Authenticity
of
the
food
matters.
This
restaurant
serves
authentic
Indian
food.
This
time
around,
we
missed
the
Sarso
ka
Saag
which
I
had
the
opportunity
to
taste
about
5
years
ago
and
never
forgot
about.
Goat
curry
(aka
mutton
in
the
Indian
sub
continent)
is
something
I
try
every
single
time
I
visit
any
restaurant
belonging
to
that
region.
The
reason
is
that
goat
meat
is
lean
meat
and
requires
knowledge
and
preparation
for
properly
cooking
it.
It
is
like
a
benchmark
that
I
use
to
rate
restaurants.
I
tried
the
same
scale
at
Red
Pepper,
and
Oh
My
God!,
I
was
licking
my
fingers.
Thank
you,
aunty
Ji!
We
loved
the
food.
All
other
dishes
and
breads
including
naans,
rice,
daal,
paneer
and
butter
chicken
were
top
notch.
Serving
portions
are
about
right.
Although,
I
noticed
few
other
reviews
mentioning
smaller
portion
sizes.
That
is
possibly
because
Indian
restaurants
normally
offer
larger
servings.
I'm
happy
to
let
go
of
a
large
serving
for
an
authentic
taste
like
the
one
here.
Yet,
a
little
extra
would
help
me
stay
satiated
and
happier.
Waiting
time
can
appear
long
depending
on
how
packed
the
restaurant
is.
(I
guess
keeping
folks
busy
with
free
poppadoms
etc
can
be
a
good
distraction
while
they
wait).
Serving
staff
are
polite
and
friendly.
Worried
about
parking?
Leave
your
vehicle
at
home
and
take
public
transport.
This
restaurant
is
right
across
the
Parliament
station.
It
won't
be
long
before
we
are
back.
