Visited the much talked about Kashi Art Cafe and I was impressed. People who say Kashi is overpriced, should definitely recheck their portion size. It's such huge portions they serve and the quality of the ingredients used is just too good. Tried the herb cheese sandwich, iced tea, lemonade and the must order chocolate cake. The sandwich was huge, the bread was nice, toasty and had a nice height. The cheese filling with the herbs in it was cheesey and yum! Loved every bit of it. The ice teas and lemonade couldn't be made any better. The chocolate was just sinful! The chocolate sauce, the moistness of the cake, everything was to die for. I might visit Kashi just for the cake. The ambience is also pretty cool.

Even though it is a nice place to enjoy lovely breakfast, I was utterly disappointed when I asked for their spinach and aubergine lasagna at noon, the dark colour sauce on top just made me wonder why they call it lasagna when it is a very simple Italian Traditional dish based on tomatoes sauce, veggie filling, bechamel and cheese on top. In this case please don't call it lasagna, but veggie baked pasta. Simple!! And when I asked to just removed that sauce, the staff just said that it the way they prepare this dish. Again please don't call the name of a very well known dish when you clearly don't know the principles of a basic traditional lasagna. Sorry guys but I couldn't eat it.😏

Great place to have breakfast from! Their English breakfast was at par... Really loved the way they presented their dish. French toast was perfectly cooked and the whipped cream as a side dish to it was yummy too. Cold espresso with ice cream stole my heart. A must visit place when you are in Fort Kochi. The place also has lots of artistic works and it's a perfect place for photoshoots!!! The dishes are a bit on the expensive side though. Overall, it was worth the money and was a great start for the day with their breakfast choices.

Situated at the heart of Fort Kochi, nice cozy place to spend some quality time with your friends and family. The moment you enter the cafe, you get a glimpse of the art, Kochi is famous for. The prices are commensurate to the quality of the food and the ambiance/vibe of the place. The crowd is lovely here. The staff is friendly and responsive. Food presentation is awesome. Do try their Grilled Lobster with rice. Given the quality of the food and the cafe getting a full grilled lobster with rice and veggies at just ₹650 is a deal you won't get anywhere I think in entire India. Also try their Honey drink. It's different, it's tasty, it's refreshing. When in Kochi this place is a no brainer. Full marks to everything and a meal etched in memory.

This was my first time in kochi. We choose this place because it has a lot of reviews with good ratings. I'll take about the positives first, the interiors, ambience and just the overall vibe of the cafe is immaculate. You'll definitely know that there was a lot of thought put into the decor and every corner has an amazing aesthetic. Coming to the food and the service there can be a lot of improvements. We ordered a burger, the herb and cheese sandwich and a side of pita bread. The food tastes decent but isn't something to wow about. It took about 35 minutes for the food to arrive. The cafe seems to be catering to a different set of tourists and foreigners.

I happened to visit this place twice for breakfast. They unfortunately have limited veg options before 12. I tried vegan breaky which was actually so damn delicious. Their almond milk coffee was not that great. Fruit juices were good too! We also had granola jar and mushroom spinach cheese omlet and oh boy it was all loaded. Their plate size is huge so when trying new things maybe just order 1 first. Staff is good. The place is pretty cozy and nice as well. Overall a good place for food and definitely the ambience. Try to go after 12 and you will be able to explore their entire menu!!

Not difficult to spot when you are in the fort kochi area, a narrow lane leading to a much narrower entrance and a small area with informal seating and art work all around. In my opinion more popular by word of mouth. Limited food choices, slow in their service, tends to get hot with no aircon.

Stopped by the cafe in the heart of kochi, to have a bit of the hyped goodness. Ambience and decor is great. Has a special vegan and gluten free menu. But didn’t get the feel of a restaurant to eat a rib eye steak or similar items that where there on the money. Had a cup of cold coffee, and a “cake” ( more like chocolate fudge brownie). The place will feel a bit cramped up if your are more than two. Overall it’s a one time visit.

Kashi is a pleasant experience. Nice location, quality food, reasonable prices, great ambiance, and great crowd. An ideal place to have a conversation or to work or to enjoy a book. Cakes and lemonades are my favorite. The menu is well balanced and ideal. This is also a place to visit on all seasons for all the reasons 🙂 If you reach by car then will have some trouble finding a place to park. This is a place to spend some quality time. Avoid if you are in a hurry and want your order immediately. Kashi is a chilled out cafe to spend time and relish the mood.

Great cafe situated in Fort Kochi. Felt a very hippie type ambience surrounded by various art works. Food was pretty good, they have a Chef special soup-of-the-day, it was a noodle broth soup on that day, Tenderloin steak tasted real good but the highlight was the perfect tasting pepper sauce which accompanied it. Prawns Aglio Olio pasta was okay, well cooked but taste could've been improved. Another slight inconvenience was that it felt a bit hot during the peak afternoon as the fans weren't reaching all the tables. But overall, perfect place for a pleasant dining. Definitely recommend!

Kashi art cafe as its name says it is an cafe with full of art works. As we enter the cafe we will see small art and craft works.some are funny, some are amazing.nice work of art can be seen. Coming to the food ,it's a little expensive place but the food has its quality and quantity too. Beef steak was amazing 😋😋. perfectly cooked with smashed potatoes and boiled vegetables.but when coming to pasta it's not good actually.sauce was fully stuffed in it like we would actually stop after 3-5spoons.taste was also not up to the expectations. After all good experience Staffs were friendly and excellent service. 😊😊 This cafe is near beach as its hard to locate.

Gallery comes cafe. The interior is super nice with a few breakout rooms and different seating areas. The food is delicious, coffee is made using mocha pot and it’s quite good too. They have a wifi (best to try different spots for better signal) and pieces of art jotted around the place. Clean and not cluttered yet cozy. It’s on the pricier side.

One of the most beautiful places in Fort Kochi, Kashi is a gorgeous art cafe located on Princess Street. With a small entryway into a courtyard full of art, sculptures and murals, eating at Kashi makes you feel like you are part of the exhibit. Usually always having a waiting time owing to its popularity, Kashi keeps you busy at the lobby with a large supply of art books and paintings. Once you get a table, if you're lucky you will get one of the seats at the far end, or the entrance where you can lounge at ease. If not you and your friends will be squashed into a table at the side with a great view of the bathroom. The food at Kashi is DIVINE. Everything we tried was heavenly and left us wanting more. The Asian Stir Fried Beef Bowl and the Chocolate Brownie with Ice-Cream were both to die for. Only thing I would say is that the dishes are rather expensive and on the higher end to prepare yourself. The service at Kashi is also quite efficient, especially considering how chock-full it is every day. But what I love about this place is its commitment to art. The dishes are a mural for the chef and the large surplus of art is a great accompaniment to the ambience of Kashi. Genuinely had a lovely time and would recommend highly.

Came here for dinner with my husband. Great ambience and nice setting. We ordered the vegan curry with rice and salad (not sure of the official menu name), the hummus with pita bread and a lemonade to share. The food lacked flavour and depth, I wouldn’t rave about this but maybe it’s just their vegan menu which needs a bit more attention! Would need to come back and try more. Service was good however and pricing I suppose on par with its offerings.

Always found it overrated, but the place is still not bad for a cafe. Had their popular chocolate cake, which was not that soft or delicious, it was rather sticky. The sandwich was okay, the pasta was terrible. The ambience is good, but again, it’s just an okay place.

The ambiance was good. This happened one month ago. We ordered cold coffee and ginger pineapple honey. I have never had such a terrible cold coffee in my life before, and the pineapple ginger honey was equally disappointing. So after a few sips we left the remaining and made the payments. Surprisingly, none of the staff inquired about our dissatisfaction. We went there because of the positive Google reviews. I don't know whether they are good in something else other than juices. This was my experience .

Wonderful experience. A chill ambient vibe with impressive art. When we came to Kochi everyone told us to try the chocolate cake from here, and I’m so glad we did! It’s HUGE maybe best shared between two people or one very hungry one! Would totally recommend.

Kaashi Art Cafe in Fort Kochi is a must-visit Cafe for its enchanting fusion of art and culinary delights. This cozy cafe is nestled in the heart of historic Fort Kochi, offering a unique blend of local and international art and a serene ambience, making it a perfect spot for cultural immersion. Don't miss their mouthwatering Beef Steak, a flavorful dish that's a true standout on their menu along with a refreshing glass of Lemon Iced Tea👌🏻😍 Considering it’s a crowded touristy place, the staffs could’ve been bit more attentive is what I felt 😊

The Kashi Art Cafe for me is the quintessential Fort Kochi cafe. It has a hippee feel to it from the board in front to the interiors. We went for the dessert. Unfortunately, we weren't hungry enough to have more than the brownie with ice cream, but that itself was so tasty that it made me want to come and have a full meal sometime in the future. Definitely a go to place if you visit Fort Kochi.

This is a small quaint cafe tucked in the street of Fort Cochin. The cafe is artistically decorated with different contemporary paintings and sculptures. The chocolate cake is simply mouth watering and is a must have. The chicken and herbs omelette we had was also quite good. The portion size is big and one dish was enough for the two of us. Will visit again in my next trip to Kochi.

A cafe with artefacts in an old Dutch building with a rustic feel. Tastefully done interiors with creepers and plants, this is a hotspot for youngsters and college students. The cafe is opens at 8 in the morning and serves breakfast too. The menu comprises of continental dishes, mocktails. The cafe is located in a lane with no parking, visitors can park vehicles on the main road.

Always had great experience with Kashi’s in terms of Food and Service. The food they provide stands out through the presentation and unusual blend of food. Have tried almost everything and felt Chicken burger needs a lot of improvement. The patty was double hard and cold and wasn’t tasting good. Though they replaced with a new one, the problem that O faced patty remained the same. May be a bad order dat. (They reduced the bill amount and made it a decent play).

Food is amazing and the place has a vibe. But the way they discriminate Indians and especially Keralites when foreign tourists are present is very much evident. This might be because of several reasons and maybe due to the attitude of the manager. I went today to have a breakfast and they keep ignoring you until you ordered the John Abraham designed dish which was very good.

Very fancy and nice. Reminded me of some cafes I have visited in Tulum (Mexico). Loved the Granola Bowl and the Smoothie bowl (although the smoothie was warm-ish while I have always been used it is cold). The ambiance is nice. This is the place to be if you want to see some tourist in Kochi. But also locals come here to enjoy the chocolate cake.

Do try their avocado toast with poached eggs - it’s a perfect brunch dish. You could also try the chef special that starts from 12pm. I tried their chef special tacos and they were perfect blend of cheese and avocado. The beef sandwich were moderately good- a bit tangy and sweet. Juices were refreshing, coffee was perfect

I first visited Kashi in 1997-98 when it had just opened - a quaint, charming place that served a delightful breakfast; art on its wall, the menu on a chalk board. My second visit was yesterday for lunch with a friend and I equally enjoyed the place and the meal. My favourite place to eat in Kochi! Do try the beetroot walnut and feta salad and the sphagetti with grilled fish and mango sauce ( which was a unique combination but delicious).

Nestled in Fort Kochi, Kashi Art Cafe stands out as a renowned hotspot. Its ambiance mirrors an art gallery, creating a captivating atmosphere. The inviting setting sets the stage for an exceptional dining experience. While the cuisine leans towards the pricier side, the quality justifies it. 22-Jul-23: One of the exotic cafes in Kochi. They recreated a really great traditional ambience within their cafe. Food is exceptionally good with a great menu. This is my 4th visit. This time went in for a quick grab and went with veg burger and pulled beef sandwitch. Both were really good. Being a non veg I never could able to appreciate a veg burger in life but the one I tasted from Kaashi was different. The patty was smooth and blending with the overall burger. Melted cheese gave a definition to the overall taste. Pulled beef sandwitch was great as usual.

Good ambience, vibes coffee. Staff a bit uptight. Food, below average. It is designed to look good on photos and websites. Ordered omelettes for breakfast and they had put Béchamel in it. Baked beans had been mixed with local ketchup for its colours to pop. Had to throw most of the food away.

The spot is good, maybe a little hard to spot but with reviews and Google maps it should be easy. Good ambience, not very crowded as of this review. Service is quite good. The food is good too but unless you are familiar with cuisines, do not experiment. I had a meat lovers omlette that I usually have and there was a liberal amount of cheese that combined with the bacon and salami and sausage gave me a little not so enjoyable aftertaste and a bloated tummy. However the sizzlers are awesome. The vegetables, mashed potatoes etc are awesome. Duck roast is good. Some good indoor spots for photographs as well.

An adorable place with beautiful setting. Kashi Art Cafe as the name has it is a cafe that has many artwork inside. Right from the entrace of the place to your seating, you'll see beautiful pieces of artwork done by various artists. Paintings, sculptures and artwork, this cafe is a beaut of its own in the town of Kort Kochi. Speaking of food, been here few times, the food is really good. Their chocolate cake and brownie with ice is a must try. Coffee is served in an old fashion way with the coffe served in brew kettle, it's an experience. Food is served fast also. And there's a breakfast menu here which is a must try also!!!! But hey, don't go for the food but the ambience and vibes of the place. It's something unique. Met couple of guys who were working on a new set of artwork at the entrance and they were friendly also and kind. Whereas the waiters are quiet but swift in to take orders and serve them as well. :)

Indulging in the chocolate cake from Kashi Art Cafe is nothing short of embarking on a delectable journey that unveils layers of flavors and textures. From the moment the first forkful makes contact with your taste buds, it's evident that this dessert is a creation born out of culinary artistry. The richness of the chocolate cake is a symphony of deep, velvety cocoa notes that wrap around your senses like a warm embrace. With each bite, the cake's undercurrent of slight undercooking becomes a subtle touch that adds to its allure. The slightly gooey texture, a testament to its skilled preparation, creates a harmonious marriage between the outer layer and the inner core. What truly transforms this chocolate cake into a masterpiece is the artful addition of the thick chocolate sauce. As it cascades over the cake, it's as if the heavens have opened up to bless the dessert with an exquisite elixir. This sauce acts as a transformative agent, melding seamlessly with the cake's natural flavor profile. The result is a symphony of sweetness that dances upon the taste buds. The cake's inherent less-sweet nature finds its perfect counterpart in the indulgent sweetness of the chocolate sauce, creating a delicate balance that is nothing short of divine. The amalgamation of contrasting textures and flavors is where this dessert truly shines. The interplay between the slightly undercooked cake and the heavenly chocolate sauce elevates the experience to an entirely new realm of indulgence. Each forkful becomes a sensory delight, an exploration of taste and texture that keeps you yearning for more. In the end, the chocolate cake from Kashi Art Cafe is a testament to the magic that can be created when culinary craftsmanship is combined with an understanding of flavors. It's a dessert that defies expectations, capturing the essence of indulgence while maintaining a level of sophistication that is truly admirable. With its rich, undercooked texture and a strategic marriage with the thick chocolate sauce, this chocolate cake transcends the ordinary and ascends to the realm of unforgettable culinary experiences.

Outdoorsy shabby chic speakeasy cafe and art gallery, tucked away into a quiet alleyway in Fort Kochi's Burger St. Prices are slightly on the high side for typical Indian fare, but well worth it on the whole. Expect Rs. 1,500 to Rs. 2,000 per person for a balanced lunch with appetizers, salad, main course, dessert and some drinks. The eclectic menu offered breakfast items, to soups, salads, sandwiches, and light to full plate options. They also had several vegetarian and even many vegan options. Everything served scored a 5/5 for freshness, flavors, and overall taste. Definitely a must repeat for different items. Service was good, except it took a little longer than appropriate for one of the dishes to be served. Perhaps because it was a busy Sunday. Having said that, they were still unrushed and accommodating.

The chocolate cake was the highlight. It's a must try item on the menu. There was a long waiting queue. Also we can browse through the art gallery. Lot's of books are also kept which we can read while at the cafe. Pretty good vibe. Parking is a little tricky in the area since it's a very narrow street. The pulled beef sandwich costs around 400 ₹, I don't think it was worth the money as the portion was small (check the photo). At least they could have added some french fries along with it but it was simply tapioca chips which we can easily find in any local stores, this should be priced between 250-300₹. But the chocolate cake was a value for money item. 2 people can easily enjoy it.

I went here two times. The first time I ordered the spinach aubergine lasagna, lemonade and garlic bread and the second time I ordered the chocolate cake. The lasagna was ok as it was a bit extra salty and there was no other taste to it. The garlic bread tasted sweet and there was no garlic taste. The lemonade and cake was amazing! The cake was drizzled with dark chocolate sauce which make it awesome 👍🏽

I just loved this food spot in Fort Kochi. Situated in a Beautiful street with many Art works inside and an awesome atmosphere. Nice vibe and good quality food. We tried Seafood Salad, Chicken sandwich, the speciality dish - Chocolate Cake with Ginger tea, Cappuccino and Kombacha. As mentioned in numerous reviews Chocolate cakes was the highlight. There is ample space inside but overall it's crowded. Parking is an issue as there is no parking space outside the Cafe. Enjoy the Art and Vibe with some tasty food.

The food is a bit pricy. Attracts mostly foreigners. The ambience is up market, and you can enjoy and chill here anytime of the day. However, the waiting period is long. There is a shopping area too, inside the waiting lounge. Service is slow. The food stands out, the beverages are basic though.

It was an amazing experience having lunch at Kashi Art Cafe. The atmosphere resembled that of a rural cottage, adorned with wall art and sculptures throughout. The food was delicious, we ordered chicken burger, chicken sizzler, spinach and aubergine lasagna, grilled chicken salad, lemonade and cappuccino. I found the lemonade a bit less sweet but I would recommend the lasagna. It had a very unique taste of spinach and eggplant. However, the service was a bit slow, may be because of more people visiting on New Year weekend.
