Loved this place. I went there with a couple of friends who are regulars here. I loved the few hours we spent here. The ambiance was nice at the quaint rooftop. Service was quick and everyone was quite hospitable. The food was excellent and so was the presentation. I especially loved the tanra chilli chicken and the chicken kali mirch. However, the best part of the evening for me was the person singing, Mr. Swastik Bose. Kudos to Downtown for giving opportunity to such talents

Recently I was there with my friends and my mind totally blown after checking the amazing offers they are providing. Food starts from just ₹99/- (2PM to 6PM) Happy Hours (4PM to 9PM) 1:1 on entire Bar Menu (9PM to 11PM) I tried Kaffir Lime Lemongrass Infused Chicken Skewers with some drinks and the quality of the food was simply great. All the stars were very friendly here. I would love to recommend this place to everyone.

*Read till end* ( Review has been edited after 3rd visit ) The food was amazing. So was the drinks. We spent 3hrs over here. Ambience was good with soft music being played. Staffs were courteous. We had the following : ✅Fish n chips ✅Golden Fried Prawn ✅Indiana pizza ✅Murgh Malai Kebeb ✅Brownie with ice cream ✅Classic LIIT 2 rounds ✅Kingfisher Ultra Beer ✅Brain freezer hookah 1st visit on 1st week of April 2nd visit on 2nd week of May Now 3rd visit was yesterday 17th July. Huge difference in portion size and quality. Golden Fried Prawns which is around 450rs were small you can see the difference in my photos. Non crispy and soft. Utter disaster. Fish and Chips a lot of places provide bhetki 2 big pieces for Rs 400-450. Here you get baby fish fries a bit bigger than big size fish fingers. You can see the difference in size as i have uploaded both the photos. Even chicken malai kebeb was not good like before. May be it was a bad day for us. *Donot order hookah. The worst hookah in town. I complained about the double apple flavour which i have ordered. As there was no flavour only. They give so less coal that in 5-10 mins the smoke puffs will low down* *Big point : They add service charge on the bill. You have to check and tell the waiter to get it off the bill* Only good thing was the chefs special chicken salad.❣️ Will visit again after 2 months to check if there has been some improvement or not.

Best experience, the area is compact but arranged wisely....live music is awesome too. Drums of heaven in hot and sour sauce is just awsm 👌 👏

Nice food and ambience !! But with some major negative points. The points we didn’t like and were not fair: -They took huge service charge!! And we missed to notice it , otherwise we would’ve refused it, they didn’t explicitly mentioned it, which is not proper. -Clarity about the offer. We did order with some offers as described by one person , then another person came as said that we can’t take that offer. They should not contradict themselves. Visited this place a while back with my friends. The place has a beautiful vibe. They have two separate places where you can sit, enjoy food, and good music. One is the lounge bar and the other one is the roof top. Both of the ambience is amazing. Now coming to the food, food was too good. They have menu starting at ₹99 (From 2pm to 6pm) Happy Hours from 4pm to 9pm. And 1:1 on entire bar menu from 9pm to 11pm. A good experience, looking forward to visiting again.

Nice cozy place to hang out with friends or family 🪩 went there with school friends on Shosti we did prior booking before visiting this place, tasty food (pizza and French Fries with Dips, Fish Finger) 😋 price cocktail 🍸🍹 and alcoholic beverages are pocket friendly 🥃 if one takes a whole bottle if you have a big group it would be cheap rather than taking it peg wise. The ambience of the place is on the nicer side getting a view of the whole city somewhat (the highway, atmosphere many most remarkable spots). Service here is nice, they do arrange live performance on Saturday but the dj here is a bit loud 🔊 Overall had a memorable time here 😊

Downtown is a newly opened rooftop bar lounge, situated in Kasba, Bakultala more, just above Club Salon. Earlier it was a guest house but now they have converted it to bar, resturant and banquet hall. Downtown rooftop lounge is at the 5th floor. Brilliant road side view, good music, but compared to other rooftop it's bit small in size. Now coming to the management part, earlier they said that they have 2:1 offer on Kingfisher beer, but when we ordered it, they said no offer is there. Later on they again came back and said yes sir, offer is there. Food is okayish, the reason I am telling quality of the food is very average and served cold,infact portion is also not adequate. Apart from that everything is okay type, one time visit is okay. The main thing when they generate they bill , they charged service charge as extra apart from CGST and SGST, although we told them that we are not going to pay the service charge as extra. Later on, after long discussion they told us it's optional. I don't understand why restuarant charge it separately , people who don't know this, will pay it. My kind request if you see such thing don't pay it separately. They do have car parking in front of the building. We visited on 14th February for the 2nd time, to celebrate our valentine day. All the starters was just delicious and excellent. In the main course, we ordered Chicken Burnt Garlic rice, which was not upto to the mark. Usually, the taste is a bit different from the actual burnt garlic rice. This is one of my favourite item in Chinese , had in many Chinese restuarant. Their one disappoint me a bit, if you want to try it in a aunthentic style go for Shanghai/ Chowman. For side we ordered Hot Garlic chicken which was also okayish, could have been better though. Apart from these two items, every item was excellent. Even though they said Service tax is OPTIONAL, everytime they add in the bill with Cgst and SGST, which is very annoying. Please check you bill before paying it, as if any restuarant charges service tax separately don't pay it as it is optional. We had requested them to pay us back the amount, as we had already made the total bill amount. On the next day, got my service tax amount. As per government rules, a restuarant cannot charge service tax separately. Apart from these everything was fine and we had a great time there. Would I recommend it?? Good for one time visit. I still believe they need improve the food quality and mismanagement issues.

I had an amazing experience at this cafe/bar. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The menu had a great selection of drinks and food, and everything I ordered was delicious. The prices were reasonable, and overall it was a fantastic experience. I highly recommend this cafe/bar to anyone looking for a great place to grab a drink or bite to eat.

A classy rooftop with great food and music. Loved the place because of the ambience They serve quiet a variety of food, having the taste and presentation on point.

Went for a private birthday party, and had amazing curated menu and even amazing service. The Pizza was one of the best Thin Crust Pizza I had and their bar menu is also quite extensive. The top floor has a very nice rooftop view and that alone mandates a visit here.

Very near to Gariahat More . Public transport like auto, taxi, bus are all easily available. From gariahat more take bosepukur auto (auto fare INR. 10 in april/2023) and it will take 10 mins to reach @ downtown Kitchen & Bar. They have rooftop pub where hookah,alcohols are served. Moreover they have exiciting offer from 2pm-7 pm and 9pm-12am. Both Food & alcohol rates are pocket friendly and behavior of waiter, manager is very warm. They also provide complimentary drinks to women in ladies night. A great place to party on such a rooftop bar in pocket friendly rates is bliss for South Kolkatans.

Excellent ambience. Wide variety of alcoholic beverages available. Food could have been a little better. But charm of the place is the ambience accompanied by live music.

Worst experience ever The staffs are completely inexperienced, the hookah was too bad for that price, and the food was below average for that price and most importantly there was no music as well. So the prices are unnecessarily high compared to the over-all experience.

Awesome experiance. You should try it. It will make u very happy. Rooftop experiance is great. Various offer is there hourly basis, 99offer, 1:1 offer etc. Nice service spcially thanks to Bappa da & Utsav da for their guidance and service.

Food and ambience is very good. The staff are well behaved. The only thing for i gave 3 star is they have charged 10% service tax which is not acceptable.
