Well-kept and very welcoming lodge, kind and attentive staff. The rooms are large and the food is excellent. Located inside Marloth park, a reserve close to Kruger park, with the presence of many animals. Highly recommended.

The best customer service we have ever received, if you are familiar with Club Med, I would even dare say that Grand Kruger Lodge has better service! Highly recommed using their package to go to the national kruger park - our guide (Welem) was extremely knowledgable !! Will come back soon!

We can absolutely and unreservedly recommend the Grand Kruger Lodge! We were there as a family of 4 and had a wonderful time. You immediately feel at home and welcome. The staff is incredibly friendly and takes great care of you. Children are also very welcome here. The atmosphere on site is great. We had a chalet for 4 people - the chalet is super spacious, very clean and well equipped. The pool is great for relaxing after the safari and the food is great. Thanks again to the great chefs! In the evening you can sit on the beautiful terrace or around a fire for a sundowner. The location of the lodge is perfect for safari day trips into the Kruger National Park - these can easily be booked through the lodge or done on your own. The lodge itself is located in its own reserve, which is home to many animals - we encountered the first giraffes shortly before reaching the lodge. Kudus, monkeys and warthogs come and go on the lodge grounds. A big thank you again to our great and super professional safari guide Becky, who spent an unforgettable day with us in Kruger and from whom we learnt a lot about the Natiponal Park, the animals and life in this part of South Africa in general. Great guy! All in all, full marks for this great lodge with its world-class staff! We would really really love to come back!

What a superb lodge! We were welcomed by the very friendly personnel, who made us feel at home directly. They took every effort to help us and to think with us for planning activities. A nice quiet place next to Marloth Park, with beautiful decoration and pleasant terraces. What strikes us was the excellent attention for details, won’t disclose so won’t spoil the surprise 😉 Thanks a lot to the full team at Grand Kruger Lodge for making our stay unforgettable!

We have come many of times to this Lodge and will keep coming back. We always feel at home the staff very friendly and going out of their way. Over the years we have seen many positive improvements to the benefit of the guests. Even the animals keep coming and are taking into consideration in every way when it comes to new buildings or improvements. It's our soul place and we absolutely love the friendly and family atmosphere. Well done guys keep it going. C you next time hopefully soon.

A truly wonderful family experience, the staff and service are second to none. The communal areas restaurant and bar are wonderful, rooms are on the small side, and they need a little updating but functional

Everything was perfect, my family and myself loved our 5 nights stay at the Grand Kruger. The location, the lodge, and most importantly...the staff! All was made to accommodate us, we asked for specific meals and all was prepared and organised for us...we felt just like home. Everyone was so lovely and willing to help, the service was just perfect. We also really enjoyed the food... breakfast and dinner were of high quality. And of course, the organisation of the Safari's was just perfect! Thanks to the team, staff and management!

I've often been at the lodge - unfortunately never as a guest but the lodge has an awesome atmosphere and you definitely feel like you're in an upmarket lodge "somewhere in Africa".

Absolutely stunning place in the middle of park, You can only hear nature all around you, Free roaming deer , boar and impala are a pleasant site, The property is well maintained with room decor, The staff is excellent and helpful, Food is well maid with a good selection , You can’t go wrong with this place, There are options for safari and horse riding as well, We will definitely visit again

We were guests at Grand Kruger Lodge over Christmas and we had an amazing stay. The service was awesome and staff was friendly and helpful. They made sure that our stay was perfect. We will definitely go back and I can definitely recommend it.

We loved our stay at the Grand-Kruger Lodge and Spa. The Staff is so friendly and welcoming, we immediately felt like home. The food was excellent and the rooms were cleaned every single day. At night when you come back from dinner, your bed is made ready for you to get a wonderful sleep. Not only the service is very caring about one’s comfort, there is love in every detail that we appreciated so much. The Lodge offers a variety of Spa Treatments, that we can highly recommend as well! The Ladies are sweet and give wonderful Treatments that we couldn’t imagine in any better way- and at the same time being in the African bush! All in all it was one of the best experiences we had so far from many many years of traveling to South Africa! Thank you for the warm welcome and the excellent hospitality!

The Grand Kruger Lodge is peaceful, immersed in nature and offers a treat for all the senses (from wildlife; nice architecture; water features to harmonize with the crying insects; restaurant). The friendly and attentive staff afforded us a very pleasant vacation. Enjoyed the variety of the restaurant: from new scrumptious dishes to the table decor adapting to compliment those dishes. One evening, each waiter dressed in her/his traditional attire. This, among other fine details, made each visit to the restaurant a unique experience. After dinner, expect to find your room/chalet prepared and ready for you to sleep. Prep' includes drawing the curtains and adjusting the room temperature/aircon. All thanks to the second daily housekeeping. Besides reasonably catering for our individual requests, the Grand Kruger Lodge also took initiative to further personalize our stay in such nuanced and unique ways. For example, on the morning of our game drive at 5am, the music playing in the restaurant was that of a musician from our home country.

Beautiful setting! The Spa is amazing and dining on the veranda under the trees is relaxing. A real hidden gem in Marloth.

The staff is so friendly. I went for two spa treatments in one week. They are really masters in what they do. I would definitely go again when visiting Marloth Park.

More than likely the best message I have had. The spa took good care of me and Arlene and the 2 ladies where more than excellent. So around the country should send there staff for training ne thinks. They are well price for the excellent service that they offer.

We rarely recognized such warm an welcoming hospitality by the whole service personal. The lodge is in the center of Marloth Park. The accommodation doesn’t miss any comfort including cleaning service several times a day. Additionally you recognize that local craftsmanship creates a real South African attitude, including zebras, kudus, impalas and monkeys right next to you during dinner and breakfast. William, the safari guide is a seasoned expert with an excellent view for the animals behavior and always taking care of their well-being. The kitchen provides a broad selection of dishes with a lot of creativity to implement your individual preferences. I can highly recommend to order the soups. We’re looking forward to come back!
