This sea beach is 3 km far from Sun temple. This beach is located on the way to Puri from Konark Sun Temple. This sea beach is named after Chandrabhaga river which joins sea here. Formerly Chandrabhaga was considered a place of natural cure for lepers. Here the sea waves very strong during full moon & night moon.

Wow... What a superb beach!!. Very clean beach and we entered the beach from little far, less crowded place. It was almost noon time but was not very hot as we visited in November. This beach has a lot of crabs. Very good spot for wedding shoots and movie shooting. Plenty of car parking and is nearer to the konark temple.

5* rating for this place always. If you are in Odisha for visiting Puri, Do visit The Sun Temple with a splendid deive in Marine Drive. Even though the recent cyclone has affected this area, Odisha Govt is always proactive in protecting this place. Its a place of our pride. Lets keep this place clean.

It is located near chandrabhaga.If anyone sent to Sun temole,Konark and want to visit sea near the temple.This is the best place to visit sea beach.This is 4Km away from the Konark sun Temple.Try to return by evening if you go there.There are few chances to get robbed.

One of the best beach . 2km from Konark temple. Water level is very very High. High tides and waves are very high. Please be on mind, don't go more inside it. Some Andhra people doing their fishing man job. Fish price is very cheap. . Very good place.. please visit and have a great day.

The beach is crowded in the prime location of chandabhaga, which is a popular tourist and religious destination. People take a holy dip and witness the sunrise here during Magha saptami and also on other days that they consider is auspicious. However, if one is interested in experiencing the beautiful bay of Bengal sea, then drive along the coast line towards puri from Chandrabhaga and stop over on the way, there is plenty of access to the sea Beach, where one can stroll a long stretch uninterrupted by noise. There are many resorts popping up along this beach both private and public, such as lotus resort, eco retreat where accommodations on tents and cottages are possible. Such resorts offer a host of water and sand dune sports to entertain the public. Lately a lot of bar have come up here that promotes cheap music together with alcohol, which is counter productive in my view. Nevertheless, I generates additional revenues.

It was a beautiful experience. Less number people, clearer waters. No noose except the soothing sound of the waves. A beautiful sight. Recommended during off seasons.

One of the best beach to watch sunrise or sunset or even to relax. Beautiful blue water and less crowdy. Even a beautiful drive through this beach is also a proper attraction. If you have a drive option must go to this place.

Food shacks are not available near beach you need to go to market in front of beach. Restaurants are also not hygiene and food is not tasty. Keep your food items with you while visiting. Beautiful beach enjoyable with family specially in early morning

Sunset in the beaches always bring some peace to mind

Sunset view is the most beautiful in this beach. Not much suffer from crowd. This side sea is dangerous than puri side beach.

I visited on the 1st January with my group of friends. It was an absolute delight to be on the beach. It was a perfect road trip from Bhubaneswar (approx 65 kms). Although it is situated in the eastern coast of India, its location is such that you can see the sunset. And it looks really beautiful.

Spent very less time here but the experience was good. There are many private toilets who charges good amount of money so try to avoid or manage to do before interning. The view is awesome you can spend some time here in front of the sea.

It's a clean beach with less crowd. Perfect place during covid. Suggest to go in group. Be precious during evening and night time. But at the last is a great place to spread time with frnds and family

One of the most beautiful beach of Puri, actually it's near to Konark Sun Temple and the sea waves are a little rough.

This a lonely beach with fresh air and an awesome view of sunset. Not very ideal for bathing.

My most favourite place to relax and rejoice

It's a lovely , less populated and a much cleaner beach compared to Puri beach.
