I have been visiting Beijing for past 15 years now. And, I know few waiters that are serving there longer than that. I know some of them by their names. During chit chats, they told me that the owner takes care of them and that's why they stay back and takes care of the restaurant. Employee loyalty is hard to find these days. Back to the food. Nice ambiance. Good seating arrangements. Courteous staffs. Fast response. Taste is what you can best get out from the Indo- Chinese cuisine. Its not a fine dining restaurant. Its simply for soul food. Its a family friendly restaurant and loads of birthday and anniversary celebrations happen there. Whenever we visit, we make sure we order their Clear Soup, Garlic Pepper Fried Chicken, Garlic Fried Prawn.

China Town is an old area where you will find many Chinese restaurants. This one is an old property and serves a variety of Chinese food, and you can also enjoy drinks. The food is good and hits the taste buds right. The area is somehow not very accessible; the road to China Town is very narrow, and during weekends it is difficult to find a parking spot. Overall, a good experience.

Located in Tangra, this is a good place for Chinese food. The service is blazing fast and the premises clean. The staff is polite and courteous. Ample parking available. The food here is great. Portions are good and the taste/flavor is on point. The food is literally ready in 5-10 minutes, but always fresh and tasty. We were happy to eat here, it is very filling and satisfying.

Tangra's claim to fame on the introduction of Chinese/Indo-Chinese cuisine is well known and while few restaurants in tangra in the current day and age still manage to produce outstanding food, Beijing is not one of them. This is based on eating out at multiple (indo-)chinese restaurants in Kolkata and tangra. The Good: Most of the appetizers here are excellent. Special mention for the golden fried prawns and the fried wontons. Excellent! Bad: Things go downhill from there. The main course gravies are barely distinguishable from each other and are watered down versions of what might have been a good recipe in the distant past Worse: Service is extremely poor, disorganised, confused and practically non existent. Price Points are moderate and not really 'expensive' nor 'cheap. Ambiance is passable but probably slightly better than other joints in the vicinity. Overall, hard to recommend for their food, or experience. Having said that, the food is not bad per se, but nothing exceptional that you need to travel here to have it.

One of the iconic Chinese restaurants in the Tangra Area. Approach to the restaurant is a bit narrow and congested. Food quality is authentic Chinese. I got cured of slight cough and cold having their soupy chow and garlic chilli chicken items. Service is very good and prompt. One potion is sufficient for two people.

Satisfactory experience. Food tastes moderately good not excellent according to the price charged. Overall good for family dinner or lunch. But don't expect too much of it. Overall nice and clean. Ambience is family oriented. Usually doesn't require pre booking.

One of the oldest restaurants in the city and it lives up to its name till date. There’s been no compromise in taste and quality of the food. The portion size is quite big easily 2 people can eat by ordering and one dishes. They serve alcohol as well and the price point is also quite good. To add the ambience is also quite warming and nice. It’s a must visit place to try authentic Chinese cuisines.

One of the oldest restaurants in Kolkata for Chinese food. Whenever I visit Kolkata I ensure that I do definitely visit the place. Crispy Fish, Golden Prawn Fry , Mixed Noodles or fried rice and garlic fish is a must try. Restaurant has vallet parking which gives a much relief from the parking issue there. Ample of seating area so great for large family food gatherings. So if you are looking for good quality kolkata Chinese then this is the place to be.

We loved their food. Tried their chilli garlic pepper chicken for started and Peking chicken with Beijing special fried rice for main course. All dishes were delicious and affordable! Service was a bit slow though!

A well-known Chinese restaurant in Tangra. Best suited for large groups, as I could gather that from their searing arrangements and preferences. Service is standard. Food is good both quantity and quality-wise. 1/2 soup is enough for 2 people. Except for parking, there's no issue as such. There generally is waiting on weekends so consider that when visiting.

Food quality is excellent. Atmosphere is very good.This is the authentic place of indian chinese food.Drums of Heaven, Chilli fish , Mixed fried rice, Mixed chow, crispy chicken every items were very good.

The main criteria that would attract people is the quantity that they serve. Also, they have maintained their quality over the years. Being a Chinese speciality restuarant, one can definitely visit this place and have a great meal at a reasonable price.

We went here for a lunch. We had to wait for some time. We tried one Chicken Lung Fung soup, then we tried Crispy Fish, Chilli garlic pepper chicken. They gave Betki fish in the crispy fish. There was not a single problem. Then we tried Chicken mixed chowmein. There were a lot of vegetables in the mixed chowmein like carrots, onions, spring onions. There were a lot of chicken present in the chowmein. You must try their soups and dumplings since they make the best dumplings. At first we had to wait but it was worth it.

This place is really nice for Chinese food and drinks and best way to go is via cab or personal drive. This restaurant located quite inside but price and quantity wise it's really awesome Most dishes are sufficient for couple. Their soups are really different and recommendable.

We celebrated my birthday here. Loved the ambience. Food was good too just don't try the cantonese rice...all the other dishes were pretty tasty.

Recommend !!! food are good , prices are reasonable,they haven’t changed for faulty food.But they violate West Bengal government rules regarding package water.They charged extra 10 rupees per bottle which is against Law at West Bengal. Staffs are very polite!

This is one of the oldest authentic Chinese restaurants in town, the food here is really good but won't satisfy the taste buds of people who like spicy food. The food quality is great and a good place to dine with your family. The price is a bit on the higher side and I would not call it very pocket friendly for the youth. If you want to take your family out for some authentic Chinese food you can definitely consider this place.

Not very good quality of food plus I wonder why they rename the original ethnicity of the food especially this lemon coriander chicken soup so called thai soup according to the FNB service team.... Since I'm a chef so I think I have a little bit knowledge of foods😂..How the hell is this Thai soup?? And as per the restaurant staff crispy chilly baby corn is served soggy and on complaining that why isn't it crispy they have the reason that different hotels have different end products... Very bad first experience..

Loved the Sunday Lunch at Beijing. Always a great fan of the food especially Hakka Chow. Appreciate the ambience and the staff behaviour.

I am giving the honest review and that is, the quality of authentic Chinese food of Beijing has been dropped. 7-8 years ago I used to visit Beijing frequently so know well about their food taste. But yesterday I went after a long time and not satisfied for authentic Chinese taste.

Mouth watering food. Take your family and friends for some awesome dishes. Serving size is sufficient for 2 or 3 people,valet service is available, seating area is decent.

One of the best Chinese restaurant in entire Kolkata. The food here is out of the mind. Present in the China town of topsia, this restaurant is the best of the long list of famous food houses present here. The food here is just mind-blowing and it is easy to access here by Uber. The ambience of the restaurant will make you feel hungry and the sweet aroma of good food will cheer you up. We ordered Sichuan fish(dry) and Chilli garlic pepper fish(dry) for starters. Then we had Shanghai chicken(gravy) and Chilli fish(gravy) along with chicken fried rice and schezwan chicken rice for our main course accompanied by a cold drink. The staff behavior was top notch and the portion size is great. The taste was lip smacking and food price was very pocket friendly as compared to other well known restaurants. I forgot to take my wallet and left it in the restaurant. When I remembered it was quite a long way from the restaurant so I called them and they said that it was with them. So I came back and collected my wallet from the waiters and gave them a ₹100 tip( they weren't happy with this meagre tip and made a grumpy face). Overall I heavily recommend this restaurant to each and everyone of you food lovers out there. Please visit it taste it and i am sure you'll love every bit of it.

Good place as Bar cum resturant you can bring your family, but only problem is parking, otherwise all very good.

Beijing is one of those oldies who is still maintaining it’s quantity and quality aspect with reputation,price is no more rock bottom though . Staffs are still very helpful and warm ,helps in choosing appropriate dish and you can enjoy in relaxed manner . Interiors are furnishings are not very upscale,but that is complemented by good food .

A trailblazer of a chinise restaurant in Kolkata's famed China town. Fantastic food, huge quantity ( one portion is enough for 3 persons), extremely fast and proficient service, tasteful decor, abiding by Corona protocols, valet parking everything is almost perfect. The only cons is non availability of "pork", an almost essential component of Chinese foods.

location and environment is good. food was awesome specially chilli garlic pepper fish and chocolate brownie. service is a little bit slow but its ok as they served freshly cooked food always. recommended for those who love Indian style chinese food and special mention: no pork dish is served here.

Located in Topsia, Near Science City, Beijing is one of the oldest and quite well known restaurant in that area. Loved the food and the portion size, along with that, the service was pretty quick too. Not a big fan of the decoration tho. Also as a Chinese restaurant, would've preferred more authentic Chinese options.
