As an ardent coffee drinker, I had been exploring the bunch of new cafes that have found their way into Kolkata in the last couple of years. While the busy College St and Bowbazar area usually sees passerby either looking for a quick cup of tea or that sherbet or that hot fried snack while continuing their exploration of the book shops and jewellers in the surrounding. Little did I know that I will find a cafe in the most unusual part of my city. Google suggested me of this place and I thought to give it a go. The place will strike at the first glance with that giant wallpaper of the Victoria Memorial that also served as a great backdrop for my photos. Coming to the food experience - I also being on a run, only needed to satiate my coffee craving so ordered only a latte. The coffee was wonderful and strong, just the way I like it. So a 10/10 on coffee. Ambience - you wouldn’t expect an expansive cafe in this location so be prepared to sit inside a cosy upstairs seating area. Staff - So warm and welcoming! I wished to keep talking more and listen to their story. Indeed a beautiful conversation it was. Overall - Great place for a quick coffee break as I believe there aren’t any good options out there. Don’t miss the photo opportunity with the wallpaper upstairs!

Well decorated and organized place, behaviour of the staff/owner is too humble and friendly.. I would like to comeback here again (specially for the delicious fruit custard with icecream)..

A tiny place but great for a cosy dining experience, for a short adda with friends or family. We were treated well and liked the food.

Very good experience on 1st visit! 😋😋 loved it! When it opened, the price was low, but when I visited for the 2nd time, after few months they made a huge hike in all the food prices, They also changed the menu, all items not available, then I got less quantity! Not going there anymore! Sorry to the owner with whome I talked! The cafe was quiet good at beginning!

I liked the fact that there is now a cafe in Bowbazar to go to! The Masala French Fries were very tasty and it took us 2 minutes to devour. The chicken sandwich was a little less in salt but tasty none the less. The people operating the cafe were very friendly. Looking forward to my next visit and trying the other menu items.

Cafe Bowbazar is a quite good place to have foods and spend time with your favorite ones. A small space, yet well organized and decorated. Very pocket friendly place to fill your stomach. Location is very easy to find the place. Had chicken mayo pasta there, it tasted quite a bit good. But cheesy chicken sandwich was so mouthwatering, it was damn so tasty. And the behavior of the owner who serves himself is so charming and behaves very well. A very good place to spend a evening.

Old Calcutta charm with taste of new Kolkata. Best Mocha I had in this trip. Any one likes their coffee must try this place. Oh and don’t forget to try the fish fry. Thanks to lovely host and the excellent barista.

I visited the cafe on 3rd of this month after a long delay and needless to say the visit was worthwhile. We were two and accordingly ordered two cold coffees (one without sugar), french fries and Chicken Mayo sandwich for which the bill came down to 600-50 and it was fulfilling. The quantity the quality, neatness, hospitality, air conditioning. I'm a coffee fanatic and very particular about the way my coffee tastes. The coffee especially took my heart. It was the perfect amount of strong with the aroma at a considerable amount. Looking forward to pay my visit often as the coffee got me sold.

Visited this cafe during the Durga Pujo, 2023. Service was good. Staffs and owners were very polite and down to earth people. Taste was good. Quantity was a bit less as compared to the price range and quantity provided in other places. Ordered Chicken Mayo Pasta, it's was served in paper plates. It might be due to Durga Pujo rush. This place does not have a washroom. Can not specify abou parking facilities, I walked to the cafe during Pujo.

Very classy and professional service of the cafe attracted me a lot. Being the first day they served each and every customer with grace. I had veg cheese sandwich and coffee. It was a great experience.

This is one of my recent discoveries in the list of cafes and most importantly in the Bowbazar locality. They serve quiet a variations of coffee with their in house grounded coffee at a reasonable price. They also have quick munchies which you can grab along with your choice brew. Cozy place for a couples, friends as well as loners to stop by and experience the charm of cafe. The cafe is single handedly run by the owner couple who are graceful host. Do check out the place and thank me later! 😉

The hospitality was simply amazing. Extremely polite and professional behaviour. Coffee was a little pricey but it was pretty good. Fries were as good as McD and pretty cheap only. Do visit once.

Yesterday my birthday was celebrated at here. I sspent near about 1:30 hours with my two close friends and my special person. I was gone at 3:30pm and return 5:00 pm. There was a nice atmosphere. We spent some memorable moments. I am very satisfied to visit the cafe. And the most important thing that we get a nice behaviour from the person of the cafe. A good place for lovers of genuine coffee. Also, you can wind down without burning a hole in your pocket. There are student discounts as well. The service was good, too. All in all, a coffee house I would visit again!

One evening I have visited in cafe bowbazar with my brother really enjoyed the time together specially the food which we have ordered pasta,fish fingers,cold coffee with ice cream and hot coffee really worth it....Ambience and specially behaviour with the customer is really appreciable.... So I would definitely recommend all of you to visit in cafe bowbazar 😊

We had chicken cheese sandwich, served with French fries. Sandwich was a perfect blend of cheese and chicken. French fries was crisp outside with a soft core. Also ordered fruit custard with ice-cream which was also great. They just need to maintain this quality and would soon be rocking
