It is a good resturant. The location is superb. It is on one side of Knysna lagoon. It has nice tables with a view to the lake. In front of the resturant a nice and secure childern playground (may be it is the best childern playground in whole Knysna). Friendly staff. The area a round the resturant is Thesen Island commercial area which is the luxury commercial area in Knysna. I think it is the safest place in Knysna at night. I order 2 Americano coffee only (I did not eat or drink anything else). The Americano coffee was good but the cup is too small. It is the smallest coffee cup I have ever seen in Knysna resturants/coffee shops (this is why I put 4* in the rating). I hoped that their coffee cup is bigger.

We had seen this spot on quite a few travel blogs with great reviews and we were not disappointed. The food was amazing - one of the best burgers we had eaten in a while. Coincidentally we visited when it was half price off the sushi which was such a bonus! Great atmosphere... friendly, efficient service from our waitor. We didn't have to wait long for our meals ... they come out of the kitchen as soon as they were prepared. A must visit spot if you are visiting the beautiful Thesen Island ♡

We frequent Knysna often and can confidently say that this is one of our local favourite hangouts! Phenomenal service, food and drinks are underscored by the fantastic vibe and views. Plenty of fun to be had by the kids in the big play area that keeps them busy while the grown ups have a well-deserved break to take it all in with family and friends.

This is a fantastic restaurant. Or should I call it a bar and restaurant. Whatever it is, it’s amazing! The atmosphere and the vibes, combine it with the location and if you sit outside facing the deck and the lagoon, it’s just amazing The food and the waiters are just as great. I would advise this place for any group of people, or as myself who went alone. It is great The burgers are delicious and the prices are quite good considering the area

Such a shame the food was terrible and not only that the prices are sky high! For a restaurant thats right next to the sea I would expect better prices. Also portions are a joke! Have a look at my Pizzas that costs R80+ that their adult version btw The atmosphere and service was very good, they take "pride" in vaccinated staff. Maybe its more of a drinking vibe?

Loved the food and staff but the loud music and football on the big screens just wasn't my style. The only reason for 4 stars. The Seafood Paella was so tasty and full of seafood. The onion rings were the best I've eaten. The prawn in garlic butter were great and such good value. Definitely worth a visit!

Amazing food to enjoy. Go on a non windy day. Order the tequila that they have. Very nice to have.

Amazing vibe. Oysters were awesome. Great music and lots of seating inside and out. Big and safe playing areas for the kids allow mom and dad to chill with oysters and champagne. The beautiful view over the lagaaon outside makes the ambience even better. All the staff are friendly and ready to help. Highly recommend the tapas - Lol

Great vibey Spot with ample tables and even a place to let your kiddies loose while Dad can enjoy sports on big screen TV. With great selection of beers on tap and yummy nachos.. don't forget to order their gourmet oysters. They are the absolute best in knysna

It's a wonderful concept for friends and family to have fun and share a meal. It's affordable and adventure dining in a lovely setting. Try the Gorgonzola oysters! It's worth writing home about!!!

Had a beautiful birthday dinner with my family, and the food was fantastic. The service was a bit lacking if you sit on the deck, but other than that, seemingly friendly staff. Will definitely be returning when we pass through again

What an amazing restaurant, our waitress Aviwe was stunning. Knows her product and menu very well.

Food and drinks are really expensive when compared to the portions. The cocktails are even more expensive than Sun City's. Waiter just disappeared and never came back. Manager was very helpful at least. The place has a nice view and atmosphere but definitely not worth a second visit.

Live music unbelievable, fantastic atmosphere and location. Our waiter Mzu, really lovely, but unfortunate overly long wait for food. Found the prices elevated, but this is Thesen island, the location is absolutely stunning. Fantastic front of house and staff, food alright - amazing musician. A lovely evening.

Delicious Oysters and try out possibilities, a very friendly and efficient service and a great lookout over the harbour. We enjoyed it a lot and will keep the Oyster testing experience!

Really cool laid back spot with views of the water. Menu is exactly as the restaurant name says. And that's a good thing. Super oysters and tapas to boot. There was some live music playing which added to the ambiance. Food was take away tapas. Chilli prawns, poppers, mussels, sardines. All fantastic! While waiting for our takeaway food we had oysters. Fresh and delicious! Another one to add to the list of must visit places. Oh, and our waiters were so good. Much respect.

Stunning place with majestic views great food and speedy service.

Good vibes. Very fast kitchen service. Abit pricey but the quality of the food is amazing so we were happy to treat ourselves to a nice meal. A few waiters looked worn out and were grumpy but we understood it can be hard in the festive season so it didn't bug us.

Great outdoors and indoors, perfect sunset vibe, live music on certain nights, plenty cocktails to enjoy and don't forget the tequilas, along the water. It was a great night out and one to remember,

Great vibe for a party and going there with friends. Tapas portions are great for tasing a few things but food is average.

It was our first time visiting and I can tell you it won't be our last. From start to finish everything was top notch, service, food, staff and they even strict with the covid regulations, I think all establishments could learn a thing or two regarding that from you guys.. Can't wait to be back for another round of cold ones.

Second visit, as great as the first. Excellent setting on Thesen island. #tweequila themed venue has fun and uplifting vibe with great food and beverages. Great for young and old to get together for some festive food and chatter experiences. Staff are friendly and service ......top notch. Will definitely repeat visit!
