Located inside Diyasaru Uyana. 100 rupees entrance fee at the time if this review to enter into the park. Tall enough to see the surrounding area. But i have seen more birds while walking here than from bird watching platform.

This tower is a great addition to Diyasaru park. We had a nice time here climbing and watching nature. Kids loved it. The tower is about 25 feet tall. You can see a long distance when you climb to the top. We saw many birds flying, foraging food and diving into the water bodies. Its better to bring a binoculars. There are 3 decks and levels on the tower. Each offers a new angle to look at the surrounding nature. From the top most level also see far off buildings and skyscrapers in Rajagijriya and Battharamulla. Its made of wood. For safety reasons limited number of people are advised to climb the tower.

Good place for watching multiple species of birds. You definitely require binoculars or spotting scope for a closer look.

Nice and calm location for birdwatching and photography

Beautiful place. Hot spot for some beautiful sri lankan birds. Highly recommended.
