We had an incredible time at Meersburg Altstadt! Despite the rain, the charm and beauty of this place shone through. The cobblestone streets, medieval architecture, and stunning views of Lake Constance created a truly enchanting atmosphere. Exploring the quaint shops and cafes was a delight, and the rain only added to the cozy ambience. This picturesque town is a must-visit for its unique character and the warm feeling it leaves you with, rain or shine!

Cobble stone alleys lined with bakeries, shops awaits you at every corner. It’s super romantic to take a stroll here.

In the Volks Bank in the centre of the Altstadt you can get small change in tubes. The charge for each tube is 2 euros but it is probably worth it given the need. Tubes of euros are 25+2eur each and 50cent are 40 coins or 20+2 euros.

Cozy and charming medieval history in a safe pedestrian zone and walkway along Lake Constance.

Meersburg is a charming city, with a significant offering of entertainment options, from great restaurants to the oldest medieval castle in Germany, a mineral store, and a karaoke bar. A nice size old city, big enough to walk from end to end, a nice promenade on the shores of the Constance Lake, elevated views of the lake, cafes, and more await in Meersburg.

This town is pretty good in general, with nice castles and beautiful scenery. But it is filled with lots of tourists.
