Visited end December. The frozen waterfall sitting right next to a flowing one was pretty cool. You can enter underneath one side of the flowing waterfall for some decent shots (see below). Just a 30+ minute drive from Tallinn. My friends personally would further like to recommend the lavatory facilities.

Wow! What a powerful place! I went there in winter and spend time there just by myself. Fresh snow everywhere, natural looking water at the frozen stone wall! Really enjoyed walking around and I recommend everyone to do the same. There are two spots where you can have a look to the waterfall and the other parking place on the other side is also a really nice perspective. 30 min by car from Tallinn, toilet boxes around - very peaceful and worth to visit.

A gorgeous view. As a tip: at the parking side of the river, there's a wooden staircase down to the shoreline. Once down, you'll see a lot of shelf-like rocks to your right. They make for comfy seats to relax and read a book next to the waterfall, I cannot recommend doing this enough.

This is a natural gift. Jägala waterfall is the largest natural waterfall in Estonia. The scene is picturesque; the surrounding area is green and peaceful. This place could be ideal for a family picnic. The waterfall is about +30 min drive from airport, and about 50 min drive from the harbor. There is a convenient parking place right near there. Also when we visited, there is a small truck food, from which you can buy sausages and hot dogs I think!

Fell in love with this place again. Standing under the waterfall in hot weather is better than any shower and whirlpool combined. Place is kept in good shape, there is no trash left around and quite a nice surrounding area tomwalk and to make a picnic.

Aivan upea paikka. Ei haitannut, vaikka vähän vettäkin satoi. Lumoava vesiputouksen kohina kuuluu kauas. Putouksen alle pääsee, vaikka sattuisi valitsemaan reitin ns. väärälle puolelle, hieman vaatii huolellisuutta alas mennessä.

One of the three waterfalls in the region. Water is clear and flowing along the river before meeting the beautiful small waterfall. It is in middle of lush forestry surrounding. After the waterfall it continues its way towards the old water plant. You can leave your car or bike on the parking space reserved for the location.

What an unexpected nature formation not far from capital Talinn. In plain land with no mountains there is nothing really to see and then suddenly waterfalls! And how amazing they are. Wide river has two levels and shallow water is gently falling from above to down part, which visually remind water curtain. Free parking and relaxing quiet surroundings made this place a worth visiting stop on journey to Narva

This is smaller than the one in Keila but here you can go under the waterfalls and there is not so many people. Google Maps shows way to the northern parking which is wrong. Southern side is official and has toilets benches and fireplaces.

Very beautiful waterfall about 35 kms from Tallinn. Quite convenient to reach. Ideal for a day picnic on a beautiful summer day.

Really nice waterfall, it's possible to go behind it and to take a swim near it if you want.

A nice waterfall in a calm and quiet place surrounded by some grassy hills and fields. Not much else on location, but it was still worth the trip.

I was astonished to see such an amazing nature's miracle in such a short distance from the capital city Tallinn. I didn't even expect to see a natural waterfall in Estonia. If you are exploring north of Estonia you must find time to pay a visit to this place.

Free entrance ! 💓 It's a very interesting spot. Beautiful forest with little waterfall. Very clean and lot of visitors at evening hour. We were enjoying this place so much, and please be careful by not standing too edge on top (near the waterfall) because underneath only have a thin layer, and we don't like to see any accidents happen. 🙂 Overall, Cheers to our beautiful mother natural.

Very beautiful waterfall close to Tallinn! Definitely worth of visit. Some people also swam under it.

Exceptional place! Highly recommended if you plan to visit Tallinn. It takes 25 minutes to reach Jägala from Tallinn old town. We took Bolt that costed 21 EUR. There's also bus. You can go underneath the waterfall, which feels great. Take waterproof jacket as you may get wet when you go closer to the fall.

...nice nature waterfall. My recomandation visit this place from left side, because there are steps for way under the waterfall. Right side is without easy way under him.

Very beautiful! The overall view was very pretty, and you can even go under the waterfall (only if you are prepared to climb over a few rocks) If you’d like to, you can go swimming there.

Lovely place to visit from Tallinn takes about 20 mins. You can take Uber/bolt or bus. Bus costs €2.3. Uber will roughly cost 20 euros from the terminal but on the way back you might not get an Uber/bolt. So do check bus timings.

Visit Estonia and make a trip to this beautiful waterfall. If you want to spend 2-3 hours then take coffee flasks and snacks with you. Now in Feb snow has turned into ice so it is slippery. Be careful.

Magnifique landmark in Estonia - pretty unique and popular also for locals. It gives you peace and calmness just watching the force of the nature giving no flying *ucks about pandemic, season or other issues people tend to think we rule. Respect to the nature with hint of humbleness is all we need time to time. I am visiting the place couple times per year and the view never gets old, just beautiful 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Nice waterfall, it's possible to walk right up to it and there is also a short path that takes you to the bottom. Note: maps will take you to the far side of the waterfall through a narrow dirt road. You'll see signs pointing you to the waterfall on the way there - follow them to get to the side of the river closer to the waterfall, with ample parking.

Jagala waterfalls, absolutely beautiful, good road network, parking space available with no fear of parking fines. Nice spot for grilling, picnic and parties in summer. Only turn off is the rest room.

This place also must be visited, if you are traveling around Tallinn. It is interesting to see even that big waterfall in Baltic states. Also it is very easy to get there by car by very good highway.

Definitely worth to visit this waterfall. Here you can even go under the waterfall! But be careful and don't come with classy expensive shoes, if you wanna go under the waterfall.
