Not sure why but the quality has really gone down. Staff isn't as friendly, the food is hit or miss. Brought my daughter here for her birthday and they gave her fish sticks that were mostly bread and burnt. My wife and I ordered the same salmon entree and hers was twice as big as mine. We ordered mussels and more than half of the muscles didn't open. The manager never came and apologized for anything and we ended up having to take my daughter somewhere else to eat. Update: after reaching out to corporate, I never heard anything from them. Waited weeks so I decided to call the location and actually speak to the manager on duty. It was Heather, she was nothing but helpful and made my next experience completely different from the original. No thanks to corporate.

Excellent food. I really loved the creamed spinach and Fontina Pork Chop. My husband liked his lobster and steak and said the mac and cheese was the best he's had from a restaurant in awhile. We had a delicious brownie for dessert too. We were seated quickly and the server was very helpful and attentive.

WOW! We hadn't eaten here in years, but I decided to take my Mom for a late, Mother's Day dinner. They brought out a fresh loaf of bread with a dish of oil & spices for dipping while we waited for our meal. Mom got the filet mignon with the whipped garlic potatoes & coleslaw. I tried the cod imperial with fries and mac & cheese with bacon. Everything tasted wonderful! The filet was exceptional, as well as the service. We got there just before 4pm, to miss the dinner rush. We're already planning on going back. Update: We visited again on Sunday, 7/25/21, and tried out the Imperial chips and dip which was pretty good. I didn't care for the coleslaw that I got with my meal, but everything else was wonderful again. If you want the bread and seasoned oil, you have to ask for it. 1/8/22, Today I got the filet mignon, garlic mashed potatoes, and creamed spinach. The filet was slightly undercooked & I didn't like the spinach at all, but we'll still be back. And although they weren't crowded, it took quite a while to get all our food. This visit was only about a 3 to 4 star, but since it's usually really good, I won't change my star rating at this time. 8/21/22, I had another terrific meal. They do put pepper on the grilled shrimp, so if you can't eat pepper, like me, let them know. I didn't realize, so I asked if I could get a few fried shrimp instead. This is what they gave me. We went Sunday about 1. Place was dead maybe 5/6 other tables had people... food was ok at best.. they brought out our appetizers, salad,and main course all out at the same time. Told us they didn't have the fish and chips... same waiter than went to another table 5 minutes later said the fish and chips would be the best substitute for what they wanted. Maybe if the hostess wasn't worried about a handshake she was perfecting with another staff member they could have been cleaning the tables because they are disgusting. We moved the salt shaker and this is the pile of bread crumbs from who knows how long. The pictures are moving the table cloth in a booth along the wall that we were sitting at

We had the Tempura Sashimi Tuna to start with a Pomegranate martini, very good! & the fresh margarita, which was a quite tart, so I asked for a bit more simple sugar, which made it ok, not the best margarita I've had. They have a happy hour or social hour they call it, which they have select drinks & appetizers from 4-6 ish and the menu for that is on the table in a clip. We split the bang bang shrimp tacos with fries and a side of the delicious Kung Pao brussel sprouts and they were outstanding! Our waitress was very pleasant, but we waited near an hour between the appetizers and ordering dinner, we were going to just get the check & leave when she came over to take our order. In her defense, they looked very understaffed and she was working the bar and tables, it was a bit early 4:30 or 5 when we arrived there was no hostess that greeted or seated us, it was Monday, so they may not get alot of business at that time. The food was good and we will visit again.

The food was ok for me but my friends love it a lot. They got very high reputation in the oak ridge national lab as I known. I more like Chinese style steam fish so it is not that appealing for me.

The food is tasty, the experience and service has a lot to do w/ your server. We enjoyed the food but the waiter was standoffish and odd. The area has grown and still seeing growth. With new growth comes new people and no matter if the new people do not look like the regular customers, the service shouldn't be different. The food was nice, the energy from the waiter was unfriendly.

We liked the layout of this place a lot. The waitress and the greeter were very personable. The food was not bad but nothing to brag about. I had the Bonefish Special with salmon and enjoyed the taste but it was way too spicy for me. My wife had the shrimp with Mac & cheese. I tried both and found they were bland, Not much taste at all. I am critiquing this because I would love for this place to get better. If the food was better we would would have enjoyed our meal much more.

Wife and I dine here when we desire great seafood in Knoxville As native Floridians we've had great seafood all our lives. But Bonefish is the best in Knoxville. Food and service is consistently excellent. Justin in the bar is fantastic. Great eatery guys.

This place really went down hill! We went on Friday 11/17/2023 you would think the place would have been packed but only two other couples we there when we arrived around 70:30. The waiter was new looked like a surfer dude he didn't remember to bring water after asking 3 times he brought 1 glass to split with 4 persons and never rembered to bring bread that we requested it... I ordered Bang Bang Shrimp which came to or table before our drinks were served and the shrimp was cold but, I was starving so I ate them anyway. My wife and I both had the sea bass which tasted like a small wet sponge. My kids split the seafood pasta. After I arrived home I realized that I got food poisoning spent the night in our bathroom. I will personally never ever go back to Bonefish again. A better choice is Charthouse or Connors. My wife picked Bonefish because it was her birthday! Bad Choice honey 👎

We sit for 45 minutes before anyone took our order and then it only happened because we chased down someone to take it. The original waitress didn't come back to take our order until someone else had already taken it. Which was a hour after she had took our drink order. When we told her someone else had taking our order she got mad and said son-of-a-b*tch and walked away. Very rude!!! The food was great when we got it and the bartender brought it and was really great.

My family had an awesome treat dining here last night. We had a somewhat large party and our server (Jennifer I think) was attentive the entire time. She made sure we were taken care of and was an absolute delight and fit right in with our bunch. She is truly such an asset to the team. The food and drinks were also delicious. I definitely recommend the espresso martini and Jennifer!

Window sills are dusty and makes me not wanna eat here. Order has been messed up like 6 times and every time I ask for sweet tea she pours unsweetened. Kids running this place- don’t come - not worth the $$- they don’t even give you straws. Asked for bread… never got any. Kitchen closed an hour before close. Makes no sense if you have customers walking in. I’ll never be back.

I've been wanting to try Bonefish ever since about 2 years ago when I first noticed them next to a Planet Fitness I used to go to. Ok, do you got time for a story? Long story but trying to be short.... went to Panera Bread that afternoon and Bonefish was next to, I told my friend I'd never been but wanted to go. She says it's really good and I have no doubt that it must be. Get a quick bite at Panera and go on to help our friend move in to their new place. As a thank you we were treated to go out to eat and guess what the feast be, you guessed it, Bonefish. Reservations were made and I'm like ooo fancy, so they have creme Brule 🤣. Anyway, our server, Ana, took great care of us, no complaints my way. Food was great. I wish I had taken some pics. Another unexpected surprise surprised me that evening. My friend Jen brought out a dish and I had not seen her in awhile, didn't even realized she worked there. She's been there 5 years and her fiancé 2 or 3 years. I had an enjoyable time and would def go back there some time. O, btw, I don't even think they had creme Brule! 😅

I’ve been there 3 times in January and I had mussels every time. The first time was too sweet, the second time was pretty good, but the third was too salty. I really like the mussels from bonefish, but to be honest, I’m kinda disappointed with the quality I had here and the price I paid ☹️

4 of us ate here. Our server was outstanding. Ordered seafood dip and it was really good. I had grilled Mahi and shrimp for my meal. It was OK. The shrimp was barely warm and the fish was kind of bland. The other members of our party had the fish and chips with coleslaw and the trout. They all liked theirs far more than I liked my meal. But, for the expense, the food was nothing special.

Went for the first time after work very hungry and needed good food and good food i got. The food I order had just amount of flavor and was delicious. But what most the staff was all friendly, one staff member did actually stand out and it was a young manger named David . David new what he was doing walking around directing Making sure everything was running correctly. He had a good energy and a wonderful smile it was nice to see a staff knowing what they were doing and a captain running the ship with an iron fist …

Appetizer of lobster/crab/cheese was really good. Husband had shrimp tacos(pictured) they were spicy but very good. My son and I both had the imperial cod stuffed with shrimp/crab/cheese sides of spinach, potatoes, and coleslaw(pictured). I marked down a star for my meal the coleslaw was nothing more than a bowl of shredded raw cabbage with NO dressing of any kind. The dinner itself was ....ok... not sure how to explain it but my son wasn't in love with it either.

Excellent seafood selection in Knoxville area. Bar staff is friendly and recommend great companion drinks with entrees.

Soap spots on cups and mold in the fountain drinks i feel sorry because they are short staffed but its not a excuse for barely washed cups and mold in fountain drinks. Food was its only saving grace hats off to the chef

This was the first time we have ever eaten here, and we will be coming back! We normally go to Chesapeake’s for sea food and decided to give Bonefish a try. The food was amazing and the service from Matt our waiter was fantastic! This is hands down our new favorite restaurant! If you’ve never been before like us, you must try the bang bang shrimp appetizer!

The atmosphere inside puts me in mind of a more upscale restaurant but is pretty reasonable price wise. The filet was good but the corn chowder soup with lump crab meat is not to be missed. The wait was nonexistent because we reserved online and the staff was very friendly. Our waiter had a ton of energy and was extremely polite and helpful. I'd recommend this place to somebody wanting to go to a nice dinner or take somebody to a nice first date.

Seated quickly with reservation. I got the Cod Imperial and it was DELICIOUS! Everyone really enjoyed their meal. Wait staff was great! I would highly recommend!

Loved our food (if you can, get the butterfish on the specialty menu), loved the atmosphere, loved our waiter, David! He was especially attentive and personable, always making sure everything was perfect and that we had a steady line of drinks and anything else we needed. This restaurant is a staple in my diet now!! Will go back as much as possible.

Our reservation and food was excellent as always. We eat here twice a month and are never disappointed. In addition to the excellent food and reservation system, the Winter White Cosmo needs to not be seasonal but always available. My absolute favorite drink! DAVID our server (who has waited on us a few times) is amazing. He's very personable and attentive with perfect timing with his service.

We went 09-05-2022, middle of the afternoon. The place was mostly empty. We had prompt service, and our server was very attentive. My wife ordered the Stuffed Cod. It was very good, we both liked it. I ordered the Pasta with Shrimp/Creole seasoning. This was quite possible the worst restaurant meal I have been served in many years. The description read Jumbo Shrimp on pasta with a spicy Creole seasoning. I received 4-1/2 shrimp of the 24-36 count size, at least 2 lbs of pasta somewhat clumped together in a large mass. Was very greasy and although it had a Creole color, it had absolutely NO flavor. This is not going to be a favorite of mine...

Our waitress was excellent. Prompt and friendly. She made sure we never needed for anything. Food was on point as well. Wife loved the butterfish entree and my shrimp was delicious. Win Win!!!

So delicious! It was my first visit. I had the butterfish topped with creamy spinach and lump crab (daily special), asparagus and green beans. Very good. Excellent service as well. I look forward to visiting again!

Bonefish is always an enjoyable meal and a drink. Attentive but not overbearing service, tasty fish from the fish and chips to the new "poke" bowl. If you're just up for a drink at the bar, it's a great place as well with a assortment of mixed drinks and beers on tap. It can get noisy when it's crowded.

Jennifer was an outstanding server, very friendly, attentive and full of energy. Bang bang shrimp was AMAZING, thanks to her for recommending it. Lobster tails dinner was perfect. Very clean environment and friendly staff that exhibits great teamwork.

Had ordered unsweetened tea and he brought sweet tea. After several times of asking he finally got the tea ( after the appetizers). The restaurant was not busy but took 1 hour to get our food. We asked for the bill and it took 20 minutes to get it. We have always had good food and service until now.

We placed an online order for three meals and were extremely disappointed. There were key ingredients missing and the portions were abysmally small. I took pictures of my sides and the “bowl” of soup they provided. Honestly, a kid’s meal would have had larger portions. I was actually astonished that anyone would’ve thought what we were served was acceptable. I would NOT recommend ordering take out from this location. Very disappointing and a complete waste of our money.

My fiance and I went here tonight 12/29/2023 for a date night. As soon as we entered the hostess and her friends were giving us dirty looks and talking about us while we were passing them to get to our table. We waited for about 10-15 minutes to get someone to take our order even though they were looking at us the whole time. I looked over to the back and there was a group standing there and one man was talking so loud I could hear him from the back of the restaurant. Our card got declined because we forgot to unlock it and they were laughing in the back . Whole time we got laughed at us and stared at. Very unacceptable service.
