Staying at Kanferri villa was an amazing and positive experience for our family (2 adults and 1 yr old baby) - allowing us to enter a different world, bringing peace & calmness for the length of our stay 🇱🇰🌏 The host Ferran has placed his heart into the villa, putting his attention to even the smallest detail to make it as close as perfection as possible. And I must say - he’s very good at it 👌 Besides the place being nice design and build wise, it’s also brings you quite close to the nature - we had the chance to see monkeys jumping around the palm trees and some very cute mongooses. The place is located approx. 5min tuktuk drive from the ocean (host provides the guests with reliable driver contacts). The stay includes breakfast - either continental (top bakery quality toast with eggs and a smoothie) or healthy (yoghurt bowl with oat and fruits and a smoothie). All in all, Ferran and and his co-host Madura made sure that we feel like at home, and even created a special surprise for my wife’s birthday. We spent our first two nights in Sri Lanka at this villa, and it was even better than the pictures suggest. The attention to detail is impressive, from providing power adapters to offering numbers for trustworthy tuk-tuk drivers. The look and feel of the place made it feel like home; it's very nicely built. Don't miss out on the breakfast granola bowl—it's a must-try!

A great place to stay in South Sri Lanka! The Villa is so nice and the ambient is really calm, so if you are looking for a nice place to chill and relax, this is the place to be. The rooms are decorated in a very nice and fresh taste which makes them so comfortable, also very clean and nice smell. Ferran and Madura makes of Kanferri a cool villa where you can refill batteries before and after surf! Highly recommended!

If you’re planning a trip to Sri Lanka, you have to experience a stay at Kanferri Villa… The Villa itself is gorgeous. Lush greenery, rooms designed with warmth and character, all the amenities to make for a comfortable stay (including a lovely pool) and overall a very cosy and intimate atmosphere. 10/10. The staff are equally brilliant. Ferran is so attentive, so friendly, and instantly made us feel at home. Madura looks after the Villa and prepares delicious breakfasts - an incredible friend during our stay, always willing to help and provide tips, conversation, and also offers boat Safari tours. All round, 10/10. The location is great, tucked away from the main road, just a short tuk tuk to the beach and other local hotspots. Some fantastic restaurants are also scattered close by (I highly recommend eating at Big Mighty Deli - one of the best burgers I’ve ever tasted). 10/10. All in all, our stay at Kanferri was a highlight of our coastal Sri Lankan holiday. Thank you to Ferran and Madura for everything, we hope to see you again very soon!

Shere should I start? This place is an amazing getaway from the busy Weligama. The host Ferran and Madura are super super nice and caring for all your needs. The rooms are really clean and are equipped with everything you need. The breakfast was delicious and the area was always so calm and quiet. You could also see a lot of monkeys around the trees and also a Waran nearby. Also Kabalana Beach is nearby and has beautiful clear water, great to surf as well for beginners and is not as crowded as other beaches.

What an amazing place! I’ve enjoyed a week at this place and I’d like to come back soon. I will do it. Beautiful place, made with lots of love. Each detail makes sense, getting your experience more comfortable. The staff is always helpful. It cares for guests, getting easy all you need on your trip: drivers, bikes, finding the best surf instructors, and special places for enjoying the area. Special mention for Madura! He is so kind and respectful, always available, and he cooks the best breakfast in the south of Sri Lanka. Thanks for everything Kanferri, you rock! 🤘

Kanferri Villa is by far one of the beste locations to stay in South West of Sri Lanka. We stayed here for 8 Nights. Ferran the owner is really nice and helpful with everything. If you want to rent a scooter, tuktuk, or whatever he always have good contacts. Madura the Housekeeper is really nice. He prepares a really nice breakfast, can give you tips for surfing or you can go for a boat safari on the Koggala lake in the neighborhood. He always take care about our surfboards and put them in the shade. The 4 Rooms are amazing and everything is really cosy. Hammocks, Pool and Monkeys can make your day. We will come back for sure. I would give more than 5 stars if it’s possible. Thanks to Ferran and Madura for this great stay.

Ferran ana Madura are extremely kind and knowledgable about Sri Lanka. They helped us find our way around on multiple occasions. They took excellent care of us, and honestly did so. The rooms are stylish and comfortable. The garden is big and relaxing. We enjoyed dips in the pool, they were good refreshement and good for some basic exercise. Everything was sparkling clean! All in all, a wonderful quiet oasis close to Kabalana beach
