Campsite in a lovely location on river Lahn. Short walk into the beautiful Old Town. However, the camping experience was awful because of a vile old man who is a bully, shouting at people. He is in the wrong job as he doesn't know how to deal with people. New toilet block is too small and not practical for campers.

Camping is fine, has a nice environment. Bad review because one of the camping owners is a grumpy dog. He tried to fine us €250 for dumping sinkwater. He didn't even bother being polite and came up to us screaming at 7:50 in the morning, just before we were about to leave. Was a great stay, until he showed up. Edit: Camping owner replied and is lying! Why would we refuse to put a bucket under the sinkwater disposal if you asked us? It doesn't add up. Besides this, the so called "graywater" wasn't even dirty enough to leave a stain. It was tapwater used to wash vegetables. It's almost as if you're too childish to admit to ur own mistakes. Ur just trying to make a quick buck off of tourists. We never received a warning from you. Such an ignorant and childish person owning an camping, it's actually hilarious.

1st came across this campsite in 2018, when we stopped for 1 night enroute to Croatia. 2nd time we stayed for 3 nights in 2019 and in 2020 we stayed for 4 nights. The town is a short walk along the river, and definitely worth a visit. There is also a municipal swimming pool outside the campsite entrance, but i have never used, so cannot comment about this. The old toilet block has been demolished, there is a newer version at the far end of the campsite, i understand the new owners plan to re-develop more facilities during the autumn and winter 2020. Well worth staying more than 1 night. And so in 2022 we were here for 7 nights. Some further redevelopment has happened since our last visit in 2020. A great location just off the A3 motorway. Looking forward to our next visit 👍

Perfect riverside spot on the calmer side of the city. Easy walk to the altstadt and decent selection of schnitzel servings at beach beer garden. Tent spaces are a bit small. Dog friendly.

Close to the city of Limburg, the friendly owner is renovating the site when this is finished it will be worth five stars

This is the best RV park that I have seen in several years being in Germany. They are constantly adding new features and expanding their friendly service. It is family owned and ran, making it a home away from home. And to top it off, they make the best Spare Ribs for dinner than I have seen in Germany, hands down, there is no comparison. This family provides top notch customer service, awesome RV park location on the river, beautiful and clean amenities, and an excellent cantina, and deserve more than 5 stars. I want to thank Kevin for giving us our original tour in English since we can't speak German. He was very friendly and helpful. Well done to the whole family for providing a great place to vacation anytime of the year!

The site is tired and in need of renovation but the local town is lovely only a short walk away and it is a lovely spot by the river close to the autobahn. Handy stop off point for the night when travelling home.

Perfect! Nice view, great location for the cute old town. Next to the highway but barely any noise from that. Everything looks nice, facilities all new and clean. Too bad for us the nice looking beergarten (with beach) was closed that day. 5/5, would definetly come back if i'm around.

Nice campground on the Lahr River. We stayed overnight on our way back home. The campsite is literally situated under a very high interstate overpass which give quit a bit off traffic noise

Nice large site on the river. Pleasant hosts, facilities ok being upgraded I think. 43.50euros for a campervan and two people was a bit overpriced I feel for one night.
