I had been accommodated here by my Kerala friend a few years ago, and google ask me to review now, so I try to be honest here. Its really pathetic that, you don't have a nice star hotel in this town, which is famous for its world famous pooram, Still this hotel is far better when compared to their competitors in the location. But here too standard for being a 4 star categorized hotel is not maintained. I had been lodged in the second floor and they are running their accounts/admin office there, and their staffs are not dressed professionally. I met a guy whom I asked for Room Service and he replied me to ask in the House Keeping and the number will be inside the cabin, He said he is accounts manager there, I haven't seen an accounts manager roaming around in the Guest Area in sandals in entire my life travelling across 36 countries. first of all you keep the unprofessional people who don't have hospitality relation outside your guest area. then you train your hospitality team. That man is really pathetic. am sorry for that comment though. and he was even using that elevator for guest use so extravagantly. Their food and beverages service is good, quality of food is far better than some 5 star hotels in Cochin- but I cant give higher rating for this just because the earlier reason.

One of the decent Conventional halls in the crowded town of Thrissur.. decent ambience and quite good staff also…. Nice experience for weddings or wedding receptions…. Quality of food is also reasonable but maybe seating capacity for dining can be increased to match expectations!!!

The resto bar is an excellent choice if you’re a music lover and want to spend some time with your friends, partner or family. The service is very good and staffs are really adorable. The ambiance is different from other bars. The small space for music performance is the main highlight. They even gave me an opportunity to perform! 🎹( after getting permission from each guests.) Hope this is enough to understand how well they treat their guests.

Just used the guest room. Like all bad reviews place is ok but the staff is very snooty. I had come from US and booked a three day stay. After checking in and staying only one night for personal reasons I had to check out early. I offered to pay two nights. The staff seeing my desperation charged me three nights stay . I little consideration and better communication from staff would have been appreciated. Will probably never 👎 stay here again. I can see they worked to serve their interests more. Earning in US dollars so the expenses is not much. For me the whole experience was bad .

Amazing location right next to Sakthan Thampuran bus stand! The room was spacious and they provide house keeping services daily ín a professional way. The breakfast spread was great. Definitely recommend this hotel due to its prime location and awesome hospitality.

Visited the Navaras hall on the 4th floor. There was only 1 lift available. Possibly because the hotel is undergoing renovation. Ambience of the hall, lighting, decor was satisfactory. Clean and polished. Chairs and tables were decent, A/ C worked well and so it was comfortable. Wash areas were neatly maintained. Food quality was mediocre. Service was good. Parking was available. Good enough to hold a small function - max 150 people.

Very nice staff and experience. We stayed for one night in two rooms. Booking was done by phone call and was handled very well. The hotel is little run down but is maintained well. The breakfast spread was ok. But it was not much. We were late for breakfast and assume that was the reason. There is enough parking and a nice mini bar in the room.

Had dinner buffet on new year eve at Utsav restaurant. Food and service were good but had a bad experience from the staff who took my reservation. While booking they asked me my kids age and i told them they are 11 and 9 years. Then he agreed to charge them half price. But unfortunately in restaurants they refused it and I had to pay the full amount.

Had lunch there with my colleges, they didn't have mutton which is preferable for a hotel which is located in one of the hottest regions in Kerala. And the food is also moderate, only a few dishes were good.

Just an ok 4 star hotel. The room allotted was not that spacious ( I have seen much spacious rooms than this even in 3 star rated hotels). When we asked for a change of room, they showed us another one which was much smaller than the first and said only these two are available. So had to accept with the first room. The room service was good. The reception service was ok ok. Breakfast was good. Even the staffs in the breakfast area is welcoming. Room quality is good. Even had a mini bar inside room. But the worst part is they charged us 40 rs for an Aquafina water bottle for which the mrp printed was 20 which is not acceptable. When asked they said, they usually charge 40 for this. Totally 1. Room was not spacious 2. Charged more for mrp printed items

We stayed here for a night in two rooms in Aug. Location is great. Transportation is easy, autos available if you are not traveling on your own vehicle. We had breakfast in the morning, food was good. Service was top notch. The three star because we didn't get get hot water in the morning. We had a toddler and it was difficult for us to get him bath etc. We called reception - help came around try to fix but it never worked. Expectation from 3* hotel is that, they get basic things right (every single time)

The staff is very cordial and friendly. Made us very welcome. The deluxe hotel is in a busy area but the privacy is awesome. Would recommend this fine hotel to my friends back in South Africa 🇿🇦 .The dinner was excellent and very sumptuous. Thank you immensely.

Loved every bit of time spent at the Hotel. The room was spacious and clean, the staff was friendly and available at all time and the food was too good. Location of the hotel made it really easy to get around the city. Was able to get some quality family time here.

Pleasant and enjoyable stay. The rooms have been renovated and is in great condition. Staff are courteous, attentive and helpful. Food in the restaurant is excellent with excellent service. Looking forward to coming again in January.

Had a blessed time stayin, Loved every bit of time spent at the Hotel. The room was spacious and clean, the staff was friendly and available at all times and the food was very delicious and hygiene. The location of the hotel made it easy to get around the city.

Revisited this place for a classmates get together after a very long gap. The only positive I could say about this place is the availability of parking space. Personally I didnt like the food at all and I believe that it has deteriorated much compared to my previous (pre-covid) visits. Nevertheless I saw my classmates enjoying the food better than me, as they had it accompanied by drinks ( It's a bar hotel).

Went to the multi cuisine restaurant 'Utsav'. Tried the buffet . 599/- per person. It was a 5 non-veg. Buffet with 2 fish items, 1 chicken item, 1 beef item and 1 pork item. Pork was nice. North Indian dishes like Dal makhani, paneer etc was there . Chinese dishes like Kung pao vegetables, Noodles was there. Kerala meals with thoran, sambar,aviyal ,chammanthi and lots of other items was there. Curd rice and different salads were provided. Food tastes ok. They provided desserts like icecrem, fruit salad, carrot halwa, gulab jamun and palada pradhaman. Ambience was nice. Toilets were clean. Polite staff and good service. Buffet starts at 12.30. But we had to wait about 10 minutes more.

I recently attended an invited function at Dass Continental and was extremely disappointed with the service I received. When I went to take some food, I was informed that I couldn't take any because it exceeded the number of plates ordered. I was shocked that I wasn't allowed to take food at a function that I had been invited to. The staff was rude and unhelpful, and I was made to feel like an inconvenience rather than a valued guest. Furthermore, the overall atmosphere of the hotel was not welcoming. The decor was outdated, the lighting was poor, and the air conditioning was not working properly. The entire experience was unpleasant, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. In conclusion, I was extremely disappointed with the service I received at Dass Continental. The staff was unhelpful and rude, and the atmosphere was unwelcoming. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will not be returning in the future.

The hospitality we received from the reception was very poor. He is not treating the visitors well. We feel arrogance in his behaviour. So kindly make sure that your visitors are treated well.

They are the worst in hospitaliti , they don't respect the costumers, they don't even want to listen to what you want to say. They are only worried counting their collection at counters. I just expect them to be humble Doesn't matter what level a person is, I took their service in Executive bar and as well other bar which exist in the ground floor, but their behaviour is completely different and unprofessional. To be more specific I just used their bar facility.

Nice hotel for stay and food... very friendly staff. It is just 5 minutes walk to the railway station, ksrtc bus stand and the city center. The greatest attraction is the tasty and hygienic food that they serve....

This is one of the best 4 star hotels in Thrissur. The staff (especially Shruti at the reception counter) is really helpful and friendly. The restaurant is also good. And it's very close from the City Centre as well. Go for the two room suite, if possible as that's really spacious.

Good service by utsav restaurant team.. Except 40/- charged for a packaged drinking water. A bottle kept on the table need not be served, but they served it without asking to add gst to drinking water!! It's such a shameful act from a renowned hotel!!!

It's Just 1 Km away from Thrissur Railway Station. Room Service was very fast than I expected! Nice rooms and very hygenic!

I loved the room which we checked in. Many rooms are under renovation but still we got a semi suite type room. Food we ordered and the breakfast buffet was also very good.

Had organised my daughter's first birthday party at Dass Jupiter hall. The service was amazing. I had contacted Ajeesh sir & Rasheed sir, they helped me tremendously in organising and even while selecting the menu. Ajeesh sir suggested what would be great picks from their menu and the food turned out great.(Also, I used to pester him asking lot of questions regarding each dishes and modifying the selected menu 100 times 😀) As I am a feeding mom, Rasheed sir arranged for a suite for me and daughter completely free of cost. It was of great help and I cannot thank them enough for their patience and service. Kudos to the entire team. Hospitality is world class!! PS: Their tender coconut souffle is must try🤤🤤

Renovation is underway. The deluxe room is really small. No shower curtain...no soap dish. These are minimal necessities. Buffet food at the function hall was good

Clean and spacious rooms and toilets. Bed is a bit small even for just two people. Room service menu is good but items are very pricey for the quantity they provide

The DASS Continental is very easily accessible, situated right across Sakthan Private Bus Station and a km away from the Railway station. The hotel is currently renovating and is expected to be better when the renovation is completed. The housekeeping is extremely nice and the restaurant attached has very nice food and a menu that's expected to please your mind and hunger. Rooms are managed neatly with 24/7 service to restaurants, house keeping and reception. My stay was extremely happy.

Utsav Restaurant buffet excellent. Delicious and wide range menu. Each and every staff with really smiling face and taking care of each guest personally . The supervising staff r professionals. I used to visit with family before covid time. Prefer to visit again

We had used their Surya hall for a wedding reception 2 weeks ago. The staff, chef and management were very helpful in addressing our concerns and requirements. I will give 4 stars for their facilities. And an overall full 5 stars on the service, supervision and accommodating our requests during the function.

Happened to attend a well conducted function yesterday at Jupiter hall of DASS continental. Food was exceptionally good and well appreciated. The attending waiters,were very courteous and professional, attending to small details. Overall a memorable experience. World recommend for any fine gathering 👍😄 Congratulations 👏🏼 😊

It's been my absolute pleasure hosting my daughter's Baptism party in Dass Continental. Since I was in another country while planning this event, all the co-ordination activities with the hotel were held online and was not in-person. Mr. Jaison and his team did a wonderful job arranging everything we requested for. The food and service was really good and the guests really appreciated it. We never had a dull moment during this whole event as everything was in order and in place. Once again well done Team Dass Continental!

Hotel is located is just a km away from Round. Enjoyed the nice hospitality from staffs. Restaurant is good but I recommend their Al Carte service rather buffet which I don't feel to be worth it. All the needed and basic amenities comes along with their rooms. If you expect more of in-room amenities go with minimum of their suites. Overall it was pleasant experience.
