    BE CAREFUL!!! I rented a car from Sixt, Aachen. And I delivered the car on time. So far everything is clear and nice! However, I received TWO DAYS after delivery an email indicating that I have to pay around €800 for a very small and tiny scratch on bumper!!! If there was any new damage they could complain upon delivery or latest one day after delivery, but not TWO DAYS! Also they charged me for this tiny and small scratch around €800!!!!! See the pic. Mentioning that since I did't get into any accident, it is IMPOSSIBLE to have this scratch during my rental period. Now I understand when they insisted on selling a full-insurance by stating "we can not guarantee anything if you don't have a full-insurance for your rental car".

    I booked a reservation at Sixt 6 weeks prior to arrival; I had a confirmation code and everything. Unfortunately my reservation was cancelled with no prior notice although the staff was very adamant about sending out a cancellation email due to overbooking. They wanted to look through my email and try to “help me” find the cancellation email. Definitely not coming back and notifying all of my friends. Lol sorry guys. Do better.

    Cheaters! When we picked up the car, the total price to pay was 190 euros. When we returned the car they took 274 euro from our card. Information on the hotline that "they cannot help you need to write an e-mail". Of course no one responds on e-mail. When we picked up the car, another client entered the office, who, after returning the car, was also charged with insurance, which he did not want. They explain everything by problems with the system and the problem costs us 85 euros! Cheaters!

    I rented a car there for 2 days during the weekends, price is fair and the condition of the car is great. Staff is really friendly and helpful, they speaks very good English. Not a problem at all for foreigners to communicate there.

    Really loved the car, 10/10. Was scared with many negative reviews, but all went smooth for me. Recommended! Dec2023: Could not publish another review, but again 5 starts. Rented a car for winter holidays and got amazing experience. enjoyed the car!

    Really bad experience!! It was really important for me to have a car one tuesday morning. I have called them and got a offer 4 day prior, called again to confirm everything and ask one more time do I have to pay anything in advance to register the car. Because it was so important for me I have called them once more day before to check one more time, I also told them that my company will be paying and do I need to have credit card with me. Every time I called, they told me I just need to show up there in the morning and everything will be sorted. Tuesday morning comes, I arrive and they tell me that that was only a offer and that they would have to check if any other car was available. After 10 mins of waiting they have told me that I am lucky and that there is only one car left and they can give it to me. Car was 100€ more expensive then the previous one. Also I do not know policies of other companies but asking about how much kms am I going to travel is really stupid because that is really hard to tell... I would highly recommend avoiding them!!

    I have rented more then 18 cars in a year from here. Every time about 800-1500 Euros. After a while the boss didn’t like that I was getting all the cars from one agent. So she fired him and the other agents where scared to provide services for me!!! That’s how they treated their loyal customer. Funny but true! Apart from that they occasionally offer you a dirty car or a car with not full fuel. They also will cancel your reservation just one day before pickup date.

    Friendly, welcoming and competent personnel at rental station. Possibility of renting a car at short notice,i.e. on the same day. Easy to collect and return the car, there is a dedicated parking place with a clear sign just a few meters away. Very convenient that there is a petrol station just across the street from the Sixt office. Rented car was in very good condition, clean inside and outside. Overall very positive experience renting from this office.

    Professional staff that speaks good English. I rented a Volkswagen Touran for my holidays of 5 weeks. Bill was as expected. Read the rules before you pick up the car to prevent inconvenience. I had a good experience. It is very convenient to return the car at a designated parking between EuropaPlatz and the Sixt office. The tank can be filled up at a petrolstation across the road. Renting a car at Sixt Aachen for Dutch people (from Zuid-Limburg) is much cheaper than Sixt Maastricht.

    We rented a car for week with pick up in Aachen and drop off in Vienna. I had booked the car under my name but mistakenly forgot my drivers license. I called SIXT to explain my mistake and the agent was very gracious and waived the cancelation fee and allowed me to rebook under my husbands name. And while they did not offer us advice on the needed vignettes in Czechia and Austria, when I followed up and suggested they do this in future they were thankful for my constructive feedback. I would book with SIXT again, and this time remember my license ;)

    Nice experience, Very Good Service. friendly staff. Got upgrade from VW Gold to Ford Galaxy. Car was in good condition. Better to take maximum protection plan if you are driving far.

    The worst experience I have ever had. I first rented a car. The week I was meant to pick up my vehicle, I received an email that my reservation was cancelled, without any reason or explanation. When I called, they informed me that it was cancelled because they didnt have any availability, and would refund my money. After not receiving my money, I called multiple times. I was repeatedly lied to about when my money would arrive, and told to "write an email". The emails were not remotely helpful. Two weeks later, I still do not have my money back, even after they insist they transferred it to me (and refuse to provide proof). Do yourself a favor and DO NOT rent a car here unless you want to be lied to and have your money stolen. Now they reply with an email address that does not even exist. Thanks for nothing.

    Everyone at Sixt Germany was so nice and accommodating to my requests. The Sixt in Aachen was open until late to help me out and the customer representative there was such a nice guy. Congrats to the team!

    Brilliant service , brilliant cars , brilliant prices!! Only bad thing is I kept getting fined and charge straight away without knowing why , when i call nobody would tell me the reason for the fines and now my bank has gone into minus thanks !

    FOR EVERY TOURIST OR NON-GERMAN CITIZEN: I really commend to not rent your car here. I rented a car a week ago with pre-paid payment and a confirmation, then they sent me annulation of the car this morning while I have a wedding in two days. They sent you a meager annulation e-mail without reason of annulation nor further steps to question this. I called back to customer service where they said that they don't rent out cars to non german-citizens who didn't rent a car in the previous year out of security reasons. Everything was paid prepaid and they could not tell me if or when my money would be paid back. I have to mention that I have been forwarded 3 times in the meanwhile trying to get this information. I should of trusted the bad reviews before booking here, won't make the same mistake again! Hope this review helps someone out!

    It's efficient process for rent a car. Booked online n picked up at the day. Deposit €300 needed, and refunded 2nd day after returned the car. Returned the car at 9pm was easy, just park in front of the office and drop the car key inside the drop box at lobby. Got a perfect VW Tiguan for 5 days trip to Italy. Definitely will come back for next Aachen visit.

    Renting cars very often here. Most of the time, they don't have the car you reserved before. But they always come with an solution or even a better offer. Always make sure you have all documents with you! It's a strict policy which is also very understandable.

    I booked a car for a couple of days but after receiving the confirmation noticed that I made a mistake. I had booked it for one month later than I wanted. I thought, no big deal, right? I just booked it, I can edit or cancel my order. Wrong! You see, you will have to pay to change your reservation. I understand that the fee will be higher if you book shortly before than far in advance, but I did not want to pay double the original amount. So, I wanted to cancel. They told me you are welcome to cancel, but there will be no refund :D. How are they even allowed to exploit a simple mistake like that is beyond me. It is like they are trying their hardest to rip you off. First step and this is how they did. I can only imagine how such a greedy company will take their customers for a ride if something goes wrong.

    DONT RENT A CAR HERE!!!! They charge you extra money without telling you in the hope you don't see that on your credit card! We agreed on a deposit of 300 euros en an extra 167 euros for full insurance but they charged me an extra 350 euro for extra driver that was under 21 years old but they didn't tell me that. I contacted them but I always get costumer service in in Munchen en there answers is always sir we cant do nothing about it. the crazy thing is that I asked him twice what is the deposit and what do I have to pay!
