In the Marriott app, the pet fee was listed at $25, but when we arrived at 10:30pm, the night staff tried telling us the pet fee is $50. Then they wanted us to fill out some form, which we have never had to do at any other hotel (including Marriott), so we filled it out but didn't sign it because we didn't agree with the pet fee since we booked it in the Marriott app. The night staff just wasn't friendly or welcoming at all. The hallway to our room had stained carpet and trash was outside several rooms and smelled a bit. The room itself was fine. Aloft rooms are very minimalist. There was a lot of noise from the interstate, but it's kind of a white noise, so it didn't bother us. In the room, there was a note with 1 pair ear protection (pic attached) about live music. 1st of all, this isn't the Nashville strip. 2nd, 1 pair for 2 people and then what about our dog? Luckily there was no live music, but why was there no disclaimer in the Marriott app about this? Also, if you allow dogs, there should be a place on your property to walk them. I had to walk over to the Tru Hotel property to walk my dog. We won't be staying here again.

I’ll start with the staff. They were lovely and very helpful. I have zero complaints there. The noise in the rooms was a thing. The lack of wall covering to dampen noise, the road noise, and the waist management trucks at 4:30am sound like they are in the room. I appreciated the ear plugs but it’s disappointing that one would even need them. The fact that this is a pretty modern hotel with modern amenities, I was surprised to find coin operated laundry machines. Was difficult getting cash, making change, and the lack of available laundry detergent to purchase was cumbersome at a minimum. $10 breakfast sandwiches are a bit proud too. And, despite waiting for breakfast service for 3-4 minutes we opted for other options.

Stayed here a handful of times the past couple of years, while traveling on vacation. Nice, clean place tucked away near other hotels and fast food places. Quiet, tech vibe, and lobby offers full bar, pool table, board games, and also nice outdoor seating available. Will stay here again if passing through the area. Reasonably priced.

Service was below average. I stayed 3 nights and they never cleaned the room. A bit hard to get to off the highway. It was kind of far from everywhere I went in Knoxville. On the good side it’s clean overall. Just an average hotel overall. Felt safe. Also, there’s a free pool table in the lobby so that’s a plus. Front desk employees were courteous.

I recently hosted my husbands 50th birthday celebration here. It was great!!!! Heather was extremely helpful, as was the rest of the staff the day of. The catering company they use is FANTASTIC. The grilled chicken was amazing. If you need a place to have an event, I would recommend this venue.

The rooms seem dirty and dated even though the hotel is less than 5 years old. A massive amp (that cannot be moved) takes up over 50% of the tiny end table mean to be shared by two beds. The comforter had several stains on it, and the comforter cover does not close, so it’s very easy to accidentally push your arm/hand inside the comforter instead of on top. In general the hotel seemed dingy and dirty. The windows on the 5th floor look like they haven’t been cleaned since the hotel opened 5 years ago. Also, the bathroom door is a “farmhouse” where it rolls and doesn’t fully seal. The track seems to have rusted and now it’s very difficult to actually get the door to move

If you're a grown adult. These rooms are not with you in mind.😊 Very college dorm type setting. I would not recommend this if you're looking for a traditional hotel. The staff is FANTASTIC. MS HOPE on my second night here, went out of her way to find coffee, cups, creamers and bring bags to my room. Again this is a very hipster type place. The staff makes it worth it on every level. I do include some pictures of the room. My grandchildren said they love the pictures and that should really tell you atmosphere you're dealing with. I personally will not be ever staying here again. If I can possibly help it because I just don't feel comfortable here. But the young people would really love this place under thirty.

Spent one night to attend a concert in town. Minimalistic comfort. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Quiet and clean. No complaints at all.

Had never stayed in this hotel. Was pleased with this hotel . The room was nice an clean, beds were nice, easy to sleep on. The staff were very helpful. Restaurant was nice. This hotel was all around a nice place to stay. I would definitely recommend staying here if you come thru Knoxville.

Ashley at the front desk was super pleasant my entire three night business stay. Rooms here are always clean, and I feel the value here for your money is top notch. Also, the location in West Knoxville is prime for business travelers who don't want the hassle of a stay in downtown, yet want diversity of food options, which there are plenty here. I honestly don't understand the negative reviews, each and every time I stay here feels like an extension of home to me.
