Gem of a place to procure handicrafts from Bengal. Srejonee did an awesome job of packaging the fragile 3 ft terracotta horse. It reached USA in perfect condition. Srejonee is a gem of a place if you are looking for traditional handicrafts of West Bengal. It is as much a retail outlet as an exhibition that celebrates the creativity of skilled craftsmanship on clay pottery, dokra art, bamboo and jute based articles, paintings (poto chitro), wooden carvings.... Excellent place to choose deco pieces and gift items that are elegant in their rustic sophistication yet very pocket friendly. What I especially liked was the way the history and process of creating these handicrafts were explained individually at the counter and the utmost care with which the fragile articles were packed and delivered. Kudos to the Srejonee team for bringing the spirit of Bengal into the city.

I was looking for these Bankura horses all over Kolkata, but in vain. Noone seemed to keep it these days, and even if they did it wasn’t the right size. Then finally I found this store online. I had almost given up hope when I called them, but Mr. Abhijeet Sarkar was happy to help. He got these beauties delivered to me in less than 2 hours, well packaged and ready to carry to Dubai. These horses fit perfectly in this little corner of my home, the colour is authentic and the details are beautiful. I am so happy with how they fit right in.

Mr. Abhijit from the store was very prompt in answering all my questions regarding the size, color, packaging and shipping of the product. The product reached Singapore in perfect condition. I am immensely thankful to Srejonee Art. The horse is elegant and traditional-and goes perfectly with my aesthetics.

hardly anyone is there to attend in the store. We purchased a gift for a friend and unfortunately we paid online and due to server issue the transaction details didn't show to the owner and he made us wait. Not only that, when we showed him the transaction and shared pictures, even after that the store person followed us and asked us to return the purchase as the owner was away and asked us to collect the purchased item only when the owner is back to the Store. Pathetic!!
