This is an important metro station because of Rabindra Sarovar. A lot of commuters rely on the metro services. The station is clean and well maintained. The staff is polite and helpful. One doesn't have to wait long to get the tickets. You can get buses and auto to Tollygunge, Ballygunge and Behala from here. The only drawback is that the station is far from Tollygunge phari. Had it been a bit closer, it would have been easier. #metrostation

Amazing metro station . just like other metro station. At peak hours it is overcrowded but due to the frequency of metros the crowd is not for a long time .. Clean and good station with displays of next metro. You get weight machine , you can use it for 5 rupees to check your weight. You have seats for seating and waiting. Good lighting and escalators work perfectly.. Ticketing system if also good. Uploading some images for reference.

Metro is the easiest possible way to get to anywhere in Kolkata city especially during non office hours it is the best way to travel. All metros are air conditioned and generally not too crowded fare is same as buses but it is more comfortable than a bus.Metros generally have a lot of gates on different ends of the location so if you are a tourist and have come to Kolkata easiest way to negate traffic and travel without a waste of time then metro is the way to go.

It's as usual as other Kolkata metros. Nothing much about it except the rumour of ghosts loitering after midnight. Who knows this place might be a secret meet-up for the soulful spirits 😄

Its clean & nice metro station, its often crowded in the morning & towards evening. Its near Rabindra Sarabar. You can visit there for catching the "last" metro as the station has witnessed highest number of suicides + accidents of all metro stations & some claims it to be haunted(only for last two metro timing). I never experienced it nor i care about such gossips.😂😂 Its attached with train station(Tollygunge Station) as well.

The station has the name of South Kolkata's Rabindra Sarobar, a man-made lake, and its neighbourhood. The station Kalighat towards Noapara and Dum Dum comes before the station Mahanayak Uttam Kumar towards Kavi Subhash.

Spacious and quiet station atmosphere. Location is great. Easily accessible to Buses, autos and Trains. But the automatic smart card update machine is out of work.

Nothing but your typical metro station in Kolkata. This metro station and Tollygung Railway station is in the same place, just beside one another. Ravindra sarovar is just 10mins walk from this metro station. You can also go to Lake mall, South City mall from here by auto.

One of the cleanest and busiest metro stations as it has Tollygaunge Railway station Conjoined. It's super airy and super clean. The Metro gate 1&2 is on the Northern side (towards DumDum) and is great if you Wanna Go to Menoka Cinema hall , Lake Garden/Dhakuria Lake Towards Rashbehari or wanna take Auto for Jadavpur Thana/8b. On the Southern side Gate no. 5&6 is there at the chokepoint of BHAVANI CINEMA hall. It will get you closer to Anwar Shah Road ,South City etc towards Tollygaunge (area, not to be confused with the Railway station)
