"A
LOTUS
FLOWER
FLOATING
ON
THE
MUD"
Cons
and
negatives
1)Location
Google
maps
location
for
1st
time
visitors
will
surely
confuse
you
to
reach
the
location
especially
at
night
time,
Took
us
almost
20mins
to
find
the
place
even
post
reaching
it
as
even
the
hospital
premise
beside
it
no
one
had
a
clue
about
"East
India
room"
Worse
part
no
telephone
number
listed
on
Google
to
ask
for
guidance.
2)Parking
After
finally
reaching
at
8:30
p.m
outside
the
rajkutir
resort
we
were
told
there
is
no
valet
parking
and
we
need
to
go
straight
then
right
to
park
the
vehicle.
There
were
no
sign
boards
suggesting
or
guiding
directions
for
parking
in
fact
a
no
parking
and
exit
board
is
all
that
was
shown.
Parking
spot
discovery
took
another
5mins.
The
location
from
parking
back
to
restaurant
is
a
5minute
spooky
walk
as
there
is
no
one
and
I
mean
literally
no
person
visible
with
the
old
havelli
kind
of
spooky
fills.
After
finally
reaching
the
resrurant
at
8:45
p.m,which
screams
out
delightful
Victoria
kind
of
ambience
with
a
bite
of
history
and
culture
of
Bengal
we
were
mesmerized
at
the
interior
planning
and
colors
and
it
took
away
all
the
stress
of
reaching
the
spot
as
it
was
worth
it
we
ordered
stuff
from
chefs
recomendation.
The
pros
and
the
borderlined
cons
Pro
#1)As
complimentary
welcome
drink
we
had
a
nice
gondhraj
Lemmon
soda
which
was
refreshing
to
go
along
with
bread
and
different
kind
of
butter.
We
were
excited
for
the
food
to
finally
dive
in
the
flavors
on
east
india
room
delicacies.
CHIMNEY
CLEAR
BROTH
The
soup
has
some
noodles
and
exotic
BOILED
veggies
served
in
a
bowl
with
some
hot
water
with
added
flavors
making
up
as
the
liquid
base.
To
our
utter
shock
the
soup
was
not
even
hot
so
we
asked
it
to
be
warmed
up.
So
he
asked
to
serve
the
starter
before
the
soup
which
actually
doesn't
go
with
the
feel.
STARTER
ARRIVES
BEFORE
SOUP
@9p.m
PRO#2)For
all
vegetarian
this
is
the
only
major
plus
thing
to
order
for
it
was
very
different
to
things
we
have
at
regular
restaurants.
Bandel
cheese
Malakoff
It
was
an
extremely
finely
made
starter
fried
layer
with
cheese
and
some
tofu
in
internal
chords
to
go
along
with
sweet
chutney.
Cut
2...Soup
re
arrives
@9:10p.m
With
only
a
slight
difference
in
warmth
which
hardly
lasts
for
2
to
3
mins.
#pleasehurrysir
To
another
shock
just
as
the
soup
came
the
waiter
comes
and
tells
us
at
915p.m
sir
last
order
is
at
9:30p.m
as
per
covid
rules.
It's
obnoxious
to
ask
someone
who
is
having
a
soup
to
jump
the
gun
to
order
main
course
in
the
interim.
P.s
in
the
exact
opposite
table
to
us
later
on
they
ordered
main
course
at
9:45
p.m
sharp
Anyways
we
went
again
as
per
chefs
idea
to
order
dal
makhani
called
national
high
dhaba
dal
and
cossimbazar
handi
paneer
which
is
just
like
the
paneer
butter
masala
in
normal
terms.Roti
falka
was
ordered
as
breads.
Average
stuff
The
good
part
was
paneer
was
fresh
n
veggie
was
hot,
Dal
was
slightly
spicy
as
a
5
year
old
child
was
with
us
couldn't
eat
it.
Falka
were
very
very
thick
which
is
very
rare.
The
good
thing
is
quantity
of
dal
and
sabji
were
very
good
so
next
time
between
a
family
of
2
adults
1
child
even
one
vegetable
is
enough.
As
the
resort
is
exotic
with
interiors
and
posh
with
prices
we
least
expected
u.p.i
payments
to
be
accepted
however
was
a
let
down
to
hear
only
cash
and
card
accepted.
The
sweet
stuff.
An
overall
average
experience
was
made
pleasant
with
a
brownie
cake
they
provided
us
as
it
was
my
wife's
bday.
The
portion
was
adequate,delicious
and
very
well
decorated.
The
manager
and
stewards
were
good
with
hospitality
apart
from
the
hurry
up
for
last
order
request.
All
in
all
a
once
a
lifetime
experience
to
remember
for
interiors
some
spooky
experiences
en
route
and
a
sweet
ending.
Do
visit
it
once
for
capturing
good
memories.
