What a great find this restaurant was!! Such a clean and cool environment!! Food came out hot and fresh and was absolutely delicious!! They have something for everyone with over 4 pages to choose from. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner ALL DAY!! My daughter is a super picky eater and she loved it!! Bonus that it is cost friendly. Only small recommendation is that they don't give syrup in the "to go" packs. Warm syrup in a bottle or something would have been great.

First time visiting today with the family. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but once you walk in it’s bright, cheerful, and it smells delicious. I noticed some of the previous reviews concerning the hours so I asked and they confirmed their schedule is M-Sat: 6am-7:30pm and Sun: 6am-4pm. The food was delicious and I was very surprised they had a significant amount of options for Mexican plates. It seems to be family ran and everyone was nice. Our waitress did not appear to be very experienced yet but other staff would also come by and check on us. As someone who’s worked in the service industry, I understand that the small staff can be overwhelmed especially with a full dining room on a Friday morning. We had two types of omelets with home fries and I had the chorizo and eggs plate. All were tasty and no one got that feeling of being over stuffed or almost nauseated by the amount of grease and salt we’ve experienced at other places before. After speaking with the owner, it turns out they chose to name it the New York diner because the family was from NY where they operated a diner and they wanted to bring their diner here. I found that charming bringing a little piece of their love for NY to Knightdale. To those who solely post bad reviews and don’t bother to address your issues with the managers, keep in mind that for independent places those reviews go a long way. We don’t need more fast food places and chains around here. We need to help the independent places thrive by addressing our issues directly with them first.

Food is kinda ok the grilled chicken melt sandwich is extremely dry, water taste mucky, the service can definitely be way better they don't give any options or reccomendations, granted when I complained they took the food back to try to fix it but they also took the old food back and reused it on new food that's disgusting to me. But the service is fast and they are pleasurable. The restaurant is entirely to busy and to many vibes in one.

Such a great place for breakfast, I just happened upon this place while looking for a brunch spot. The menu has great variety, and the food was out to us very quickly. It's full of flavor and cooked up perfectly. I would highly recommend you give it a try.

As a New Yorker, I am always on the lookout for authentic NY food. This place surprised me. Its a weird eclectic mix of NY food and Mexican… but do not let that fool you. It was really tasty. The service was fantastic and friendly. Definitely give this place a try!

This restaurant with it's delicious unique food and amazing staff is now a staple for us. Rudy was an amazing waiter and helped us decide on what the order. We even made a customer sandwich of substituting the bun on the spicy chicken sandwich for a waffle! The pancake burrito was amazing. When you want sweet and savory it's a great choice. The apple cinnamon stuffed French Toast was perfect! Powder sugar banana and the right amount of vanilla and cinnamon. Overall this establishment exceeded any expectations!

The food tastes homemade and they bring it out extremely fast! The staff is so friendly and they keep everything spotless. This is my new favorite restaurant!

Love this place, I stop in at least once a week. I'm a fry snob and they have the best fries I've had in years. The food CAN be hit or miss sometimes, I think they must have one cook that isn't as good as the other. They have a wide variety of food options, Im sure they do some better than others. Prices are pretty good in comparison to others. The service is usually fantastic, I'm a regular and they have my drink order ready for me by the time I get to a table. The restaurant is also the cleanest place you'll ever eat in, they are constantly cleaning throughout the day. The owner (older Hispanic woman) isn't the friendliest, but it's not rudeness, she's just a bit brusque. My only complaint is that they keep their TVs on at a relatively loud volume, so even when there aren't a lot of customers, there's a lot of background noise.

Food was very fast and cooked awesomely! Definitely a gem in the Knightdale area! You’d be foolish not to stop by for a quick delicious bite!
