👍👍 I have really enjoyed living at The Annex! I have been a resident for three years now & I am super happy with the service provided here. It is steps from campus & I have met a lot of friends from living here. I've felt super safe here & I am thankful to be steps from where I go to school. It's easy... I lived in the Annex for almost 1.5 years. This place is conveniently located near IUK which is a huge plus for an international student like me or any other student who does not have a car. The new management is absolutely amazing, especially Jocelyn. She had always heard my concerns and promptly responded to my emails. The place in itself is good. Its just that the kitchen does not have enough cabinets for storage for two people. That can be a hassle but in all the utilities they provided were good. One of the biggest issue I had was people forgetting their laundry in machine. They wont pick it up for hours. And the laundry room has less machines and it feels kinda stuffy. And the other issue was SIMPLE BILLS because that company is a SCAM In all this is a perfect first apartment for any student who wants to save time and gas.

One of the worst places to live. Not horrible for a first place but do not stay more that a year. Packages are constantly goin missing or not being delivered. I went a whole 2 months not receiving any mail due to the office being locked when mail was being delivered.

I just moved in and I love it. There are a few scrapes on the door frames, and the paint is a little patchy but they did warn us of that when I moved in. They had issues with some vendors so I like that they warned us before hand. The kitchen is a nice space but I wish I had more storage space in the kitchen. I'm gonna buy a shelf on wheels for the utility closet so that I can make that a pantry since I don't have room for food. Other than those few things, the people were amazing helping me move in and it's close to the IUK so I don't need to bring a car to college. Love the location for school.

It's easy to get homework done & pop over to campus to ask for help when you live within 5 minutes of your classroom.

If you are planning to live at the annex of Kokomo you are better off living in hell. Not only did I live here for 4 years but there has also been four different managements that have taken over and is not student only housing. The neighbors are they worst and there have been break ins and robberies and they always loud and disruptive. The other tenants are always having parties and if you want to sleep you will have to call the cops on them. For my four years I was forced to have four different roommates because they all moved out. The first was a girl who dropped out of college. The second also dropped out of college. The third was not even a student. She was a 40 year old nurse who made my life a living hell by waking me up early destroying the apt, eating my food, and threatening me. And all Joyclyn did was told me “it was an equal housing act so she couldn’t do anything” after she left the apt she left the place a mess and my landlord forced me to clean it up and NEVER compensated me. Finally my last roommate was a stoner smoker who smoked in the house had an illegal dog and ruined the entire apartment. She had parties she infested the apt with fleas and stained the carpet I moved out before her and I tried to clean it up and I left my room literally spotless with no messes and definitely nothing other than normal wear and tear. They told me that everything was fine. Then I get a 550 dollar fine for damages to the apt and my bed room! The lease didn’t say anything that I had to pay for her mess and they replaced my carpet and I had to pay for it! Even when I presented evidence that nothing was wrong they said those photos were not eligible! Unless you want to be left with a large bill and forced to pay all of your tenants damages while you are given 4 years of hell then live here! Literally the worst people, they are all criminals and will scam you.

I really enjoy living at the Annex. The community environment is wonderful and there are many great things about living here. The staff are friendly, and they are excellent at helping you in whatever you may need. The events that they have are fun, and they are a great way to get to know other residents at the Annex. There are great amenities, such as the fire pit, that are available to all residents. It is also convenient to live steps from the IUK campus. While the price of rent may appear daunting, it is well worth it to live in such an amazing place.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Please stay way from this place that only cares about your money and how clean u keep the place. Not a bad place to live, but all they care about is your money. Was a victim of a robbery here and they absolutely refused getting out of lease early and was forced to pay over 6 months as a college student of payments while I wasn’t even living there not even in the same town. Not only that but after the lease was up I was hoping for my deposit back just to hear that apparently I owed 900$ to them for damages and owed payments (the funniest part was my apartment in the robbery wasn’t touched at all) yet somehow they started adding random things to the list of why I owe 900$ it’s honestly pathetic they can do this to college students but oh well they also got very very defensive when I called about the money owed I know it’s an unlikely situation but nobody could have handled it as bad as the annex lmao I even emailed contacted owners they don’t care at all better off somewhere else

Working here at the Annex has been extremely rewarding! I love all my tenants and all the people I work with from day to day. We have succeeded in many ways during my career path here. I look forward to celebrating The Annex and all the accomplishments we’ve made this far!

Since we have gotten new management, everything has improved. We get responses faster to our problems or requests, and always a warm welcome walking into the office. Not only that, but the Annex is also a short walk to IUK which is awesome😄
