This is The Best' traditional Naga food Restaurant in Kohima. Period. Other places don't even come close to what this magical place offers in terms of Authentic Naga food. This is an ideal place for any individual to experience the truest form of Naga food outside the Naga home. It has a beautiful Naga traditional ambience too. It is located right in the middle of the town and opens till late at night( for Kohima standard). It is a cozy place, not at all fancy and pretentious and the food is just magical. One has to experience this place to have the full Naga experience! Rocky and Mayur ( popular food critics) have given this place a thumbs up too praising it for its delicious food (particularly its non veg dishes). This place is crazy good! Must try!

The food here is just okay. Pork with anishi curry was yummy but they could add more veggies or curry to the meal I guess. The place is clean and has a very Naga kitchen vibe. We ordered food that wasn't on their specific 'day' menu but they prepared for us anyway so yay! The staff here are polite. Considering the fact that there are very less places that serve Naga cuisine for lunch/dinner, this quaint old little place is a must try.

As the weather is unpredictable, pretty much impressed with the owner's thought to keep a basket for the wet umbrella's near the entrance. They seem to love the tradition, where the food is served on a clean leaf, gives us the wholesome experience of local food. If you are on your first trip then try the snail. It might be difficult but you can always take the help of locals there.

The fried rice was good but the chicken curry was raw.. Expecting more cooked next time👍

They weren't expecting a group of 10 barging in for their speciality for some time I suppose. Hence out of almost a a few dozen traditional items they could only serve us a few. To be precise one Rice thali with pork and anishe plus lassi. The rest of the mouthwatering dishes were left untasted as there weren't much they could serve us. But yeah you should visit this place if you are in Kohima.

A place with very traditional atmosphere and set up. The ethnic Naga dishes served here are superb. Mixed Soup Chow is my all time fav.

Not a cozy place to hang out but the punch point is; the place is very casual and you can enjoy fast cooked lunch.
