Amazing personal attention by the management team on my visit on Wednesday, great new overnight option in Komatipoort. Great staff, food and service, would most certainly stay again.

13 March 2022. Ordered lamb chops for R215. Delicious. Well done chef. Gave the waiter, named Freedom, a tip of R35. He said, “Ok” with the most condescending tone then looked away. I then said, “Well I can always take it away,” only then he gave a disgruntled “Thank you.” Strange encounter with an entitled foreigner whom I was legitimately friendly towards. Promote him to a higher position so he doesn’t have to deal with us mere customers.

Ecolux Hotel very nice place, I stayed for a period of two weeks. The hotel stuff was wonderful to me, I was treated like a king. Th room are very specious, beautiful, and clean. Nice restaurant facing a nice well maintained beautiful gardens. I will surely call agian.

We were disappointed. The ouside area is nice. But the food was below average and expensive. Bathrooms were dirty. Decor tacky.

A superb stay! The only place I'll stay when in Komatie. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Don't leave without having the Malva pudding! Almost made me cry it's so good. All the other food is outstanding. Staff went out of their way to make me feel at home and comfortable, even packed me breakfast for an early departure.

Friendly service, great for a stop over to Maputo.

Prudence Masango, Zodwa Ngala and Sphiwe Makuvube made my stay a memorable one 🙂 they make good cocktails and their service is great. Went with colleagues and we had an awesome time. Very quiet and comfortable, I recommend it for anyone looking to relax and unwind 🙂.

We ordered food and wait for 1H47 minutes. After that they chase as that it was full booked. What a disgrace

Location is good and restaurant food and workers wonderful. Not so clean the shower stay in in the room beside the bed no privacy at all and every thing electrical is in danger because of the condensation. Aircon makes funny noises all night keeping you awake

This facility advertises itself as a 5 star hotel but we experienced no 5 star hotel. The breakfast takes more than an hour to be served even if its only two tables to be served. The food was not motivating to eat and it was like a very low budget breakfast for a supposedly 5 star hotel. Our en-suite toilet was smelly and had visible dirty stains on the wall. The sitting area next to our door was always dirty with water logging on one of the broken floor tile. The rooms are clearly not maintained. The bathroom is inside the room next to the bed, without any doors on both glass entrances. No privacy when bathing, steam will be everywhere in the room and water spilling out through the bathroom glass entrances. This was our worst ever experience for a 5 star hotel.

For a five star hotel and boutique and restaurant this is the worst service we ever had in Komatipoort we refused to give a tip for the utterly poor service the food was okay but the service and attention to detail is much to be desired if I was to Rate this place it would only be 2 stars

What a lovely Boutique Hotel about 10km from the Lebombo border to Mozambique. 8 km from the Kruger Park Crocodile gate. 5 star rating but priced so reasonably. Wonderful restaurant on site with a lovely menu.

Lovely ambiance, a good place to relax after work activities. Food is on point as well.

Had a great stay away from home. I do recommend a visit for the experience

Absolutely stunning! Great food, wonderful, welcoming friendly staff, incredibly luxuriously beautiful rooms, and overall a fantastic experience. Definitely would recommend!

No back up generator. SA's infamous load shedding!. It's 3am. Hot stuffy room. No AC working. I need power for a C.pap machine. It's a nice room, nice gardens.

Loved my stay. Had a wonderful spa treatment too. Service from the staff was friendly and helpful. Staff deserve a had of applause for being so wonderful. Thank you for hosting us.
