What a great little place to stay, relax and dine. We had a fabulous few days. The menu is fantastic and so well priced for the quality of the ingredients and their culinary skills. Best coffee in Accra! The swimming pool was gorgeous and surrounded by a lovely tropical garden. We were even able to spot lots of local birds and butterflies from the comfort of the pool. This resort is run by a fabulously hospitable family who look after their guests. We thank them for all their help and advice.

Nothing is perfect , but I do have to say, even after all this years in Ghana, Kokrobite Garden is one of my "coup de coeur". Located in kokrobite ( though, the road to get it may be tricky , kindly use Google map) , the garden is located in a quiet and peaceful area. I do have to say , I did not think I would be amazed by such a garden. Once there , we got welcome by two lady at the entrance and we specified what we got there for and kindly gave us the rates and evrything. It' s a point to be welcome as such because it makes the experience starting on a good note. Secondly , for not wasting time to get food or whatever , we went tot the pool. From others review read , the food experience may vary according to people , but let us not be lying , Italian food is a must try once in a lifetime , ah aha ah. The pool is , Magnifico, I liked , actually we all like the design of the pool and the way , it has been made in such a way , there is one deeper side than the other. I almost spend my all afternoon there despite not knowing how to swim , aha aha ha. The whole experience, even if we did not try the food nor anything on the menu , was very amazing for the four of us. From the start to the end. I highly recommend, especially during the week days so that you might have the place for you alone. Grazie mille

When i visited i love the garden vibe. However, you could get distracted by neighbouring bars bashing loud music. The washrooms took me a bit off. Looks like they need some more maintenance. Anyways, entry is free and food there are no local food options. Menu is European/Spanish skewed for my liking. Nonetheless, i enjoyed the pineapple pizza even though is was weightless 😂

A very serene spot designed to encompass nature and some tranquility. Flowers, birds, sounds and scents of nature; this was what I woke up to in my budget friendly accommodation which came fitted with a fan, a double bed, shelf and a chair. The other room options come fitted with ACs which I did not opt for considering the cool breeze from the sea and shade from the trees. Their kitchen which runs till about 12 midnight served some good dishes but must I say these come at a $$$ rating considering their location, a good old fashioned Italian pizza was my no 1 pick as I shared the sitting area with other guests to watch some football. The road leading to the garden is not the best as it goes through the township but it sure is worth the trip, the beach is approximately 60m from the lodge and is accessible by a short walk. Do visit the pool area just before sunset to capture some amazing pictures.

We (1 white, 2 mixed race) went there in May 2023, everything nice, everything cool, we were told we'd always be welcome. 2 weeks later we planned to meet there with a friend (born and raised in Germany / ghanaian parents). Our friend looks very 'local' and was treated in the most disrespectful way. Only when the rest of us arrived the owner changed his mind. No thanks! => very bias place, will NOT go there again.

Customer service by one of the waitresses was very bad and the owner was sitting right there but didn't bother to ask about the situation when we displayed displeasure at what the waitresses did.

We travelled with our children (5 & 2) and mother in November 2023 and stayed in the house for a week. Caye was so helpful both before and during our trip. The garden is beautiful and everything was very clean. We ate a big breakfast every day and often had dinner there too. Everything was delicious and had the thumbs up from the kids too. We brought a mosquito net for the kids but everything is so clean we would have been fine without it. For our first trip out of Europe/North America as a family, Kokrobite Gardens made everything easy.

We ordered omelet and coffee. Nothing special about it other than the high price. Not worth the money. Also, they do not offer internet for restaurant guest. However, it is a beautiful place. Well put together.

Shared Toilet & bath facility is not hygienic with concrete flooring that’s always wet from the bath & I’ll functioning shower head - the bath & toilet is just about 5 square meters and a days rental can buy tiling to upgrade the facility !
