A place like Paprika is an oasis in this desert of options. We got brought a plate by mistake so we were able to try three mains and each was top notch. All the necessary Japanese flair was there in the preparation and execution of each of the dishes we had. One of the best meals we've had in Japan so far!

Always went there with carnivorous friend. They like it. It is fulfilling and tasty. I will suggest going for the basic : pasta and rice. Thought perhaps for people used to Japan white rice it couvd be dry, so in that case go for pasta or sauce dish.

Second time here and got the faux eel at wife's request. Apparently super close to the real thing. Definitely fishy and pretty tasty, but a bit sweet for me. Also got a couple burgers. First time trying omnipork and was very impressed. Again, a little too sweet in the teriyaki for me, but very good. Also got the earth meat? Tastier sandwich imo, but not really a burger. Could use a bbq sauce. Cant recommend the soy cheese sauce which was very bland.

My food taste good but the gluten free noodles were under cooked and the sparkling wine didn’t sparkle. The fries were great. Id give it another chance. My friend tells me it’s hit or miss sometimes. But my options are limited to gluten free only so i cant speak on the rest of the menu.

I wanted to check out this restaurant which was highly rated on google maps, and wasn’t disappointed at all. You have a lunch, dinner and drink menu, so I got lunch for the time of my visit. In spite of being close to the last hour, staff was very kind and seated me after a moment of checking. I got the lunch set with soy kaarage meat, coffee and tofu cheesecake. The lunch set is plentiful, and I can’t tell you how good the cheesecake was, as good as the one I had in Kyoto in the Daimaru cafe. The atmosphere is friendly, and another friend of mine I met in another highly rated restaurant was there, testifying for the quality. You can also pay with IC card. Overall good service, kind staff and good vegan food, recommended visit!

The food was absolutely delicious! I got an omni meat burger with extra jalapeno and cheese sauce (definitely recommend the cheese sauce). My friend got locomoco with soy burger. I would say onmni burger has better texture, it's more crisp and a bit more chewy, I found soy burger too soft. Both portions were great. I was a bit upset about the fact that the burger comes with no side of fries or salad and you have to order them separately... The stuff for me jalapeno sauce for my burger too! We also split a baked tofu cheesecake... Well, it tasted very strong of tofu, so I'd get something different next time.

Unfortunately when we went the service was exceptionally slow (50 min wait), as there was only one chef cooking - to be honest, the kitchen is very small so I don't know if they can have more than one chef so not sure if the wait is normal. The food was okay - certainly good value and very fresh. The tempeh set was nicely seasoned and the tempeh - which is really hard to get right - was cooked nicely and was filling. On the night we went the food was nice but there was something "missing" we couldn't quite put our finger on. It was lovely and glad I went and supported the business, but it wasn't my favourite unfortunately.

They have a lot of options on their menu (meal sets, bowls, tapas, pasta’s and pizza’s) and different variations of delicious prepared soymeat! Loved the atmosphere and the staff was very friendly. Also the dessert was sooo good (especially the tofu baked cheesecake!) - and everything 100% vegan!! Would highly recommend!!
