13.12.2022: Food was not like last time. Chawanmushi was sour. Apparently the reason given was the chef mistakenly put vinegar instead of shoyu. Sake oyako don... The roe is much too sour to normal. Sushi rice is mixed with normal rice. Who eats sushi rice with a spoon? Downstairs seating looks bleak. Just with partitions. -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_- 2020: Food is pretty good. Nice ambience. The tables are pretty far apart from each other which gives the customers the feel of privacy (it's good).

First time dining on a weeknight. Fairly empty, was quite easy to get a table. Atmosphere was very quiet. Place seemed a bit dated, but clean. Food was generally good, waitress gave some recommendations of fresh seafood. Soba and tempura were good quality, grilled fish from the special menu was fresh and delicious. A little bit on the pricey side. Valet parking available.

Do you know the fact that pregnant women have cravings over food quite randomly? And that happened to the husband too? Yea that's me, I was craving for curry udon and I just don't want to go to those in the shopping mall. The fact is we aware there's this restaurant sitting there for many years but never actually been so we finally made the move. Ambience, it was dark but quite comfortable. The dimmed light gives you a sense of privacy, which is good. Design feels old but hey, that's good! Anyway, food is always the priority! Curry udon, my cravings for the day We were surprised that it has shedded chicken in it, pretty! the broth's thickness is my liking, to Malaysian tongue it's definitely not spicy but the spices combination is just right, very good balance. The udon, wooooooo springy! Even I took my own sweet time to eat, it didn't turn too soggy. We ordered salmon Chazuke, also my fav ( you see that, it's my cravings not my wife's) something ppl eat after drinking or as late night snacks. The broth has rich flavor of bonito, it felt great when you taking a spoonful of rice, salmon, and the broth together, close your eyes..... inhale, stop.... exhale thru your nose. Get it? We ordered some other food but I felt I wrote too much. Overall the dining experience was decent, although we do feel waitress can be more lovely, friendlier but perhaps people are tired? Anyway, we sure will return!

Very quiet Japanese restaurant with valet parking available. Their ingredient is fresh however ordering might be an hazard as they also miss it and food delivering time is quite a while even there is not much table around

Slightly pricey for the environment, old restaurant without renovation. Food quality acceptable. It would be better if the serving presentation can be improved.
