The worst experience in a 5 star hotel. Booked for 2 nights but I checked out the second day and booked another hotel Staff were not friendly at all. No smiles. No greetings. Very snobbish. maybe because I’m a foreigner. Very limited selection of menu and not child friendly. Room service never answers the phone nor does reception. We had to go down to tell them what we want and after a long wait we got the wrong order. Same thing happened in the morning for breakfast. Phone is not picked up and we checked out without breakfast. Also, after checking in the room the dustbin was full of trash from previous guest which was very disgusting. Overall a very bad experience for a tourist in a beautiful country. Price is high for the value.

Beautiful hotel, amazing facilities and lovely modern rooms with nice balconies. They have a large indoor stainless steel pool with massage function in one of the corners, as well as a hammam and sauna. The views over the river are stunning. Staff is polite and professional overall, and willing to help. Breakfast was very good and the breakfast room was tastefully decorated. Room service however needs improvement (ie poor frozen pizza margherita!!) Would definitely visit again if I have the chance to.

A 3-minute walk from Knokke Casino, this upscale hotel with an ultramodern glass-and-metal exterior overlooks Zegemeer lake, and is a 12-minute walk from the Knokke train station. Suites add living rooms, dining tables and panoramic views; some have terraces with scenic views. A chic restaurant/bar features a seasonal lake-view terrace. Other amenities include a posh wellness spa with an indoor pool, a sauna and a hammam. There's also a business center and 5 meeting rooms.

Wonderful hotel with super friendly stuff. Lovely rooms where everything was super clean. We enjoyed our trip and will come back … and not just because the bar is serving nice drinks ;)

Bar 160 of the hotel is a very nice and cosy place. They have a nice variety of cocktails/mocktails and other beverages and snacks. Staff is very nice, service is good. The terrace offers a superb view over the lake behind the hotel.

We stayed from the 28.07- 30.07.2022 in La Reserve and are happy to share our thoughts and feedback with the team and also via Google Maps. The hotel is located opposite of the famous grand Casino Knokke on the elizabethlaan close to the Albertstrand. It’s easy to find and the entrance to the underground parking spot is well signposted. Unfortunately we’ve not been informed nor any information about parking fees (which are 28€/d) posted or addressed. This is something we would like to know upfront. Entering the hotel we’ve been welcomed by the receptionist. The checkin was easy and quick. The room (#207) itself had no daylight which creates a gloomy atmosphere. Would be nice to get the Information beforehand. Nothing stated nor pictured on the booking website. After we spotted a bunch of hairs from previous guests in the bathroom, shower and on the heater which we felt disgusted by, the manager on duty gave another room which was clean and nice. The breakfast fee is 35€/p.p which is not a good-price quality ratio what they serve. For instance, the whole English breakfast was cold and not of a quality what you expect from those higher class hotels. Their are much nicer small breakfast places around the corner with are spraying a wonderful Charme e.g. de Kaasfee. The breakfast location inside and outside are nice but it’s very difficult to manoeuvre each other through the narrow aisle with a breakfast plate in your hand. The wellness area with a pool, steam bath and a Sauna are clean and nicely arranged but we missed a proper gym. Furthermore the team is very inflexible about later checkout nor providing the access for a quick shower in the wellness area (had a meeting in Brugge late in the evening) and also didn’t provide any alternative solution. All in all we had a ok’ish time in La Reserve but expected to get a compensation in terms of breakfast or parking discount regarding the disgusting bathroom incident. Interested about your reaction on our improvement suggestions.

We went to the wellness this afternoon and in comparison with 4 years ago, I'm a little bit in shock. In comparison to well known wellness centers such as Elaisa, for the same price, you just get a swimmingpool, a sauna and a hammam. No tea is served, the installations and decor start to look very used / outdated (ex. The mattresses on the daybed alongside the pool look very used). It is a pity because it could be a real wellness place, but they should reconsider the customer experience. The pool although is very clean and in good shape. No tables to put on books to read for example at the pool... kind of lacking comfort. Paint look not fresh, neither in the bathing area, nor in the changing rooms. It looks like the spa has been a little abandoned by the management. Staff is adorable, very friendly and helpful!

It's an alright establishment, it has an alright vibe to it, the morning staff more friendly then the evening staff, further we lost a necklace in the sink and called the janitor for it. They send someone to check for it but he only looked at the sink and said I'll send my colleague... 3 hours later still no colleague to be found! Eventually we gave up for it and just went ok with our day over there . (The next day) The next day we checked our and went further on our adventure not expecting the day after (today to get an email with the message the necklace has been found, what is your address so we can send him to you! I mean that's something we completely didn't expect anymore we thought it was a gone! Thank you so much Hotel La Réserve!
