A great spot if you are a fan of Observatories. We went using the Osaka amazing 2 day pass! We went during the day on Sunday before noon it was really not busy. The tower itself is beautiful and when a top the views are stunning even around noon. You can see over the entire city then some! Highly recommend with the 2 day pass.

Date: 15 Oct - 30 Oct, 3018 Good: • Great view of the area which includes the Osaka Harbour and the colourful Tempozan Ferris Wheel. • Marvellous view of the sunset. • Free if you have the Osaka Amazing Pass. Bad: • Very poor arrangement of the glass windows which reflects all the signages and ceiling lights into your camera at every location of the observation deck. • Long walk from nearest train station to the tower. Overall: I saw the sunset but I was disappointed that I couldn't take any nice photos because of the reflections. There were reflections of the signages and the ceiling lights everywhere! These are very obvious in the evening and at night. Very disappointing especially after I had walked quite a distance from the Cosmo Square Station to the tower. As long as you are not taking photos but merely enjoying the night view and the sunset, then it's worth going there. Else, not recommended or go during the daytime.

I visited the observatory in this tower because I happen to be staying at the hotel next to it. I have been to better ones around Japan so this doesn't really impress me. It is a rather small but quiet. A good view of the ferries wheel at the Osaka port area. Good to visit if you are around the area for the amazing night view but I wouldn't recommend going out of the way to visit this.

Thanks for giving free access for people who bought osaka amazing pass. Need to walk from trade center mae station. 52th floor is really high. Not to many people here so i can enjoy 360 degree of secenery arround this building. Highly recomended! You also can enjoy tempozan ferris wheel near here for free if you have osaka amazing pass. I bought for the 2 day osaka amazing pass. Also Get free ride for the train

Nice building for goverment offices. Spacious lobby. Observation deck located at 55th floor. Visitor has to use lift upto 52th floor and continue by escalator.

Wonderful view. So glad I visited here. It is one of the free visit under Amazing Osaka pass. Few people and great view 360 degree.

Best observatory tower in Osaka. Not crowded. Best time to come is for sunset.

You get an amazing view from the top. It is a reasonable price and the best thing is that because it is slightly out of the way there was hardly anyone else there when i went.

From the 51th floor you can view on going construction site of Osaka expo 2025.....155 hectre island is man made

Seems like good location to stay if atttending a convention in the area (it was a 10-minute walked to the Intex center where I was working) or USJ (to where there is a shuttle bus I believe). Otherwise not a great location and rather sterile with little to do after dark. Food options seems to be limited to the food court and cafes in the ATC center which is nearby. The interior design is a little gaudy but my room was spacious. I didn't do much other than take shower and sleep so the lack of western style seating mentioned by others was not an issue. The big tatami mat area by the window could actually be very welcome to people with young children. The bed was nice and firm and I slept really well. Helped by the fact that I was one person in a twin room so could use two pillows. Water was unfortunately provided in a plastic PET bottle. Nice to have ceramic cups (no coffee provided so take you own if that is an essential kick starter for you!)
