Glad we came across this homestay. One of the best places to stay at in Kohima if you're travelling on a budget. All the basic amenities were there. The owners were also very kind. We went there in october and it was probably off-season, so we were able to get it at 650/- per person including breakfast.

Had a really nice experience. I could suggest any one for best lodging in Kohima would be this place. Foods are awesome, the location is awesome and most important the peoples are very very nice, specially the owner Nino. This is my 3rd official visit at Kohima stayed in different hotels everytime but from now onwards this lodge would be the one. Thanks for the Hospitality.

Very clean and tidy lodge. The host Nino was very courteous and friendly. We had very good time. The food was amazing especially the Naga stye chicken and pumpkin roast. The balcony has a very good view of the city scape and the lodge is very much within the city. The bunker beds are clean and well arranged.

Homestay run by Nino, centrally located in Kohima. Beautiful cozy rooms with amazing views and balcony. Nino was kind enough to help me my itenary and she has amazing staff for cooking, really delicious homemade food. I have given less rating as she charged me extra Rs200/ for me self washing my clothes, which I didn't like nor can agree upon. Despite my room charges she charged in addition saying they have water scarcity and she gets paid water. A big thumbs down for that.

A place like this with a 4 star rating is not justifed. Dirty Bedsheet , Food over priced , too tight parking space even for a bike . Otherwise it might be good in other's turns , wasn't in mine .

Centrally located homestay in Kohima. Nino's hospitality will make you feel at home and warm. The place can use some renovations and upliftment with few modern amenities which we saw happening during our stay.

I stayed at Morung lodge for a week while working remotely and I had a great stay. Nino, the host is very warm and you can easily strike a conversation with her to understand the local culture, history, places to explore etc. During my stay I also did DzΓΌkou Valley trek and went to Khonoma. The place has a lovely patio with lots of plants and a good view of Kohima. Also centrally located with the market, taxi stand, war cemetery, lots of restaurants all at a walking distance. They also have very good internet which was really useful for me since I was working during the weekdays. I would recommend this stay to anyone who travels to Kohima or is planning to do a workation like me.

Had a comfortable stay at the Morung Lodge last weekend. We were searching for budget friendly yet homely space in Kohima. The place makes you feel at home. Breakfast was complimentary. Loved the small terrace and the view is amazing. You can wake up early morning to some fresh air and the evening view gives you a brilliant glimpse of Kohima adorned in city lights. War cemetery is a 5 min walk from here. And most other places are easy accessible too.

Cozy homestay. Host is very friendly. She has a lot of patience. The cook makes some amazing Naga style food. Don't forget to buy some pickles for your journey back home.

Please confirm the rates before booking as the rates they tell you over the phone are per person, not for the room. For two people, 1000/person for a shared bath, no towels, no toiletries is not worth it. There are many places around with better rates. The caretaker was nice and polite.

Clean place and the host is very nice and friendly (she cooks well too). Also the location is less than one minute walk from the market, and the war cemetery can be easily reached by foot from here. Highly recommended.
