Listen to me, I am not Bangladeshi… but I promise you after visiting this is restaurant you would wish to be one. The cuisine is delicious, there is no boring taste at all. I recommend going for spicy stuff - I promise you won’t be disappointed.

One of my German colleagues always tells me that he wants to try some traditional Bengali food. Luckily, I found a restaurant recommended by my friend. We went there on Sunday at 6 pm, and at that time, no one was there, which left us a bit confused. However, we decided to give it a shot. I must say that the atmosphere and decoration were very nice. I talked with the owner, and he seemed like a very nice guy. We started with Samosa, Jali Kabab (👌), and Pakora. For the main dish, I ordered Sarhisa Illish, and my colleague ordered Mutton Biryani, which was recommended by the chef. I wouldn't say the taste is 100% similar, but it's about 90%, as I asked the chef to add spices to the fish curry. If you want to try authentic Bengali cuisine, just go there, and I'm 100% sure you will enjoy it (I must say they are not like other Indian restaurants).

Food was good, if not excellent. But expect more Bangladeshi/Bangladeshi-inspired dishes added to the menu in future. No need for so many other things dominating the menu like döner, fastfood, pasta etc. Still, nice ambience. I liked the samosa with the tamarind sauce, which is actually "shingara" in Bangladesh, not the Bangladeshi samucha. Dal bora was too overfried for My personal preferences. The khichuri rice tasted good, tastier and less oily than the biriani rice (the biriani is not pictured in my review). And the 'bhuri bhaja' or cow intestines was alright. The porota needs to be less crispy :) all the best

I enjoyed the food and The atmosphere is also good. we took Fish Curry as main course and Samusha,Dhal pakora as Starter. Taste is perfect. i can recommend you if you have craving for Bengali and Indian Food.

The quality and freshness of the food is great. I’ve been there for a few times now and the quality never deteriorated. I’m on Repeat 🙂 And thanks for the effort and bravery to introduce such Bangladeshi cuisines which stand out with different taste than typical Indian restaurants.
