we had a family dinner in this restaurant and found it was a perfect place. good food with friendly atmosphere and life music. very recommended.

Food is not very good, but is surely expensive. Children Spätzle portion is ridiculously small. My 4 years old daughter would eat 3 times what they served. (They did take it out of the bill after I complained, though.) I don't recommend eating there. The place, however, is very nice, with a nice view of the church. So maybe for a beer it's worth it.

Awesome restaurant.....very relaxing and food is over the moon.

Today I am disappointed with their schnitzel, not golden fried. Even I ask to fried bit longer, I got even more oily and no change color on it. Two photos to see the comparison.

Good food and drink! Open all day, every day! Commonly very busy (I would recommend reservations). Waitstaff is often challenged with the large volume of customers.

Good service, my food was fine but the goose my mother had was dry and overcooked. The waitress made up for it by being in nice. 😁 there only t 3 stars ✨

I visited Alte Post twice for dinner, on a business trip. The food, drink and service here were all fantastic. I ate the Stroganoff and the Kochkäse Schnitzel (both paired with apple wine), had the kochkäse bread and the meat balls as appetizers, and tried the apple strudel, chocolate soufflé, and the Nussknacker ice cream. Everything was cooked to perfection and could be recommended without hesitation. Of what I had, I think the Stroganoff was the best for the main course, the kochkäse bread, was best for the appetizer, and the chocolate soufflé was tied with the Nussknacker ice cream for dessert. I loved this restaurant. Would recommend without hesitation.

Super modern atmosphere. Very good service and of course the food taste even better than Great! You have to try the Alte Post Burger. Yum yum
