One of Knoxville’s hidden gems - a true local joint. Family owned with amazing sandwiches, soups, ice cream, and homemade desserts. Fresh salads daily with some of the best egg salad around. Really reasonable prices and friendly service.

Great catering too! Kim prepared lunch for a baby shower at my office. The food was delicious and prepared with fresh ingredients without too much salt or oil. Everything was tasty and portions were plentiful. We were able enjoy lunch the next day with the leftovers. Have I mentioned the cupcakes? Chocolate with buttercream frosting 😋Scrumptious! They were so good, I ordered them for a dinner party I was hosting a week later.

Came here with a group of about 10. We asked if we could turn a table around for our group so we could sit together. Lady working the grill made an ugly face but didn’t say no. Was rude to everyone during ordering. Parmesan cheese for the bland soup was almost a dollar. Then when we were done, some of the ladies getting more drinks, same lady told us to clean up our table and use the bus tubs in the other room, again with another ugly look. The food was ok but forget getting any kind of basic politeness from this lady. Seriously bad attitude. Acted like we were inconveniencing her by spending our money here. I won’t be back. Food wasn’t good enough to put up with that nonsense.

The wife and I have tried this place a few times now and we have always enjoyed our experience. Their menu is unique with lots of variations on grilled cheese. My wife loves the Slim Shady and I like the Breakfast All Day. Don't let the location and exterior fool you, the food here is delicious. Give it a try!

Don’t just walk, RUN to this cafe!! I came when it first opened and haven’t been in a few years until Friday. Was so good I had to go twice in a week! Pictured is the TBR, I also got the Esteban. Seriously so delicious. I’ve been too full to try the ice cream but that will definitely be on my list!

I eat lunch there about once a week. Unique sandwiches based on the grilled cheese, but there are traditional deli options also. The soups are homemade and delicious. Best chicken tortilla soup I've ever had. The service is quick, and prices are fair for fresh ingredients. The seating is quiet and you can actually have a normal toned conversation while you eat, without having to hear a dozen TVs or noisy restaurant sounds. They also have ice cream, but Ive not had any yet.

I was in west Knoxville looking for a bite to eat and came across "It's So Yummy Cafe." What a delightful little shop. The menu of sandwiches and salads is quite extensive, and everything is prepared to order. I had the best turkey and ham club I have ever had. The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was great. From what I understand, they serve their own homemade ice cream, and though I didn't try any this time, I will certainly stop in again the next time I am in the area and give it a try.

Great cafe, nice staff, you get free drinks with your meal, enough food to fill you up, what more could you want!

How awesome is it to find a restaurant that serves grilled pb & j and a grilled spaghetti sandwich! Soooo good! Adding this place to my list of go to places to eat when we visit TN!

Fair. The ice cream was moderately okayish, I guess. Ice cream had some frozen crystals and gritty sugar. It's definitely like a rookie homemade recipe. Expected more for the hype I had heard. Seems to be a family run business. Maybe they're tired of running it now - as evidenced by stressed communication between the people working in there. They're not allowing in-restaurant consumption. All the chairs were up on the tables, and the signs said no sit-down service. Probably would be a good time for an ownership change. The prices are ~20% higher than listed on the chalkboard on the wall. So that surprised us, too, when they rang it up... Then haven't bothered to re-do the chalk writing in the board...

Take a look at the menu boards pictured below and see how delicious it all is. They have whats called moo Monday’s where you get a great deal on scoops of ice cream, which just makes mondays better! The tomato soup is fantastic stop by for lunch sometime soon

We enjoyed our visit. The homemade ice cream was definitely my favorite! The food was good and I've never been able to make a Spaghetti sandwich that held together as well as they did. Apparently the dining room closes at 3. They started putting chairs up at 2. Even though they said not to rush, it definitely felt like we needed to.

I had the 'spaghetti sandwich' and my friend had the club sandwich. Both were delicious. Prices are great. Good portions too. She also had the Little Debbie Xmas tree ice cream and raved about it. I'll definitely be back!

I got a deli style turkey sandwich which was around $10. Honestly, it was the best sandwich I’ve ever had. The bread was crispy and soft, they loaded my sandwich with plenty of the toppings. The staff is super nice and helpful. The perfect place for an at home feel. Will definitely be coming back!

We went to the sneak preview of their new Meat and Two dinner last week. Everything was delicious! You can dine-in, call ahead and they'll bring it to your car, or come in and pick up. They also have a nightly salad bar that we really enjoyed. This is a really convenient way to feed the family quality food, on a budget, when time is short.

Maybe the workers had a rough lunch hour. They were not friendly campers. I tried to lighten the mood but it didn't work. Then I asked for a sample of the ice cream as we were trying to decide on the flavor we wanted to purchase. The sample barely covered the VERY tip of the spoon and I couldn't even taste the flavor. We made our order and were ready to get out of the uncomfortable environment. Then we made it to the car to eat the ice cream. It for sure didn't make up for the experience inside the store! It was icy and tasted maybe freezer burnt? The only way I can describe it. We threw it away. Ate here a total of 3 times and Won't go back.
