent hotel. Old hotel obviously. Refrigerator is not cold, dirty, spillage spot everywhere. Cleanness; below average if compared to Concorde Singapore that I have been to. Provided with almost empty tissue box. Bed sheets and pillows are smelly. Only 1 dental kit provided for Deluxe Room. Bathtub is dirty. However, check in and check out went smoothly.

Nice room, cozy, just that the interior design kinda dated. Food is superb. The breakfast is great, and other ala carte meals are good too. Should try their rib eye steak and salmon. Their special Apple+Carrot Juice quite nice too, with sweet and sour taste.

Hotel is good and staff as well. But During peak booking your Breakfast takes ages to be served. If Hotel already knows they are fully booked increased in Staff capacity in restaurants needs to be done so customer don't need wait for ages to get their Breakfast.

My favourite place when i have to be in shah alam for couple of days. With room promotions, 24hours room service, clean and comfortable room to work, what more can i ask. I'm a happy guest.

Didn't stay there. Went there just to visit family members and lunch. The food is good and it's affordable. The room comes with bathtub. Basic toiletries is provided. I could say it's worth the price you pay. The staff is friendly and helpful as well. There's a convenient store at the lobby too. There's parking too. I didn't get to experience the swimming pool, it's raining and there's a pandemic going on anyway. I might visit to stay next time. Hopefully the MCO ends soon. This is the only photo I have, that shows the lobby( kind of)

Really wish they would clean the toilets more often when we have large groups of people attending a full day seminar. Also top up the hand wash soaps especially during the pandemic. But crowd control was good food so so and room not too cold.

Aircond not so cool in the evening but the mosque view is superb. Update: even in the night also not cool! Very not comfortable at night. Double check with the other room, also not cool on 11th floor. Please maintain your air conditioning. Its a necessity for travellers to get a good sleep.

Don't get me wrong. I grew up with this hotel. I am a local. I even did my part time here when I was 16. 1. But I was frustrated when I saw the pretentious big-shots smoking their cigarettes and cigars in the Premium Lounge located just next to the access lift and front desk. It is indoor, the smell reaches outside and Health Ministry already prohibits indoor smoking. 2. And the lift access to the carpark is so small beside the Japanese restaurant. People and families waited more than 20 minutes after peak-hour check-out during weekends to get access to the lift. I know this came about due to SOPs but being a hotel backed by the Sultan of Selangor and Hard Rock Cafe head, guests shouldn't be ignored standing waiting to go to level 2 3 4 carpark. We all the Shah Alam people are WELL AWARE the basement carpark is always with a FULL signage 'cause it is reserved for staffs, so staffs can just walk up the stairs to access the lobby....all at the agony of the onlooking guests. This is already the talk of the town, FYI Mr Patrick Ng. Please do something. I hate to see this hotel become like De Palma Ampang / Shah Alam.

First time staying in a hotel that doesn’t provide daily housekeeping service. Request towel change too not attended. Called so many times. - No daily housekeeping unless you stay 3 nights - live with the rubbish in bin for 3 days Update: Apparently the hotel manager believes handing over towel in room will NOT spread Covid19 but housekeeping in the absence of guest WILL spread Covid19. Avoid!

Stayed here for 4 days 3 nights. Situated near a plaza so it is easy to get food and supplies. Service was excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful. Although the hotel is old, the room is spacious and clean. For the price we paid, it was a wonderful stay.

Its been many years since retired from service at Northport (M) Berhad...that we hv attended Wedding Receptions or Other Functions at Concorde's Ballroom. Not much hv changed...or I might hv missed to notice any changes (if any)... Since we arrived after an earlier similar function at Setia Alam.. we hv missed half of the events that hv taken place before our arrival. One aspect to my dislike was the Hotel's caterer's staff's (one) service. I asked for "warm water" (drink)...but was provided with a "chilled one"..instead. Before leaving I was surprised and overwhelmed when I met my old Colleague (working place.. who was together in Abu Dhabi's Int. Business Expo reprenting KCT & KPM.. in 2000) that we last parted when I retired in 2002.

Berbuka puasa or breaking fast at concorde was fantastic. Except for the satay 3 sticks per customer policy... the rest of the menu was plenty such as dim sum, sop daging, sotong kangkung, and the traditional lemang. Will definitely come again next year god willing

  • 5/5 Shahir S. 1 year ago on Google
On the dated side as it is one of the oldest hotel in Shah Alam. Made up for it for having well maintained facilities, courteous staff and well stocked restaurant. Breakfast and dinner is great with good spread of choices. They can improve by getting stronger WiFi connection throughout, especially in the Patio Rooms, improving the TV reception etc. Proximity to shopping mall is a plus. Stayed for business, would come back for leisure.

  • 4/5 Abu F. 1 year ago on Google
Generally good upkeep to preserve the Concorde hotel brand within the public perception. Largely acceptable ambience in the sec 9 Shah Alam neighborhood. Lobby could do with a touch of interior deco. Coffee house needs to be upgraded with real nice furniture & fittings, though. Looks pretty lethargic as it is. Perhaps budget not presently permitting. Post-pandemic, hotels need to be more creative to pull in patrons whether room for stay or meals at the restaurants

If you can clean your room thoroughly. Like remove grime from the bathtub, the hair dryer has grime deep in the plastic. Maybe do a little vacuuming...? How can you still run a hotel and not be bothered about hygiene and cleanliness?

Stayed here for few times. Furnishing for upper floor seems to be newer, the lower floor a bit dated. Nevertheless, the room was clean & comfortable for a good night sleep 😴 The location is very strategic, adjacent to the mall, near to the mosque as well as hospital. Enjoyed the food so much particularly the steak which was cooked to perfection. Also the Teh Tarik Kaw.. Recommended to stay here for those visiting shah alam & in needs of accommodationπŸ‘πŸ‘
