Visited
Kohima
with
my
and
my
Brother's
family
for
three
nights.
After
lots
of
online
searching
zeroed
in
on
Hotel
East
Gate
primarily
because
of
its
location
in
the
center
of
the
town.
Booking
was
smooth
over
the
phone
and
no
advance
was
charged.
As
we
were
traveling
by
our
own
cars,
we
were
verbally
assured
availability
of
parking
as
only
two
parking
slots
were
available.
On
reaching
there
I
was
pleasantly
surprised
to
get
facilities
better
than
expected
and
promised.
For
though
I
was
told
rooms
with
balconies
were
not
available,
on
checking
in
we
were
provided
rooms
with
balcony
with
beautiful
views.
Though
the
facilities
are
not
of
the
level
of
5-star
facilities,
yet
they
were
very
good
for
the
price
at
which
it
was
being
offered.
The
hotel
was
perfectly
clean
with
good
and
prompt
service.
Fooding
facilities
also
were
good
with
complimentary
breakfast.
Pricing
was
reasonable
and
there
were
no
hidden
costs
in
the
bill
and
the
amount
charged
was
exactly
what
was
told.
Kohima
main
market
and
other
important
places
are
at
walking
distance
from
the
hotel.
The
only
problem
I
faced
was
the
approach
to
the
hotel
with
a
car
during
the
day,
I
had
to
take
a
longer
turn
to
enter
the
lane
if
you
come
from
BOC
point
side,
because
of
the
traffic.
I
would
recommend
the
Hotel
to
anyone
who
plans
to
visit
Kohima.
Perfectly
hassle-free
experience
with
courteous
and
well-behaved
staff.
