Booked
this
hotel
as
a
stopover
as
wanted
somewhere
pet
and
child
friendly,
but
I
feel
this
would
be
a
hotel
I
would
happily
book
for
a
longer
stay.
The
staff
were
very
friendly,
the
breakfast
options
were
great.
There
was
a
small
children's
play
area
with
books
and
toys
that
came
as
a
nice
surprise,
and
the
pool
area
was
lovely
with
sauna
and
massage
bed.
The
charges
for
the
dog
(€20)
were
more
than
I
have
seen
at
other
hotels,
but
the
hotel
provides
a
very
good
service
(including
dog
bowl,
towels,
extra
poo
bags
if
needed)
that
I
feel
they
can
perhaps
justify
the
additional
fees.
Also
note
that
an
extra
bed
in
a
standard
room
will
set
you
back
€35
but
the
base
room
price
is
reasonable
for
the
service
you
get,
so
again
is
perhaps
justified.
We
were
unexpectedly
upgraded
to
a
suite
due
to
overbooking
so
this
was
a
nice
surprise
as
we
had
doors
with
direct
access
to
a
little
patio
area.
I
like
that
the
hotel
provided
basic
soap
and
body
wash
in
refillable
dispensers
but
offered
free
toiletries
from
the
desk
if
you
needed
them.
I
like
to
see
hotels
cutting
back
on
waste
in
what
ways
they
can
so
this
was
great.
The
castle
and
town
centre
were
only
a
short
walk
away
and
we
were
able
to
get
food
in
town
easily
so
did
not
try
the
hotel
restaurant
on
this
occasion
but
the
menu
sounded
lovely.
