Foods amazing as usual, definitely authentic Indian. However it could be cleaner. There was so much stains on the table cloths cause they give the food in a tiny bowl and it ends up spilling on the table cloths anyway so all the old fatty marks were on there already. Also there's only 1 waiter who actually knows what his doing, the other people are clueless. Also the milkshake is terrible! It takes like something you'd mix for your kid with milk and lots of sugar, I was literally chewing on sugar. Love the food though.. I'll keep coming back for it.. the PE branch is definitely a 5stars compared to this

Even though the service was long and the place is very simple and rudimentary, the food was excellent and the staff extremely friendly! Would totally recommend if you want to have delicious Indian food. As you’ll notice, many Indian people come here to have lunch or dinner!

Fabulous food. Seriously delicious. Wonderfully friendly staff. Food came out fast. Price seems normal. Starters, plus mains plus drinks, plus tip, R320 - for two people. Many vegetarian options! Bowls are empty because it was so good, we couldn't help but finish it.

Food was good. Menu states it is halal although not Muslim owned. Most of the meat in the region does have a halal source anywau and unless you are ultra strict this is one of the very few places where halal food can be found

The food was decently good as compared to it's competitor on the opposite side of the road i.e mumbai cafe.. ambience is quite soothing and food had a desi taste to it and looking at very limited choice for indian food in knysna then this is like a water to a thirsty person.. Tandoori chicken is flavorful and people who are new to indian cuisine will love tandoori chicken at this place...apart from it, Dal was too thick which i told them to make it a bit watery so they told me that they will look into improving it...good place all in all..:)

Service was very poor. Waiter claimed he was new and wasn't trained. That doesn't excuse him not smiling when waiting on us. He was also confused about the menu. The set menu was not available to us but the couple next to us was able to order from the set menu. He did not check if we needed more drinks, did not once check if our food was okay. And neither did the manager check on us as well. We ordered the lamb vindaloo and chicken tikka. The former was average and the latter was was bad. Very dry and not tasty or spicy enough(we ordered the hot chicken tikka)

Food Quality is not at all good. I have tried all sort of India Restaurant’s in South Africa. This is one of the worst

We had the food delivered to our B&B and I can honestly say that the food is really well done. We called and spoke to the chef Deepak and he recommended the dishes we ordered; Chicken Tikka Masala, Methi Chicken, Dal Tadka, Aloo Palak, Mutter Paneer, Jeera Rice and Paratha’s. The food came hot and was very very reasonably priced. The spice levels were just right and the ingredients seemed good quality I will confidently rate this as excellent Indian food in Knysna.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ I enjoyed my time and food at 34 Degrees South. If you sit outside, you get treated to awesome views too of what can be described like Venice. Towards the latter part of the day, you'll see a gorgeous South African sunset (if there are no clouds). I had some wine by the glass, one of the few places...
