Multiple 5 star reviews are fake. The beds are very hard. The lifts are near the room and they are very very loud. Along with doors of every room which make a lot of noise while closing. People start making noise at 5 o clock and it goes on till 11-12 pm which makes it almost impossible to sleep outside 12-5. Along with the fact that even if you have said them you will leave at a specific time, they will still buzz you and wake you up at 6 o clock. Just for the above reason you won't be able to sleep and if you are not able to sleep what is the point of the hotel? The room appears clean but in the hidden areas there are used cigarette. The washroom is not clean as much and there is no health faucet. Rs 850 for a small room with attached bathroom is outrageous amount without A.C. The Cheapest single room is very small and very claustrophobic My Window opens to dirty or clean area depending on where you get the room. Water tastes bad. Had to buy Bisleri from nearby shops. Hot water- Not running but available. Telephone in the room to call the service or the reception. Good connectivity to bus route and station nearby. Small soap given new for hand wash. Blankets given. Not very clean. TV sizes vary. Helper not available all the time. You have to call reception most of the time. Timings for some reson are 8am-8am no matter when you check in.

Worst experience ever. When we entered the lodge the owner said room price is ₹250 then we agreed to take the room, after that the owner said his staff to show us the room then the staff showed us the room after showing the room staff told the room price is ₹1400 then we moved down to the reception to confirm from the owner then the owner also said room price is ₹1400, this is pure cheating. They are making fool of people. And in the lodge people were drunk and was looking hooligans type. So I would suggest everyone not to go this lodge

It is just near the sealdah railway station.one of the oldest lodge .staff are good .

This lodge is good not better, all facilities are available but wifi is not available. Food facility available Water is available 24 hours Network availability is not good at ground floor (jio and BSLN) This lodge is neat and clean. Fair of this lodge between Rs 500 to 2000 depend on the floor and room facilities. Overall everything is OK..... Thanks you Purna Lodge and Guest House

From outside it looks nice but when you enter the hotel you can see dirty anywhere.. Rooms and toilets are not so clean. But receptionist both are very good.

Rooms are neat and clean, with best room service at moderate rate and have polite attitude. I'm happy with their helping behavior and room service.

I stayed in the room no 05 with my son. The room and the bathroom has no window. Even the bathroom has no ventilation system. Most ordinary hotel at the heart of Sealdah.

The hotel looks good from outside but the scenario is different from inside. The rooms are very dirty and so many cockroaches are there in the room. The bathroom is also very dirty.
