We ordered aloo Chana, bhindi masala, and nan. The food is terrible, full of oil, which you can see in the picture. Quantity of the food with respect to price is low. No salt no spices at all, even after asking the owner to make it spicy. All the nans were burned. Chef blindly packs the nan even if it is burnt. Please do not visit this place. Worst place to eat. Really feel like asking my money back.

The location, ambience and service is good but the food is not authentic. We found it pretty bland and felt that everything lacked taste!

So expensive for such a low quality food, I have never experienced such a awful Indian food in my life. Rice was cold and meat was burned but cold , never ever go there.

This is the worst restaurant I have ever been in my life. Worst food quality, worst taste. Cook has no cooking sense. Tasteless Biryani with chicken and vegetables like Mutter etc.. who puts mutter in Biryani. It’s an insult to Biryani. Butter chicken was just a gravy and few chicken pieces in it. Worst part is they don’t know what is roti, naan, garlic naan. They just served us the breads in the name of naan and garlic naan. Sometimes I really wonder how does restaurants like this get good rating? We were a group of 10 people and everyone was totally disappointed. We couldn’t even finish half food because the food was totally tasteless.

The food is very solid, it never disappoints. But it is also not stellar (3.5 Stars). Atmosphere in the restaurant is very good (4 Stars) and the staff is just great (4.5 Stars). If you like it Indian spicy, then you need to tell them very explicitly.

it isn’t authentic food and it’s tasteless 🙁. It was horrible to see that Mutter paneer gravy had shredder panner in it and no cubes.

The food was absolutely delicious, ordered the samosas, the grill platter, naan, chicken madra and we were absolutely impressed. Spice level was perfect and the service was extremely nice. Definitely would suggest this restaurant!

Okay so we ordered vegetable mix Sabzi and veg biryani. The mix sabzi was cut in noticeably big sizes I don't know why. Secondly the gravy was extremely less. The sabzi was made in curd. When we asked, the restaurant presented us some gravy. But the gravy was again made of curd and was watery. The vegetable biryani I guess was mixed in the same vegetable curry and presented to us. Overall the restaurant may seem good to non Indian but I cannot recommend this restaurant to any Indian.

One of the worse food ever eaten in life, never go to this restaurant. We came from australia and had very bad experience, customer we service was nowhere to feel and food presentation was third class, highly recommended.

As I am from South Africa 🇿🇦 the restaurant Taj Mahal is the best for Indian food. Their staff and the owner gives you a warm welcome. Its a restaurant that gives you a homely feeling away from home. Samad the owner takes personal care of his guests. Their food preparation is of the highest quality and taste is excellent I would recommend any foreign guests or local people from Germany to visit the restaurant. The best restaurant in Koblenz. The food, the service and the atmosphere were exceptional. The wait staff were very attentive, courteous and professional. The food really tasted freshly prepared and cooked. My friend and I were pleased with our respective meals.

Worst of the worst food I had in my life. Service below standards. They spoiled our one of the best day of our holidays. Our friend drove 100 kilometres to entertain us but we ended up in worst experience of our life. Food was not even near to normal food. I suggest, never ever visit this place. It would be better to sleep empty stomach rather to eat there.

Nice Indian restaurant on a square in the old city center of Koblenz. Outdoors terrasse and indoors seating, beautiful decoration. Food is good, reasonable prices. Service is friendly but not as friendly as in many other Indian restaurants according to our personal experience. No alcohol like wine or beer served. Still recommended. 👍

Am Kleineste Portions. Very very small portions. 15 euro meal looks like children menu.

The indian flavor profile is supported by many healthy herbs with mostly spicy and other intense flavors. The chickensoup is a typical and authentic example. It is delicious, little on the acidity side and a great experience. The veggie dish represents a journey through a veggie garden, perfectly roasted from onions to paprika. A true culinary fun, plus the healthy low glycemic value basmati rice. Loved it!

Mediocre food and drinks, nice atmosphere, late service.

Service was mediocre even when there was only a few people there. Food was not the best. Spicy is not spicy at all and for the amount of food you get compared to the price not so good. Would not recommend or eat there again.

One of the best restaurants for dine in service. The tables were arranged and sanitised very well. I had ordered Tandoori Chiken for the meal. The taste was delicious, great service and yummy food makes it a money worth place. I really loved the taste of the food. The prices here are also quite affordable.

Good Ambiance but average food. We ordered 3 types of chicken dishes and all tasted almost same. Service time is pretty high, 20+ min.

  • 1/5 Neha K. 2 years ago on Google
The service here is too slow. Also the food is average. I would suggest if someone in Koblenz wants to eat authentic and good Indian food then they must try Indian Palace Restaurant at Casinostraße 1A.
