I stayed at the Hilton while attending a conference in the area. I expected better from a Hilton. The staff was courteous and the lobby is nice, spacious and comfortable. However, the bedroom was very outdated, especially the bathroom. There was dust, the wallpaper was peeling, no active ventilation and the tub was clogged. There is a serious need of remodel for a fresh modern look. The bed was comfortable but that's a about it. I also think that for the price of the hotel, they could offer a free water bottle and a buffet style breakfast, at the very least. Very average hotel.

Decided to take a trip down to Knoxville, and chose to stay at the Hilton. Staff was friendly and very accommodating even before I arrived in Tennessee. The front desk was personable and very nice to talk to both in-person and over the phone. I was on the 12th floor, and didn't experience any issues with the elevators. The room was very clean and included all necessary toiletries. I opted not to use housekeeping during my 3-night stay, and was given 1,000 Hilton points for doing so. The room came with a mini fridge, but no microwave. One downside was that I was able to hear EVERYTHING going on in the hallway, which wasn't pleasant when housekeeping would be talking in the hallway or when a group was chatting amongst themselves. Regardless, I would definitely stay here next time!

Had a one night stay over during the Holidays - we arrived on Christmas Day... late - and was pleasantly greeted when we walked in. The person at the desk was very nice and got us checked in right away. The room was clean and nice, a little bit small compared to other contemporary hotels, but we were only staying one night and have had worse. The location was great, close to the freeway, but in a great area of downtown. We did not stay long but were able to walk not to far away for breakfast. Quick a nice little neighborhood.

My company booked the room because The location was great, but the hotel definitely needs to be remodeled. I had a handicap accessible room that smelt like dog and smoke , the shower nozzle was broken and gorilla glued on the wall.It was 20° outside and there was no heat in my room so I had to go downstairs several times because there was no phone in the room to call the front desk. We normally like this brand, but we will not book this again.

12/28/23 - We booked a one-night stay at the Hilton last minute. We booked two (2) nights at the Marriott but after checking in we realized the room was in bad shape. We decided to cancel the second night and headed to the Hilton. The Hilton also needed some upkeep. The picture frame in the bathroom fell and glass broke everywhere. The bathtub drain stopper was dirty and the sink didn't drain properly. The rest of the room was great, clean and tidy. Customer service was great at the front desk. We hope you will please consider our comments and make some improvements. As a family, we give our stay at this Hilton a 4. Thanks.

This location had a beautiful lobby. The front desk agents greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcome. As for my actual stay in the room. The hotel might as well could have been a horror house. The walls are so paper thin and you can hear the person if every room breathing, walking, packing, hanging up clothes even. If you’re a light sleeper or require absolute silence to get to sleep and stay asleep this may not be the place for you. I paid $150 for the room before tax and would not consider it worth it. Not a very comfortable nights sleep. Definitely not what I was expecting!

The hotel is right downtown and has easy access to the walkway for the convention center. Valet parking was great as our truck is oversized for some garages. The valets brought it to us to put in our luggage and then back again when we were ready to leave from the convention center. We had to call twice to get linen for the pull out couch as it wasn't in the closet bag. Also, because of a poor design, we ended up not being able to use the bed. If you pull out the sofa bed, it is against the king-size bed, and the person sleeping on that side can't get out. We had to just cover the couch in the linens. Thankfully, our daughter isn't very large or tall. They need at least a foot more room between them to allow everyone to be able to get up at night. Breakfast was ok, but I actually prefer when Hilton has a buffet. I like more choices at a good price. The Hilton at Alexandria has a great buffet. I got country ham and it was definitely not of the "country" variety. It was a thick slice of regular ham with a fair bit of fat and wasn't even remotely warm. My husband asked for extras syrup and waited so long that he just ate his French toast without it. My daughter loved her French toast.

My stay at the Hilton was ok. I arrived late and was very tired from the long flight. I notice my room had a bad smell, I had a hard time sleeping. I found black stuff on the walls. The next morning I was able to switch to a new room. Staff was great. Restroom was to small, beds were uncomfortable. Dining staff were very nice. And cleaning ladies were great as well. Elevators stop working while I was there. My digital key card didn’t work most of the time. Only great experience was the staff interaction.

The hotel is lacking severely in amenities and services. I had more than one rude interaction with their hospitality staff. Their internet coverage is average at best, and their restaurant was consistently on a wait even with 5-7 open tables. As someone that stays in a hotel for 12-15 days per month, this definitely left a bad taste with me for the Hilton brand and I will never be staying here again.

Great hotel! The staff was exceptional, kind and knowledgeable, even with being overwhelmed due to an unexpected snow storm! The rooms were clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable as well. We were very pleased and will stay again next year.

This hotel was nice, clean, and everyone there was super nice and helpful! Traveling half way across the country we needed a nice and clean place to stay with our 4 month old and this is exactly what we got! The ladies at the front desk were amazing with helping us and everyone was so nice! The location gave a beautiful view on the higher floor we were on and has amazing food around! And it’s old 15 minutes from the Knoxville zoo!

While on business, I had a chance to experience the Hilton Knoxville for the first time. The staff, bartender, and valet service were top-notch. I'm not an "outside" person, but that didn't stop me from enjoying their outside bar. Check-in and Check out were effortless, and the room was clean with a breathtaking view of downtown. If you're like me and need to bring tons of bags, don't worry, they make accommodations for your to drop your things in your room and park in the adjoining parking lot. The location is close to all the restaurants (within walking distance) and down the street from most of the businesses, one would frequently need to go to during the workday. I will visit again when I am in town. They strike a perfect balance of business-friendly and relaxation-ready.

Positive: Very friendly staff, the room was clean and with a good fridge. Good location. Negative: Small bathroom and no disposable cups for mouthwash available. Curtains did not close completely. Parking lot visuals are confusing.

Jackson and Jesse at the valet were wonderful! Jackson remembered that I was here for a game, and asked how it went. That type of customer service is thoughtful and appreciated. The room was great, and super comfortable. I will be back!

Scammed by their parking garage! I don't go downtown often and was going to try to park here. There was no gate or attendant and I didn't see the signs until I got inside that they were charging $20 event parking and had an automated phone pay system. I also found out from reading these reviews that if I just rolled through the garage without paying through the app (even if I just entered and exited without parking!) They would not only send me a bill but also a $30 traffic ticket, curteousy of the KPD!!! Not wanting to risk getting ticketed, I returned to the garage on foot (after parking elsewhere) to pay the $20 event fee. Hilton, thanks for nothing and enjoy your 20 dollars. >:P Don't park here. Don't even enter their parking garage, this parking place is predatory!

Overall, I'd rate it a 3.5 out of 5. Stayed here for 3 nights. They are renovating the rooms and it looks nice. No microwave in the room is definitely bad. Why give guests a refrigerator and no way to heat up what they put in the refrigerator??? The Starbucks and Marble City Kitchen are both very well run, and my wife and I enjoyed both. Very friendly staff here. It was decent, but they definitely need to rethink a few things.

My issues arose a few days after checking out. I paid for nightly garage parking with the hotel but was given multiple parking tickets charged to my card. I contacted the hotel four times to correct these fines, and the staff agreed that they were in the wrong but that never resulted in a refund. I'm disappointed in what was otherwise a positive experience for my four-night stay since the rooms and location were great. Just beware of incorrect charges and a lack of follow-through from staff here, particularly concerning parking.

The hotel was in a great location the rooms were nice and the hotel was clean. The only thing I was unsatisfied with was the customer service in the restaurant. We sat down at the bar and wasn't even acknowledged for several minutes when there was no one else there. Finally the bartender Melinda came to get our drink order she was very rude like she was mad because we came in there. She had a bad attitude the whole time needless to say we had one drink and left because of her.

This is an old Hilton Hotel. I was here for a work conference, and not all of the rooms are updated. Only floors 16 and up. The rest of the rooms are pretty much like a Holiday Inn. The location is fire! It is close to other restaurants in Market Square. There is a Starbucks in the lobby. One day for a short while, the elevators stopped working entirely. That was inconvenient as I am currently pregnant. The customer service is amazing!

This was perfect! I had a great time with my family while visiting for a show. Matt, Jaden, and Trevor took great care of my car. Carmen and Krista at the front desk were AMAZING! Helped me get my things and out to my car while I took care of my two small boys.

We stayed recently here. Rooms were super nice. It was located very convenient with plenty of restaurants nearby and even a farms market all in walking distance. My only complaint is their fire alarm is not very loud at all. A vendor truck hit the building and broke a gas line. In which they had to evacuate us. Which was fine but the alarm was not very loud and if I had not gotten up to use the restroom I would not have heard it.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at! I checked in with the app and was able to enter the parking deck with no problems. My room was spacious and clean. The television worked great and it was a short walk to the convention center. I didn’t like the closet because it was too low to the ground and barely fit my garment bags due to the safe taking up a large amount of space. My refrigerator wasn’t working so I messaged the front desk and they had someone come and swap it out very quickly. The only other complaint is that they need to update the menu for the Firefly on their website because I had my mouth all set for the Salmon Power Bowl only to be told that had been discontinued. The chicken pesto flatbread I ordered instead was delicious though. The staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.

Was a nice stay and overall pleasant experience. Lots of noise though, but not due to the facility, just where it is located in Knoxville. The restaurant on premise isn't bad, I enjoyed the food, but having an option to have breakfast included in the room would have been nice. Parking isn't included, which is par for the course for the urban locations, but still something I would like to see.

Will stay here next time I have to travel to Knoxville. I had a suite..very large space..king bed with fantastic linens, king sized pillows that were very nice. I was so snuggled in and comfortable. Had a living space with couch. Table and chair. Bathroom was great with good soaps. On site garage parking with valet and security. Staff very professional and polite.

My 9 year old niece stayed here during a dance competition. My review is more about the attention I received while ordering amenity for her - worth the recognition. Elise Pratt went above her way to ensure a positive experience not just for me but for my niece. I ordered some fruit, cookies and a meat/cheese platter. Elise made sure delivery would be done right on time to ensure everything was fresh. She even recruited a colleague to write my message on a card in a clear and fun way. Thank you Elise.

Love this hotel. Spacious rooms. Great city views. Employees are always friendly and helpful. Safe and within .5 mi walking distance of restaurants and shops. Go for the valet parking, so worth it. This is our go to hotel when in Knoxville .

Not a 4 star hotel. Maybe they can technically justify saying that when the Oliver nearby *doesn’t*, but they are in quality a 3 star hotel with sub-par room quality you’d expect from a nicer 2 star hotel. A couple surfaces having granite doesn’t change actual overall quality. The photos make it seem much nicer than it is. In terms of the actual rooms I’ve stayed in many nicer bigger motel rooms. Lobby is great. There’s an outdoor pool that’s ok, but so do many motels. It checks a box. There’s a safe in the room. Valet parking. Room quality and size matters. Until the actual rooms match the quality they attempt to portray, don’t get the idea your going to get an experience of a luxury hotel. They’re trying to claim by saying 4 star that they’re in the same category as a Ritz-Carlton which is laughable. Besides the lobby and maybe restaurants they’re in the same category as a Holiday Inn.

Loved how I can open my room through the Hilton app. You can skip the front desk when checking in. However, the front desk was extremely helpful when I needed something. Location is perfect. You can walk to many bars and restaurants and attractions in under 20 minutes. Fitness center is a lot better than most hotels. Swimming pool is also very clean and has a nice view of the sphere. Everyone from the valet, the front desk clerks, the people in room service and the hosts and servers at the Marble City restaurant were so polite and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel!

We recently stayed here for a conference. I brought my 10 year old twins. I have to say it has been a while since I've seen the consistency of excellent customer service I saw in every aspect of this hotel. My twins had a great time playing cornhole. There was live music on the weekend and the food was good. Highly recommend and we will stay here again.

We had a lovely stay here! The hotel staff were very friendly. Our room was very clean and in great shape! Parking was super easy to come and go in a busy city! The restaurant, The Marble City Kitchen, was fantastic - great food and great service!

Card readers at front desk did not work the entire time I was there. Internet did not work most of the time I was there. I had to fight with the hotel, and they would not grant me a conference group rate despite signing up through the conference website. Room was old, smelled musty, and some black mold and staining was visible growing on the bathroom wall (see attached photos). Overall, a terrible experience. I would much rather stay at a Marriot. At least when I have a problem at a Marriot hotel, they are quick to jump in and ensure your needs are met. Marriot hotels also usually include breakfast. The only redeeming factor is of this hotel is a good location.

Got a room on the Executive level because I read great reviews about the rooms and the lounge up there. Welllll, it was closed. The room was average. TV was shot. It has 8 white dots in center of screen, couldn't show picture correctly. The first floor was freezing! Had to go down there for Starbucks in the lobby because the Executive lounge was closed. Turns out I should have just got the regular room I originally booked. Staff was great though!! Dinner at Marble City was delicious and the server was amazing. Not happy Hilton.

The restaurant is fantastic with great service! Everyone at the front desk is very nice and helpful. The room was comfortable, quiet and clean. Very easy walk to the Tennessee Theater. The Starbucks inside the hotel was a great plus.

My second least favorite Hilton (the first being Atlanta). First the good: This hotel was in an excellent location, close to the highway and within walking distance of several excellent restaurants. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and water pressure was excellent. The bad: This hotel no longer has an executive lounge, despite having executive level rooms and being advertised as such. The hotel is not well maintained, especially the floor we were on, 4. The parking deck elevator, house phone, and ice maker on 4 were all out of service. Traffic noise on our floor was significant. I was woken up by loud sirens at 2:30 AM. Our check-in experience was poor. The front desk agent was abrasive and unhelpful. I was not greeted or acknowledged as a Diamond member. There were multiple lines, but no clear organization, which made me wait longer unnecessarily. The ridiculous, complicated, and burdensome rules regarding the parking garage were a source of aggravation. Given the option, I would much rather stay at the Conrad nearby, which appears to have much nicer amenities and was the same price during my stay. Barring that, I would choose a different brand over this hotel.

Nice hotel, walking distance to some good restaurants. Has a Starbucks inside, pool outside, game room for kids near lobby. Downfall was having to pay $22 dollars a night to park. I overheard another guest say the parking garage was not owned by the hotel, so I guess that's the reason... but it still sucks paying money to stay and extra money to park. That said, at least the garage leads to a covered walkway in case of rain. They have a valet, but we didn't use it or need it. Rooms were clean as well.

This hotel is ideally located in the center of Knoxville. Everything is within walking distance, and with all there is to see, you will definitely want to walk. The rooms are large and clean. Nice views of the city, and they’re pet friendly. Really enjoyed the stay and would recommend to everyone.

Let me start off by saying that I stay in many different hotels all over due to my work...and I have to say that my experience at this Hilton was nothing but top notch! From the moment I pulled up (on my motorcycle no less) everyone was extremely friendly and very professional! The valet personnel were extremely helpful with watching my bags while I went and parked. The front desk were some of the nicest people you will ever meet! Kind, courteous, and professional from start to finish! The room was beautiful...and everything in the building is fantastic! Their gym was one of the nicest and most complete that I've had the pleasure of working out in on travel! The restaurant/bar is AMAZING! Their draft beer selection and bourbons couldn't be beat! Breakfast and dinner were both simply delicious!!!!!! The hotel is also located in the heart of Knoxville so I was able to simply walk to the various districts for entertainment, food, and of course drinks! I cannot stress it enough...if you are visiting Knoxville you MUST check out this amazing property!!! I will definitely visit again!

We planned a reception in their ballroom and Becky was our coordinator / contact. She and all of her staff were awesome! Throughout the whole planning process, Becky really helped us organize and prepare. And on the day of, she made sure that everything went smoothly. We ordered the food through their kitchen and it was delicious! We can't thank her and the staff enough for a great night. I would highly recommend hosting an event with them.
