The ticket price starts from 100 rs per person. There is a lot to see and explore in Aspinwall. Weekends are mostly prone to be crowded. There is no parking space, so if you're traveling by car you'll have to park it on roadsides. You could witness a lot of creative stuff there. Do visit ✌️

My first Biennale and it was beyond all my expectations. Aspinwall House is the central piece of the event and I spent over 9 hrs across two days to cherish the exhibition. I spent several minutes just photographing the space. I love these old world charms and especially when they manage to restore, sustain, and decently maintain. I wonder what stories the walls have heard over the decades. It's an ideal place for the Biennale. Highly recommending every single person interested in art of any sorts to visit.

Biennale continues to enrich. Running Dec to Apr. Though water is available, best to carry a bottle as you stroll around. Found store items priced a tad on the higher side but that could be just me. Best if you can come early by 10 if you prefer less crowd (and you find parking nearer!!)

Visited during the Kochi bienale.. Great venue besides the backwater. Great art works all over the place during the program. Good canteen. Enjoy tea and snacks with the great view of ships and boats passing by. Must visit place. Be advised though ferry service are less during Sundays so need to be prepared to wait for like 45 minutes average to get into ferry. Otherwise you can go around by road but will take like 45 minutes (20km) extra so it's your choice.

This place took my breathe away. On the edge of back waters, view is breathe taking. As a vanue for exhibit, perfect place. The rooms were connected, interestingly directing the visitors along with the art exhibition. A small cafe which serves baked goods and drinks, I found the prices steep as compared to the quality of food. Audio-visual rooms were air conditioned, with cushions and sittings to accompany the visitors. Different arts with inspiring artist is gonna amuse you for sure. Go visit this place, it will be a great experience for you.

A graceful building with wooden worked floors. Well setup and maintained. Do not forget to walk around to the shores where you can watch small ships sail through the backyard. It's a gift of God that anybody can enjoy the backwaters. Biennale is very famous world class cultural fest that happens in Kochi every 2 years. People who love art and other cultural activities cannot find another better place than this.

Beautiful place, lots of parts to the entire property itself. It'll take roughly around 3 hours to cover everything ( during Biennale). Magnificent view of the cargo docks can be seen from here.

Historic place...now using as an art gallery. The property originally belongs to Aspinwall & Company Ltd. Large sea facing heritage property. Aspinwall is now using as the primary venue of Kochi-Muziris Biennale. Good view from here to container terminal. Ancient British architecture is used.

Quite good place for art work and more of place where community events are held. When I had visited there was Art Festival going on and everything was so well managed. The staff is very polite and helpful. The place is paradise for art lovers. All the amenities are quite easily accessible and the surroundings is clean and tidy. The place is really good and well maintained overall, many famous events happens here which are attractive and touristy

A real good place for art loving people. I wasn't one among them, yet i enjoyed looking at those artistic works. To take photos they provide us with good background. Since it is near to marine beach this is a feel good place. To stay in peace. Food availability is there. I suggest a walk here in an evening as the place is quiet good for a walk.

The range of mediums and styles represented was truly impressive, and it was clear that a great deal of thought had gone into curating the exhibition. One of the things I appreciated most about the biennale was the way it brought together artists from all around the world, offering a truly global perspective on the art world. Whether it was traditional paintings, experimental installations, or digital media, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The organization of the event was top-notch as well. The layout was easy to navigate, and there were plenty of staff and volunteers on hand to answer questions and provide additional information. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone with an interest in art.

It is a beautiful place in Fort Kochi and I went there for Bienniale. A nostalgic and spacious space. I've visited this place before, and because it's near the sea, the evenings are particularly lovely. The Victorian architecture gives it a distinctive look.

This was my first Biennale as well as my first set exhibition. It was a wonderful experience and surpassed all my expectations. Aspinwall House houses a movie portion of the art. The warehouse was transformed into a beautiful art exhibition and the property itself felt like a piece of art. It was a wonderful experience and a visit to this place during the Biennale is highly recommend.

I went there for Biennale and it was the most amazing art exhibition event of my life. It's huge and the variety of exhibits are stunning. They have represented the contemporary social issues through various arts. The creativity and depth of thoughts that go into each art definitely deserves a standing ovation. It was over all a brilliant exhibition. Apart from this the place is beautiful with a lot of trees and beautiful views. The bungalow is a beauty with takes us back to history. There is a lake view space where you could spend hours in peace. I am overwhelmed by the overall experience.

This is a place of art lovers and people who can try to understand it. The place is heavily crowded during the bienniale. You can see the life time work of many artists the place is usually open from 10 to 6 and has a very long and large no. Of mouthopening pieces of art the place is just adjacent to the backwaters and has great eateries beside the backwaters to sit and relax

Aspinwall House is a large sea-facing heritage property in Fort Kochi on the way to Mattancherry. The property was originally the business premises of Aspinwall & Company Ltd. established in 1867 by English trader John H Aspinwall. Under the guidance of Aspinwall the Company traded in coconut oil, pepper, timber, lemon grass oil, ginger, turmeric, spices, hides and later in coir, coffee, tea and rubber. The large compound contains office buildings, a residential bungalow and a number of warehouses and smaller outer-lying structures. Aspinwall House will be a primary venue of the Biennale, hosting numerous artist led projects and events spaces

The old house provides for really interesting spaces and a labyrinth of serpentine art galleries. The location of the place is brilliant, being right next to the ferry dock and right at the water providing spectacular views. The cafe inside is placed magnificently, also with great views. The central courtyard gives space for relaxation and also stalls to be setup.

What a stunning heritage complex this is and a perfect epicenter for the Kochi Bienalle. The space is vast and has several buildings within. The main building overlooks the harbour and that area is beautiful. My only complaint would be, it is not access friendly, since most spaces have stairs to climb. But with a little creativity and vision, the structures can be preserved and still made accessibility friendly, because art should be made available to all!

It's the Major Venue of Kochin- Muziris Biennale. It was an warehouse to Load spices in yesteryears. The Architecture and arrangements of installations makes this place more beautiful. It's a vibrant space. Every corridor and window tells a new story abour perception of art. The shallow ways and wooden pillers reminiscences the past years. The backyard of Aspinwall house will open a new and ever refreshing sight to Grand Kochin Backwater. Where we can see small fishing boats and some times large vessels along with the wind from the lake. The exhibition of art and creatives people around makes this place something special.

During my visit, I had the opportunity to explore numerous exhibitions, each with its own distinctive theme and perspective. The artworks were thought-provoking, inspiring, and showcased incredible talent from both established and emerging artists. From paintings that captured the essence of Kerala's landscapes to conceptual installations that challenged societal norms, every piece had a story to tell Aspinwall also hosts various cultural events, performances, and interactive sessions, creating a dynamic and engaging environment for visitors. It's not just an exhibition space; it's a hub for artistic dialogue and exploration. The enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff added to the overall experience, providing valuable insights and fostering a welcoming atmosphere. Overall, Aspinwall is a captivating art exhibition space that deserves high praise. It not only showcases exceptional artwork but also fosters a sense of community and creative exchange. Whether you're an art enthusiast, a curious traveler, or simply seeking inspiration, a visit to Aspinwall in Fort Kochi promises an enriching and immersive experience. Furthermore, the location of Aspinwall in Fort Kochi is a significant advantage. The area itself is steeped in history, with its colonial architecture, bustling streets, and vibrant art scene. After exploring the exhibitions, I enjoyed wandering through the narrow lanes, discovering quaint cafes, boutiques, and other art galleries in the vicinity. I highly recommend exploring the exhibitions and events at Aspinwall. Immerse yourself in the world of art, engage in meaningful conversations, and let the creative energy of this remarkable space leave an indelible mark on your artistic journey. One aspect that impressed me about Aspinwall was its commitment to social and environmental sustainability. The organizers actively promote eco-friendly practices, such as waste management and energy conservation. They also engage with the local community, collaborating with artists and artisans to create a positive impact on the region.

I’m a big fan of Historical places and Archeological stuffs and all so I love this place so much and actually it was a company limited established in the year 1867 and the important thing is this heritage space got large sea🌊facing areas as well but now it becomes housing art🖼 and the venue for the famous Kochi-Muziris Biennale YEAH!! This is the right place to host events like this for sure, biennale is the space for artists with there installations and thoughts💭 and all anyway this space got a wonderful ambiance and atmosphere and peace☮️✌️

I recently visited Aspinwall in Kochi as part of the Kochi Binale and was blown away by its beauty and historical significance. Aspinwall is a stunning property that has been beautifully restored and maintained. The architecture is impressive and the gardens are lovely to stroll through. I particularly enjoyed exploring the art gallery, which showcases a diverse range of contemporary and traditional artworks. The staff were also very friendly and knowledgeable, making my experience all the more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend visiting Aspinwall if you're in Kochi – it's a must-see destination for anyone interested in art, culture, and history!

I recently visited The Aspinwall House and I must say, it is a fantastic venue. The presentations were great and the place was well-maintained. The ambience was amazing and the best thing about this venue is the scenic views. The polite service provided by the staff made the experience even more enjoyable. The facilities provided were also good. However, during the Biennale weekends, it can get a bit crowded, but that's understandable given the popularity of the event. Overall, I highly recommend The Aspinwall House as a must-visit venue for anyone looking for a great experience in Kochi.

This is one of the best spots in Fort Kochi. I believe many visitors to Fort Kochi overlook this place. If you plan to visit, consider the Cochin Muziris Biennale. During that time, you can purchase tickets to explore and witness numerous artworks created by artists from different countries. It's a fantastic experience for everyone, and I recommend visiting at least once during the Biennale. Additionally, the cafeteria at this location offers a great ambiance.

Great venue for the binnale. It's actually a very old house on 3.5 acres of land. The house is actually retained in its original form and let out for various activities including cinema and exhibitions. It has a great view of the sea and is quite close to the ferry and fort kochi bus Stop

Something different, something you should probably see once, even if you don't understand most of what you see. It really has a different vibe to it. I guess it's not open always, so please check beforehand if it's open to public before going there. It's really hot inside the rooms though, the fans just aren't enough to stop you from sweating. Worth a visit.
