Went there few times for a dinner out and an anniversary party. The hotel was really beautiful with its stunning modern architecture. Foods are also very delicious and quality. They are in a reasonable price. Had such a memorable time with my family. The lake next to this majestic hotel adds more beauty. Also great service from the staff and the guards. Definitely a hidden monarch in the heart of Colombo.

Hi, I participated a wedding that was held at the reception hall. It was my first time there and I must say the venue is lovely! The interior is glamorous and hats off for the back end staff for the great food and service! Very quality food! We have already planned to visit again! Keep it up!

Great dinning concept. Lovely location with a variety of food choices. The out door area is lovely. The Chinese food we had was great. Not oily and each dish had a distinctly different taste and flavour. The food was served with no delay considering the large number of dinners at the time. Deshika who served us was friendly, helpful and always had a smile!

There was ample parking space, even though the venue was brimming with people. The outdoor tables had enough distance from each other that we were not disturbed, but it was pretty crowded (Saturday night). Not a place for a quiet meal. (At least on the outside tables.) If you went into one of the restaurants, you could only eat their food. Outside, you could order from any restaurant. However, it was extremely hot, no fans for the outside tables. The children had a lot of room to run about in the garden. We ordered Japanese, Thai, Chinese, and Western cuisines. The only one that was notable was the sushi - it was very good. The rest was average - not too bad, not too good. Reasonable portions. Service was excellent - friendly and helpful.

Two of us went there around 6pm. Had a beer and ordered some small dishes from the “Capital Tavern” bar. Ordered dishes; 1.COMBO PLATTER - fried prawns were so so good!! Best I ever had.!!!😁 ⭐️ 2.PULLED PORK SLIDERS.- good Overall, portions sizes were really good! Food was amazing! Awesome place! Hope they’ll keep up this good quality!

Dinned here twice and take away a few times. Love the ambience and the food. Helpfully staff members and service. Spacious parking. However they need to allocate a proper parking plan for takeaway clients. Many times we had to walk along way to the car. Pls allocate parking slots closer to the entrance so that takeaway clients can come in and get out fast.

Been there a quite a number of times for functions and for dinner. Each time I was impressed by the presentation and the attitude of the staff. Food is great and slightly on the expensive side compared with other similar haunts in Colombo. Car park is massive and there are no parking problems. Definitely a place to have fun and wind down the day and also a great place to host your friends from abroad!

We had our office anniversary party here. Came to know it has the largest pillar-less hall in Sri Lanka. Situated slightly off the city limits with natural beauty surrounded. The hall is great to have large events, the buffet is great. Interior is great for photo shoots. Build to the latest architectural styles. Have a good car parking space. Recommended for larger parties and events.

Visited here with my office colleagues for a lunch. We really enjoy it. Food are tasty and well served. The staff are friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed the place. They have given us a room for our team. Room is clean and ideal for team to have lunch or a dinner with some discussion.

Yesterday i came for a private birthday party. got sweet and sour chicken, prawns and fried rices and noodles all food was great. Good place to have a family and buddies too.. One thing i got disappointed with the fish dish, was bit salty, Chinese restaurant guys have a small look. Other then all superb and very friendly staff, much appreciated..!!

Delicious food, great service and a wonderful atmosphere with live music. Only feedback is it would be perfect if there were some fans in the outdoor area as the heat is stifling. We were able to shift indoors to the air-conditioned space and all was ok. Really good service by the waiting staff. There was wheelchair access provided with assistance as well. Also catered to Vegan dietary requirements as well.

Me and my colleagues when to have a dinner and the overall experience was nice. A good vibe and good food. We got what we expected and we were happy to visit Monarch Imperial Restaurant. Food choice was vast and we got decent potions of each we ordered. Overall a nice dinner.

I enjoyed a wonderful meal at Monarch Imperial. Since it was my friend’s birthday, we decided to celebrate. You can bring your own cake, which you can give to the restaurant management, and they will arrange it for you, or you can buy one from them. It's best to make reservations in advance, as weekends tend to be particularly busy. There is plenty of parking available, and as soon as you enter the building, security staff with handlights lead you to your parking place. I had a great experience with this. We were allowed to order from other restaurant menus even though we had a reservation at their Chinese restaurant, "Imperial Palace." When booking a table, you have the option of indoor, outdoor

Really good choice of dining, from local to Chinese, Indian,Thai and even Pizza. It's a nice venue, and beautifully decorated, like dining in 5 star class hotels. The service was good and you can get private rooms for your group or events.

This is one of best hotel in Colombo. The dining experience was absolutely delightful. Parking available for more than 100 vehicles. The place is clean and well maintained and the staff also friendly.

Delicious food and wonderful atmosphere. There are different Restaurants for different cuisines. But you can order from any of the cuisines. Starters were the best. Margarita was excellent. When we finished our dinner we went outside and sang with the band passing in the terrace. Good to visit this place with a crowd. They also have private dining rooms available for a crowd to dine and enjoy.

This is a perfect place to have your family or friends gather... a worthwhile ride from any place around Colombo to here. variety of choices for foods is available... Had a family dinner out at their Indian restaurant. The place, ambience was really calm and good. Food was also delicious with generous portion sizes. Most importantly their staff was really pleasant and supportive. Overwhelmed with their superior customer service. This place is highly recommended for any type of outings.

This was a great experience! They have both indoor and outdoor seating and also private rooms if you would like a more intimate experience or to host a private party. They always have live music at night and if you are seated outdoors, and the ambience is energetic and very lively! Their staff were absolutely incredible when we visited. They truly went above and beyond to ensure that we had an enjoyable meal. If you are visiting any of the restaurants, you can order from any one of them and have a nice mixture of food which is great. They have diverse food options!! The food was also very tasty and the portions for most of the rice dishes are quite large. Their drinks, and cocktails are okay - they could be better. However they do have a lower price point compared to most other restaurants. The most disappointing were their mocktails, the flavorings that they use were not that good. I’d recommend avoiding those.

We went to the restaurant of Monarch Imperial for dinner. The hotel looked beautiful at night. They have a huge parking space. Since it was a Monday, they did not have a buffet. But you can order Sri Lankan, Chinese, Indian, or Thai cuisines from different menus. They have arranged tables both inside and outside of the restaurant. The inside area is air-conditioned. The food was delicious and not too expensive. The service of the staff was good and friendly but not too efficient with the big crowd. All in all, the whole experience was good!

Private dining rooms, inside dining and outdoor dining options are available. Make a reservation before you go. Large vehicle parking space. Prices are bit higher. Went for dinner and we were overwhelmed with the service and the hospitality. Hats off to the staff from the security service to restaurant managers for their awesome, enthusiastic and friendly service. Food was delicious. With out doubt the food stay in the first five most flavorful meals we have had from hotel restaurants. Potion sizes were adequate and good value for money. We really enjoyed the hygienic private dining facility since we went with a two year old. Overall, the place is highly recommended and will surely list as one of the must visits for a foody 👍
