Nearly perfect cakes served by the most welcoming waiter that seems to have absolutely no idea how to make cappucino :-( He failed every single operation: didn't press the coffee in the basket hard enough, let the water run through it long enough to fill the half of the cup if not more (what a looooooong espresso, eh), and then poured some milk foam over it which was clearly not enough to improve the overall watery bitterness situation. It was a very good lesson to watch how the coffee is made before ordering it next time. And I will sure return here: until the French border is open again, there are no better cakes in all the four lands in the 200+ km radius.

It's difficult to find a nice coffee shop in Germany. There are beer houses everywhere but not so many options to have a nice coffee in a cozy place. I love small coffee shops. It was a lovely place but they are not so good with the English language. I tried my best to talk in German. I suggest learning how to order stuff in German before going there :)

We have been waiting for 25 minutes until a waiter finally appeared. During all that time we haven't seen a single waiter or waitress coming out, although the place was full. We even started wondering if it was self service. Then a completely relaxed waiter came to take the order, which was a coffee and a Kakao, not something special. 25 more minutes passed and we saw the waiter again, completely relaxed, taking a cigarette break by the side...Of course we left and we will never come back again.

Friendly waitress but has no idea how to make a cappuccino. The cups they have are from Ikea. Käsekuchen was good.

Petty little café in the heart of St. Johanner Markt in the city. The cheesecakes here are extremely popular, and the coffee is quite good too.

Scandalous : only when you finish and ask to pay are you told "no card only cash". Zero signs, zero warnings, and of course when you are a foreigner you have fees. That plus the very slow service. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND

Cappuccino was mediocre, tasted more like milk and water than coffee. Prices are higher than they are supposed to be

The coffee isn’t the best. Cake tasted ok. Atmosphere is nice and staff was sweet, but it was kinda loud, because they were tidying up the kitchen and couldn’t do my reading. I visited around 7pm.
