However, our recent family vacation turned into a nightmarish experience at the saffron sulthan bathery Wayanad, where hospitality took a back seat, and a cascade of disappointments awaited us. Five families, excited for a peaceful getaway, were met with delayed food, compromised window security, a closed poolside, and a tumultuous argument that even involved the local police. This story narrates our journey from anticipation to dismay in the heart of Wayanad. The Agony of Food Delays: As our large group settled into the hotel, we soon discovered that the promise of prompt service was nothing but a mirage. The delayed food service left not just the adults hungry but also the children, turning what should have been joyous meals into frustrating ordeals. Our attempts to savor the local cuisine were overshadowed by the constant wait for a tardy service that tested our patience to its limits. Compromised Window Security for Children: Safety should be paramount, especially when families with children are involved. Shockingly, our accommodation lacked the basic security measures for windows, causing anxiety among parents. The feeling of vulnerability for our little ones overshadowed any attempts at relaxation, turning the supposed sanctuary of our hotel room into a source of stress. Closed Poolside and Unruly Behavior: The promise of a relaxing poolside experience was shattered when we found it inexplicably closed. Disappointed guests, including some who turned to alcohol for solace, created a tense atmosphere that culminated in a heated argument. The escalating situation prompted a call to the local police, turning what should have been a tranquil retreat into a chaotic scene. Navigating the Narrow Path: Adding to the frustrations, the way to the hotel proved to be an ordeal in itself. The narrow path leading to the hotel allowed only small four-wheel vehicles, causing inconvenience for larger groups like ours. The journey to the hotel became an unexpected challenge, setting the tone for what awaited us upon arrival. Conclusion: Our stay at this place in Wayanad was not the idyllic escape we had envisioned. Instead, it was marked by delayed meals, compromised security for children, closed amenities, and a disturbing confrontation that involved law enforcement. This blog serves as a cautionary tale for fellow travelers and a plea for the hotel management to reevaluate their commitment to hospitality. Wayanad's beauty deserves accommodations that enhance the experience, not detract from it. Very neat and clean environment.. Good place for kids to enjoy... There is a lot of place for kids to run and have fun.. Good breakfast.. A very nice stay in wayanad.. People can prefer saffron..

The hotel has an authentic cuisine and service. The staffs never failed to amaze us with all our needs. I even had an emergency issue,where the management has been a great helping hand . So it was a wonderful experience. Thank you Hotel Saffron for making our time so mesmerizing 👍🤍

As soon as we reach there, the surrounding environment will take us to a different experience. I liked the cleanliness as well as the food there. I liked the service we got from there.Even if it is the rooms, every thing they have prepared for us will surprise us a lot.

Very very nice and comfortable.... Middle of the city with full of access to all the location. Happy and pleasent stay. We almost searched more than 10 and visited 4 stays and finally came to saffron. With out any second thought we can go for it.
