I am in no way hard to please but I've literally lived in a squat that was in better condition than this place ( no lie) The staff were unbelievably rude , the apartment had cigarette butts left the kitchen from whoever had stayed before us .. We booked a room for 3 people.(1 double bed and one bunk bed ) We got two double beds . When we text the landlord via WhatsApp to address this he said it was written in the ad description , which it was not . When we screenshotted the description and sent the photo asking him to outline where it was written in the description he blocked the number . I have to say again , I am in no way hard to please . I might sound like a typical "Karen" but sleeping on the streets would have probably been cleaner . The only reason it's getting 1 star is because there is no option to give 0. Do yourself a favour and STAY CLEAR AND AVOID AT ALL COST.

If I could, I would give 0 stars. This is not even suitable accommodation for just one night. There were a lot of insects in the room, the bed linen and towels (for which you had to pay an extra 5 euros per person) didn't smell too fresh and were in a junky bag. There was hair and small animals in the shower, the toilet didn't look trustworthy as water was leaking out of the box, and getting toilet paper from the accommodation wasn't easy either. There was no free Wi-Fi as promised and the walls were very thin and overall the building was noisy. In addition, the kitchen utensils were chalky.

Very bad, don't go here! Terrible room quality and unfriendly hosts. When we arrived to the appartment the door did not open, we wiggled it to try to open it and the whole door came loose. Then my friend sat on his bed and it instantly broke! We went to tell the receptionist and he said he couldn't help us and we had to fill in a form! So my friend had to sleep on the floor. There were several other room issues as well. Worst yet, after checking out the hotel owner called us angry, threatening to involve the police cause he blamed us for the damage to the door and bed! He refused to listen to our side of the story and demanded €450 compensation!!! We feel that they are trying to scam us. Very bad experience for all of us, I strongly recommend to find another place to sleep.

Rocked down but definitely an experience and absolutely sufficient for our purposes. This house is legendary in Cologne. Not the worst place we've ever stayed and the people who live here are all very nice!

2 stars because the room had a terrace. But in general: for me this is not a “hotel”, but a residential complex. Families live normally in other rooms. - There is a gentleman at the reception who doesn't understand much German and is obviously too old for the job - a name change when making the reservation (via Booking) completely overwhelmed him. - Apparently there were no more parking spaces available, but there were >50 parking spaces and only 3 cars. - Room was "ok" equipped - I had imagined something much worse based on the reviews here - Facilities are poor for a normal vacation. If you're celebrating a JGA, then it's possible. All in all, it was completely fine for us for the price and also for a JGA. It doesn't matter if the door to the bathroom is broken and it's not that clean overall. But I found the beds quite comfortable and you can get into the city very quickly.

Not good!! The front door hang loose in it’s frame. When we locked it for the night we discovered that half of the frame was not attached to the walls. That did not feel safe, since that meant the door could be easily forced open while locked. It felt even less safe when we also got blamed for it by the accommodation after departure, although in the morning they first came to a apologize for it being broken. It was very confusing and we don’t recommend going here due to all the problems. the sanitary was okay, but the fact that also the curtains in the apartment continuously came off and the bed fell apart the first time one of us sat on it, don’t make it worthwhile to find out more. The tv screens were also very poorly attached to the walls and we were constantly afraid that they would come off. Definitely needs some serious work.

Me and 2 friends stayed there for one night in 2019. It was the worst apartment we have ever stayed in. The gatekeeper was extremely unfriendly and, in our opinion, had no place in this profession. When we arrived in the room, at first glance it was relatively clean. However, when we looked closer, we found hair in the shower. The toilet was hanging by just one thread, so you had to be afraid of the toilet seat and the toilet seat slamming down when you went to the toilet. However, when we finished our concert visit, we logically went back to the room. During the night we were afraid that we would be killed by the other guests above us, it was so noisy. You could hear loud shouting and fights. Our conclusion: We wouldn't even spend the night there for a million euros.

Door of the apartment was broken and almost impossible to open and one of the beds immediately fell apart when someone sat down on it.

I stayed in the apartment 4 years ago with my sister and a friend. We wanted to go to the concert and spent a night there. I have to say that at first glance it was quite clean. Upon closer inspection, hair was found in the shower tray and a pretty dilapidated toilet seat. We didn't dare go into the kitchen because the surfaces and cupboards were pretty dirty. Disgusting. The reception was not worthy of his job because there was a lack of friendliness. "For God's sake, then quit your job and live on welfare! That's what we thought. We didn't feel safe because we heard an argument and a fight where we thought we were in a train station. Terrible.
